Customers highly value the excellent coffee quality and ease of use of this 10-cup coffee maker. Many appreciate the included frother and the machine's ability to brew various beverages. While some find it large and the water reservoir a minor inconvenience, the stylish design is also frequently praised.

So just wanted to say how amazing the coffee is with this coffee machine . I love being able to fluff my milk in the morning with the tool on the side . The coffee pot leaves the coffee nice and hot for 3 hours I would say . It reminds me to put water if there is not water in the tank . Also there are bars that start and show how much more time is needed until the coffee is done . There is a clock on the coffee maker . Also it comes with a cup to measure how much coffee is needed to pour inside the coffee pot . Mainly I like how I can put fresh water every single time and don’t have to worry about the tank sucking in coffee beans and not working . I had the Bunn coffee machine and switched to the Ninja and it’s the best decision I made .

The build quality is great, the options are seemingly endless, and the daily functions are straightforward. There’s not a lot I could say that hasn’t already been said in these reviews, except this: go to Menards and pick up a 50¢ size 00 rubber stopper to plug the whole in the lid of the carafe when you are done brewing. Greatly increases the length of time your coffee will stay hot.

The Ninja coffee maker is slim and fits in a compact place on my counter next to my stove, under the cupboard. From first glance while unpacking, you can see it is very stylish with the black and stainless-steel design. The exterior doesn’t show fingerprints.
The system comes with a book of recipes, a quick start guide, and the owner’s guide. All are visually supported booklets with easy-to-follow directions. Be sure to follow the initial directions and run two Full Brew cycles before you drink anything you make. That ensures the machine is cleaned out properly.
The quick start guide then takes you through the different decisions to make with your first brew. The removable water reservoir is easy to fill and dishwasher safe. It has auto-metering so you know how much water you need to add based on the size you wish to brew.
There are 6 brew sizes (cup, XL cup, travel, travel XL, half carafe, full carafe). The carafe is great, and you can make a single cup with the drop-down cup plate so your hot beverage doesn’t splatter over the counter.
You get two baskets; one for tea and one for coffee. I love this so my tea doesn’t taste like coffee. When you insert the coffee or tea filter, the machine senses which one it is (smart basket recognition) and gives you the brew setting choices for that one. For tea: herbal, green, oolong, white and black. For coffee: classic, rich, over ice, cold brew, specialty. The baskets are easy to clean, but make sure you don’t toss out the tea insert when you dispose of your used tea bags into the garbage. You can also use a paper filter for coffee inside the filter holder.
The brew tracker (5 blinking bars) tells you how far along your beverage is and then shows END where the time is displayed when the process is complete. For my tea, it steeps in the basket, and then the brewed tea is released into the vessel below. For those who desperately need a cup of caffeine immediately, if using the full or half carafe size, you can press the drip stop button, grab a cup, put the carafe back in, then continue the rest of the brewing cycle.
I have seen the cold brew prices on the shelves in stores and the prices assorted with them. This is a much better deal. I myself am a big fan of iced tea. I love that I can brew a cup and it isn’t watery despite all the ice I add. Cold brew takes 10 minutes in this system, unlike traditional cold brew that can take all night.
Did I mention that it comes with a smart scoop (that conveniently attaches to the outside) that measure coffee on one side and tea on the other, and a fold-away hot frother for milk?!
There are a couple of neat options you should take into consideration when contemplating whether or not to purchase this item versus another:
1. The auto-IQ option means that the system knows how much water to use, at which temperature, and for each size and brew type.
2. There is a 24-hour programmable delay brew so you can schedule brewing ahead of time so it is ready when you are.
3. With the clean function, the CLEAN light will illuminate after there is a buildup of hard water calcium. Follow the cleaning instructions in the care & maintenance section to address that.
4. The unit will automatically power off after one hour of inactivity. That way, if you forgot to turn it off in the morning when you leave for work, it will be off when you get home at the end of the day.
So many options, it is sure to please the entire family, whether they are coffee or tea drinkers. The specialty brew option adds even more delectable concoctions: chai lattes, cappuchino, matchaccino, etc. The 40-recipe booklet that you receive is filled with awesome ideas. I have only had the product for a few days, and I have already made 3 of them. And it is so easy to clean. I guarantee this home brew system will be one of the most loved, and used appliances in your kitchen. You might even consider buying one for the office and get rid of the machine with the pricey cups. To me, it is totally worth the price and I am sure you will agree with me once you have had it for just a week.

