Not many people use these types of devices, but for what it’s worth, it makes a satisfying and compelling case for why it exists.
Why did I buy it?
My situation was that even though I have 200mbs down, and 30ms ping times in games, my wifi would cause horrible stutter in online games, while the rest of the internet, streaming, downloading etc is completely fine.
So how do I fix this issue without having to either rope a 100ft cable through my home, or buy a $500 new wifi 6 router?
The Answer: Netgear Powerline Adapter
I plugged one powerline adapter into my room, and attached the ethernet cord to my PC. Plugged the second one into the outlet where my Router is, and connected the ethernet cord from the router into the powerline adapter.
Once you hit the sync button it takes care of itself and creates a new wired network through your home’s electrical wiring and I no longer have any stuttering.
All of my problems have vanished with this new method and I couldn’t be more satisfied, more people should use these devices, they are simple and easy to install, 3 minutes tops if you follow directions, seriously.

My ps5 absolutely hates CenturyLink (me too especially since dsl is the only option in my area) Games would ping 2-300 constantly with 10mbps and under download speeds. Even had to take it to a friends house just to get things downloaded/ updated. My series X never had this issue and would regularly get 50mbps download speeds and stay under 100ping so I figured to give this device a shot hearing the mixed reviews. It truly saved me from running cat6 cords through the attic just to use the device online. Can actually download and play games with low latency and not worry about any jitter (ping stays under 100 now). Set up was extremely easy truly a plug and play device. Would recommend this over any “Wi-Fi extender”

WIFI is unreliable, if you notice that your smart TV buffers a lot or your video game is laggy get one of these and connect your devices with ethernet, and kiss goodbye to random disconnections and slowdowns.
These are pretty much plug and play, so I can't get easier to install. Just don't put them in a power strip, connect them directly to the wall.

I bought one of these Netgear (pairs) 2000s to run my main floor eero base and give me a solid connection to the basements modem. This NETGEAR 2000 works like a charm! If you have the eero pro pack and 2 (total 4) of these you can have truly powerful wired to wireless mesh! Boom! Problems solved!

100% commendable... I came accross to find this excellent product on bestbuy app. I should have my refurbished desktop hooked up with a wired connection. So happy, because now I have a permanent strong wired connection to my desktop and have my security cam, smart tv, wifi lights and phones stays connected wirelessly. Superb...

This product was recommended to me by a professional home audio/home theater installer. I researched the Powerline products thoroughly before purchasing. I am completely satisfied with these units. I've used them to hardwire (Ethernet cable) several formerly WiFi streaming devices located throughout my home and garage. I've had no issues whatsoever. Highly Recommended!

This is the easiest and most cost effective way to establish a hardwired internet connection ever!
It can also be moved as necessary to adjust to different access locations. I will be purchasing several sets to establish different ports without the need of hard wiring or installing RJ-45 ports.

My Wifi Connection Wasn't That Great In My BedRoom But When I Installed The Netgear Powerline In My Electrical Sockets With The Ethernet Cord I Have Internet Access All The Time Now.
It Also Has To Ethernet Ports So I Have One Plug Into My Tv And The Other Cord Goes Into My Firestick Using An Ethernet Adapter I Had To Buy To Do That.
I Highly Recommend This Device. You Get A lot For The Money Extra Electrical Plug On Front of it.

I was expecting better coverage based on the reviews. Works okay with 10x speed of wireless, but very picky on outlets. Awkward to install additional units. Had to repeat connection setup several times before it takes.

We decided to get rid of cable/direct tv due to expense and go streaming. We have a bi-level with router/modem in upstairs computer room. TV downstairs was only getting 6 Mbs at the highest before we installed these and now pushes out 50+ Mbs. Would recommend to anyone who does not want to spend 300$+ on a mesh system.

Disappointed that it takes up both outlet and on a 4 outlet it takes up nearly all of them with the big size of the port. $118 including tax also seem price at the upside.
I purchase this item for my work computer since I need direct internet from the ethernet cord. Havent tried that out yet.

Unfortunately, the adapter didn't work for me. I have AT&T Fiber with up/down speeds in excess of 950mbps, but my modem is in the Livingroom and my office is on the other side of the house.
I am seeing approx 150-160mbps via wifi. I've been doing more vr stuff lately and was trying to find an alternative to running cat 6, so I tried these adapters to provide a hard wire connection.
Apparently, my home's electrical system isn't very conducive to fast internet transmission, as I was only seeing 50-60mbps when connected with the powerline. My home is only 5 years old and I tried multiple outlets in the office with the same results.

I needed to connect a vonage phone in another room away from the router set up in thevliving room and for the phone to work it requires a direct ethernet connection. I connected 1 plug in by the router and the other 1 in the other room connected the ethernet cables to the phone and voila the product and phone are working perfectly.
