I've played EA NHL games now for decades. This edition does play very well on the ice. You have to work harder to get a goal which I think is a good thing. I really just play franchise mode, that mode has really not had an upgrade in a decade. Really needs a few updates. Still overall a pretty solid hockey game.

Great game! It's hard to not buy the new version each year to keep up with changing rosters.

I purchase the new NHL EA Sports game every season and there are always enhancements or improvements that make playing this game exciting and fun.

Why do we keep buying EA NHL releases? Even at 50% off retail, the value is not there. Minimal (if any) substantive new features. Menu system is consistently SLOWER than NHL 25 (try navigating through the various "Sets" and watch the EA logo spin on just about every screen draw). Useless UI navigation that seems to be engineered to waste your time, and Auction system that's obviously subject to PC-based sniping, laggy game performance (even on 2GB fiber). Thanks but no thanks, EA. Maybe the new Saudi overlords will clean house.

My great nephew follows, plays regular hockey, follows all the players stats, loves this video game.

I got this disc for my boyfriend as a gift for Christmas and it came super quickly, in great condition (no damage, packaged was sealed). He really enjoyed it!