My wife and I absolutely love coffee - we literally don't go a day without drinking it - so the Ninja Hot & Cold coffee maker is by far one of the best things we've come across.
CON:
- The biggest and most obvious downside to this purchase is how bulky the whole system is for something that doesn't accept whole bean coffee - prepare for it to take up an awful lot of your countertop. It was surprising, but it also makes sense considering how many features it packs - coffee maker, tea brewer, milk frother - so it didn't bother me personally, but if space is already at a premium in your kitchen be prepared to swap something out to make this fit.
- This product has overall great packaging and design, and it would have been nice if there were a place on the machine to store the tea filter. Not critical, obviously, but it would have been nice.
PROS:
- Makes obviously great coffee. The stuff that comes out is definitely stronger than our old coffee machine. There are a bunch of different options for brewing the coffee, such as classic, rich, iced, and cold brew. That's a ton of versatility in one package.
- Works quickly and is quiet, much more so than other coffee brewers.
- The carafe advertises keeping coffee hot for 2 hours, but honestly? We've gone to work and come back after 8 hours and the coffee's still warm.
- We really enjoy how the milk frother neatly tucks into the side of the machine along with the scoops. It's a nice touch. Similarly, its action is smooth and easy to manage with no mess.
- The one thing that really excited me in particular as a coffee fan is the inclusion of a recipe book for all different kinds of specialty drinks, hot and iced and even frozen. Sure, anyone can throw together a book, and you don't necessarily need the Ninja brewer to make these drinks, but it goes a long way toward making the machine feel like something more than that - it feels kind of like you're starting on a coffee discovery adventure. Corny? Oh yeah. But they are absolutely going for that vibe here and it works.
What can I say? We love this thing. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone with the budget for this machine, admittedly expensive, but I think worthy of the price tag considering how much it can actually do.

A no-brainer for coffee lovers

This coffee maker can do just about everything. And it has a frother.
My wife and I have very different tastes in coffee (and just about everything else, but that’s for a different therapy session). She likes the flavored coffee, I like plain and strong. I’m an iced-coffee-year-round-in-New-Hampshire kind of coffee drinker and she’s about 50/50 when it comes to seasonal (cold in hot weather, hot in cold weather), but she is always a hot coffee drinker at home.
Sorry for the history, but you may be in a similar situation & this could help you in your decision.
First off. Cold Brew. Love it.
How? Doesn’t it take forever for a “real” cold brew? Well yes, but this is brewed at a lower temp and takes about 10 minutes for 1 cup, when it’s set for “XL Mug.” Let me tell you, it’s realllly good. I’m used to doubling up on coffee scoops and brewing hot over ice, then adding more ice, stirring to make it less watered-down tasting & then eventually having something that’s OK tasting and cold. This cold-brewer is fantastic.
Like hot coffee? It does that too; if you like strong coffee, you’re in luck because the “Rich” setting can get you there. Flavored coffee has the flavor pop on that “Rich” setting. Having people over? Carafe time. Want a few cups on a weekend morning? Half-Carafe!
One thing it doesn’t do, is sense if there’s enough water to complete a cycle before it starts pouring coffee into your cup. You’ll come back to see ‘add water’ and half a cup brewed. But, instead of having some logic built in, they make “Step 1. After filling the water reservoir ...” the first part of the instructions in the book, in an effort to explain the ‘limitation.’
We aren’t tea drinkers, so to try to review a feature that I honestly can’t compare and contract would be a disservice to you, the reader.
If you're a coffee drinker and in the market for an advanced maker, then get. this. thing.

