My internal wifi adaptor died so replacing it with this USB wifi adaptor was an inexpensive (40$?) solution. The staff at Best Buy gave me their names & phone numbers in case I had difficulty installing but it was easy to do and works fine. But you have to plug or keep it plugged in to use it...the only negative and a very small one.

No complaints at all... works perfect, I am in a 3 level home, my router is in the basement and I am working ont he top level and my reception is awesome...I work from home so speed and dependability is very important, this device has certainly done a great job!

I looked at a lot of similar items online and actually bought a different one for much less someplace else, but it didn't work for my computer and I had to return it. This was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I plugged it in and a minute later I had WiFi. Couldn't have been easier! Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this product because the built in wireless on our desktop malfunctioned and we could not get the manufacturer to cover it. So I purchased this product honestly with no huge research and it works better than our built in wifi adapter ever worked. The setup was simple on a Windows 8 HP all in one desktop, a few minutes tops. And ever since the initial setup we have not had to make any changes, move, unplug our adapter at all. It works immediately once the computer is powered on, no delay, no issues. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a reliable wireless adapter. It's not expensive at all, small so that it doesn't take up much space and most of all the speed is very fast. Doesn't hinder the connection.

At work, my old Netgear stick quit working. We tried so hard to figure out what was wrong with it since it had worked 24 hours earlier, but we came to the conclusion that it would be better to just purchase a new one. This Netgear was simple to install and has worked flawlessly since being installed.

It brings a Velcro adapter to clip to laptop. This is not a very good way to hold the adapter as the Velcro has a loose fit. it works well but it's not super fast. I'm using it in an older laptop and although it improved my connection a lot it's not the fastest. Good for the price

This adapter is awesome. This Netgear Wi-fi adapter is awesome. I have used other adapter and I was losing the signal for some reason and had to disconnect and reconnect the signal. Until this review I am writing I completely forgot I was using the Netgear Wi-fi adapter on my computer. Very strong device.

After being frustrated with my internet company, them telling me I needed to purchased another router because my internet was not connecting. Which would have costed over $100, I decided to go talk to the guys at Best Buy. After a brief explanation to the sales guy my problem, he directed me to this product. There was others that where more expensive but I was so pleased that it was it was less expensive. Got home and it was easy to install and it works great! I probably needed the new adapter all alone and the internet co wanted me to buy something that wasn't going to fix my issue. Thanks guys, you saved me some moolah.

The setup took very little time and it more than meets the range requirements i needed it for. It will cut out at times but just reset it like you would another router or modem. My parents bought a lousy desktop with no wifi capability and this filled the need perfectly.

Have some older desktops running equipment in my shop which is 50’ from the wireless router in my house. This fit the bill, instead of running a data line this was able to hook my old desktop to the internet. Decent price and it’s an easy install.

I was kind of in a spot. A rural location and my cable ISP wasn't doing it anymore. A Wi-Fi hot spot was going to have to do the job but my computer wasn't set up for wireless. The Netgear Genie worked great- that's not to say the same for the "hot spot" device that I bought. It crapped out in 5 weeks. Next try was with a smart phone on hot spot setting. The "Genie" had some problems getting through the security settings on the phone- which were entirely the phone's fault. The Netgear support guy spent an hour with me on the phone reconfiguring the smart phone's security codes. Once done, the Genie works like a dream. dream. Never known another support service would work so hard on some one else's device just to make their's work. Great tool and customer support!

I purchased this wireless network adapter to avoid making any additional holes in my walls or floors for hard wiring. Overall it works well. I occasionally have short interruptions in my connection, but that may be my (middle-aged) desktop instead of the device.

I needed something to connect to the back of my CPU and grab the wifi signals so I can have internet - this was perfect! Literally, plug and play. Setup took less than 5 minutes and I was up and running. Highly recommend this product for ease of use and strong wifi strength.

This is an easy to install USB Wifi adaptor for a PC. I installed it and was connected to my home Wifi in about 5 minutes. I recommend it particularly if your wifi is handled by other Netgear routers and extenders.

This little gizmo has allowed me to rearrange my living room furniture in a manner that gives me much more space. All I needed was a satisfactory means of "cutting the cord" to my router, and this item has surpassed my expectations of it. Wish I'd found it long ago.
