Bought this to combat the interference created by the overall layout and walls in the home. The Range Extender works better than I hoped and has reduced much of the frustration that I was having with connectivity issues.

We really like this product. It works well for us because we can actually see that everything is working by looking at the lights. It was really easy to setup too. This is exactly what our family was looking for.

This product is easy to setup and use. It has added functionality due to the 4 ethernet ports. It provides a great signal.

I use a wireless router and discovered that the work I do online was not uploading fast enough to register with the home office. This signal booster worked perfectly and allowed me to complete my work.

The Wi-fi extender sometimes lost the signal. Had to reset several times. Other devices lost connectivity as well. After several resets, the signal was better and the devices responded well.

This really works well. We use the Ethernet connections on it and you really can't tell it is not a hard wired connection. Very easy to set up. Not sure why you would want to spend more.

Bought the extender so that the other half of the house would have better internet...for the most part, it has worked fine...any issues that we have probably have to do with our internet provider, not with the extender. I have had a few connection issues, but if it's not connecting I just connect to the original router. We do have 4 of us connecting at any one time, and this has helped so that we can all do that with no major problems.

Super easy to set up and once it connected to the wifi I immediately had service in a room that would always cut out before. Haven't had any issues with connection in that room anymore.

With 2 pcs, netflix on 2 tv's, and 4 tablets and smartphones we needed a boost for our house (large layout) It does a good job for all

This product is effective at extending your wireless signal. It will reduce your speed, but it gets a signal where you otherwise couldn't . I've got mine set up downstairs at the opposite end of the house for my son to do his gaming. He uses it as for both wireless and wired connections. Took a bit to get it to sync with the existing wireless access point (until I brought it upstairs where I had a much stronger signal). Overall, I like it!

We needed to purchase a WiFi extender for our house because we were having spotty signal near the back side. After purchasing this extender and using the web-based setup process, we got the extender up and running in no time. Even though the process states to not use the same name as your primary WiFi router, we went ahead and used it anyways. Works like a charm and now we can roam around the house and hop between the WiFi router and extender depending on where we are in the house. No dropped or weak WiFi signals.

I bought this for my house because its big and the internet signal doesn't reach throughout the house. This boosted my signal, now I can stream videos on my phone faster.

Netgear Wi fi extender solved my problem, I couldn't get internet connection in my den. I can view netflix and other apps on my smart tv now. Works great! No problems with it.

It works ok keeps dropping its signal but when it does stay connected it works ok maybe have use an extender with antenna and it will not connect to certain laptops

Just noticed that we've had this since 2014 and it's still going strong. We have a "dead" area, so we use this to extend our WiFi from the upstairs modem to this extender downstairs. We have issues now and again, and visitors sometimes complain about our connection, but I think that's related to our basic internet speed, not the equipment. Main annoyance: Connecting to the extender settings is often a headache. When I go to mywifiext.com, as instructed, I get "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network" even though I am. I forget how I finally got in because I don't need to do this often, but it has frustrated me a few times. The signal from the extender was not strong enough to give us a good connection to a ROKU in the farthest bedroom, but it's perfect for our living room. We turn off our modem and extender overnight about once every couple of weeks--not sure if it helps to extend the life of them.

This was a very east to set up wifi range extender by Netgear, needed it to use with my smart tv. I am very happy with this product, and have had no problems at all.

Great booster for the price. I had option to buy more expensive ones but I bought this one and like the extended range with it. Save your money and buy this one.

I have a difficult house to get signal. Lots of concrete, two floors. The unit took about five minutes to set up, gave me 5-bar signal several rooms away from router. Signal good on both floors of house. It actually took longer to reset all handheld devices than to set up. Very pleased\. It performs just like the Best Buy said it would. My daughter was so impressed that she is getting one for her house too!

I purchased the Netgear range extender so I could have wi-fi outside my house because during the summer we're outside a lot. Easy to set up and use. Works well

Did exactly what I needed at a great price. Easy to install/configure as well. Love that it has 4 wired ports as well.