I have had a single cup coffee maker that I loved for several years, but I can say that after having the Ninja Hot & Cold Brewed system, I would never go back. It has so many options, both simple and more complex, that I didn’t realize what I was missing.
Let me start off with the variety of sizes available - it has several size options including cup, XL cup, travel mug, half carafe and full carafe. This is great because if you are like me, you owned both a K-cup and a traditional coffee maker for when I wanted to make more than 1 cup at a time. In addition, I don’t have to worry about my larger cups not being full or having to “double” brew to fill my cup - I just pick the correct size.
Along with the size options, there are a number of brew methods: Classic, Rich, Over Ice, Cold Brew and Specialty. This is great for me and my husband, as I enjoy a nice hot coffee and he prefers Iced Coffee. In addition, I have tried all the brew methods for the coffee and I can say without a doubt, coming from a coffee snob, this system makes good coffee. I wasn’t expecting a lot from the Cold Brew option (just more of a cold coffee), but I can say that it was a true Cold Brew coffee and tasted like something you would pay over $5 from a fancy barista.
Now onto the tea brewing features - all the same size and brew methods that were available with the coffee options follow the tea brewing option. In addition, you also have the ability to choose the type of tea that you are brewing - Herbal, Black, Oolong, White and Green. This is a nice feature to have, especially since teas are brewed at different temperatures. The system also gives you the ability to brew using tea bags and loose leaf tea. I brewed from both a tea bag and a herbal loose leaf tea and I can saw that I was impressed with the brew.
Another neat feature is the frothing whisk - it is so simple to use, folds away nicely on the side of the system and easy to remove for cleaning. It’s a really nice touch to be able to make cappuccinos and lattes at home.
The system also comes with a stainless steel carafe and a Smart Scoop, that snaps on the side of the system with ease. The carafe is heavy duty and keep coffee hot/cold for several hours. The smart scoop is nice because there is no more looking for a measuring spoon to add the correct amount of coffee or tea, depending on the size that you are brewing.

This is a no-brainer purchase. If you're looking to get that coffee house feel in your own home, this brewing system what you've been waiting for. I don't really know what else to say, but to tell you to go ahead and put this machine in you shopping cart. I love the way it makes sure that you don't confuse your filters and accidentally brew tea or coffee in the wrong filter. The option to choose what size drink to brew is awesome. And the fold down tray, for single brewing, is a sweet touch. I totally recommend this one.
As usual, I'm adding a link to my full online review. Enjoy your new toy.

Fantastic Brewer, Can do Tea as well as Coffee
|

Having previously reviewed the Single Server Ninja Brewer and seeing this model be released I couldn't pass this up.
This has in fact replaced that brewer for many reasons.
This particular model came with the Stainless Steel Carafe. There is a model that comes with the Glass Carafe. The Thermal Carafe definitely does a fantastic job of keeping Coffee or Tea hot. I had brewed a full Carafe and even after several hours my coffee was still very hot, almost as if I had just brewed it.
There are several options for brew size as well as several Brew modes. You can see these in my photo.
I do like having the addition of a clock on the device and also being able to set a brew delay. This is great if you want to have coffee ready to go in the morning when you wake up. The only caveat is the system has to stay powered on. If you turn it off, it will not brew at a later time. It's interesting to see something like this in this day and age when a lot of other brewers will power on at the desired time and start to brew. A small nuisance but not irritatingly so.
The brewer does come with two different permanent filters, one for tea another for coffee. Both do their job as they should. My mother typically just drinks tea. When I asked how her tea turned out after a few uses she remarked it was pretty strong. She normally used the Keurig for the tea. I think the reason it's so strong is that she is not used to either the brewing method the Ninja uses or the Keurig was always brewing a weak tea.
For myself, my coffee has always tasted great. I alternate between the rich and the classic brews and occasionally enjoy a over ice brew. I really appreciate the cold brew option now, but I haven't yet used it. I will probably do so over the weekend.
My only real complaints with this model is that brewing takes longer and the reservoir is smaller by about 12 or 18 ounces. With the Single serve brewer I was able to make a cup in any size in about 1-2 minutes. This particular brewer takes about 2-5 minutes. Cold Brew takes quite a bit longer according to the manual.
Another thing I do like is the included recipe book. There's quite a bit of recipes in there for just about everyone. There's stuff for Hot and Cold Tea or Coffee, Cold Brew's, Frappe's and even some adult concoctions such as White Russian variant.
Given that I've had my other Ninja for about 2 or 3 years now and only had one hiccup where it wouldn't brew, but leaving it off for a few days and turning it back on seemed to fix it, I have no doubt this one will last me as long or even longer.

Six different sizes, five different brew types for coffee and tea and the ability to froth your own milk. You literally have your own coffee shop without the prices. It has two different baskets one for coffee and one for tea, and the machine automatically detects which one you’re using. Need a whole carafe but don’t wanna wait till it’s done, use the drip stop button and pour you a cup. Even when I had a machine that used pods, I used the basket that allowed me to use my own coffee to save money. The Ninja also comes with a nice double scoop that attaches to the side of the machine and shows you how many scoops to use for each size. The frothier easyily detaches for cleaning and folds away when not in use. This is an awesome machine weather you’re a novice or a coffee/tea connoisseur!

