We don't have any AC and use the Attic fan. However, it gets as hot inside as it is outside. I thought that this would cool down my room, but I basically just bought an expensive, giant fan. I figured it would cool the entire room, but it makes my room humid. If you are looking for a fan that can blow air super hard then this is for you, but this is not a swamp cooler or an AC unit. Its just a fan that goes a distance. I am cooler when it is on me, but I need a swamp cooler. I recommend if you need a fan that the air travels a way, but not if you need an environment cooled down.

Really just a fan

It does release somewhat cool air following all the directions including putting the ice packs in it. The biggest disappointment is the sound of water flowing constantly inside it. For some it could be a good white noise but it’s really loud.

More like a fan than an AC

This unit looked promising. So I placed and order here and received it even sooner than expected. Unfortunately this AC works more like a fan than an AC. It does blow cool air but it's not really that cold. Based on its price, I would not recommend it to others.

Big disappointment.

The little $50 evaporative coolers work better than this. It only weakly blows air. And the scant air it does blow is not cool. I returned it after 2 days of trying to get the best out of it.