Everything You'd Need In A Coffee/Tea Maker

If you are looking for a Coffee maker but want more style and variety, I'd definitely recommend picking this up! It has simple options for those who just want a a pot of coffee or cup of tea, or more options for those who want an iced latte or frothy cappuccino. All in all, this will be my everyday coffee maker moving forward.
PROS:
- Once powered on, the Coffee Maker looks very modern and slick. The display is crisp and clean, the carafe's stainless steal design also gives it a better look.
- Ninja did a nice job differentiating coffee and tea. They have two different baskets for them and when you switch the baskets the machine knows and displays "Tea" or "Coffee"
- I am a big fan of the no-pod, no-filter design. I would rather use fresh grounds or loose leaf / tea bags than having to buy specific one use disposable pod.
- It really is a smart design to be able to pick the size coffee/tea you want. Sometimes you only want a small one, a bigger one for the road, or an entire pot for everyone. It also has a non-slip pad that folds down if you want to put a mug underneath the basket.
- The detachable measuring cup on the side is a nice feature so you know how much ground or loose leaf to put in the basket as well.
- The steam wand is a great feature. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and folds away nicely.
- The display and dials are very functional. Once you select your size of drink and style, it pops up a status bar to let you know how far along the brew is and this is very helpful. It then makes an easy beep and says END when your drink is ready! The drink tasted great to but I imagine that varies on what kind you use.
CONS:
- Out of the box it just seems intimidating. It advertises a lot of features, drink recipes, and the manual showcases a lot of options. Really it's easy to use but they make it a little over the top.
- There is no warming pad for the coffee pot (carafe) but the carafe is insulated and keeps warm long enough anyways.

Best Coffee/Tea Maker Ever Made

The Ninja Hot & Cold 10-Cup Coffee Maker is by far the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I replaced my old Ninja coffee maker (model CF091) with this upgrade. There was nothing wrong with my old one, this model just does more and I was excited about the upgrades so I went for it.
First of all, it is easy to use and nice to look at. It makes a delicious cup of coffee and tea as well. Whether you like hot or cold, coffee or tea, this system has you covered.
It comes with two permanent filters; one for coffee and one for tea. The filters are designed differently to accentuate the brewing process for each. The machine automatically knows which filter is in and adjusts its settings accordingly.
The display is all digital, with a built-in clock and a delay brew feature. There are six different brew sizes, from a small cup to a full carafe. There are five different brew styles to select from and they work for both coffee or tea. They are Classic, which gives a lighter taste; Rich which is bolder flavor; Over Ice which is the shorter brew time for cold drinks; Cold Brew which is a 10-minute brew for coffeehouse style cold drinks; and Specialty, which is for your lattes, espressos, etc. In addition to that, if you have the tea filter installed, you can also choose between different types of tea leaf settings which control the steeping time. You can choose between Herbal, Black, Oolong, White, or Green.
There is a removable water bin that holds a carafe full of water, so you can make several cups of coffee before having to refill it. The carafe is double walled stainless steel, so it keeps drinks hot for up to two hours while remaining cool to the touch on the outside.
The last awesome feature is the built-in frother that tucks away nicely when not in use. It quickly whips up froth for your specialty drinks and removes easily for cleaning.
Ninja makes products that have smart designs and work well, while not being too expensive. Ninja has become one of my most respected brands and they've done it again with this Hot & Cold Brewed System.

I continue to buy Ninja products for my kitchen (air fryer, blender) and now this coffee/tea machine. I love each product due to the high quality they achieve.
This machine has many settings. Personally, if you are just a plain ole coffee drinker, then this might be more than you need as there are many options far cheaper. But if you enjoy making different types of coffee or tea, then this has all the settings you need & is easy to use.
I love the fact you don’t need paper filters for this machine as the buckets have their own fine mesh to filter the coffee & tea.
The only negative I have is that the carafe doesn’t have a reliable spout. If the carafe had a slightly pointed/angled spout (instead of being round) then spills would be less frequent when pouring into a cup/mug. It’s usually fine until you get towards the end when the carafe is getting empty when this problem tends to occur most. To me it’s not a big deal since it only spills a little bit, but something to keep in mind when pouring.
Overall it’s a great product (4.5+ out of 5).

This is an excellent engineered coffee maker. The best I have seen.
1) You set amount you want , 1 cup, large cup, travel mug, 1/2 pot or full pot and it determines how much water to take from resevoir.
2) Measuring spoon attaches to side and gives directions for different servings.
3) Has separate basket for tea so tea taste is not spoiled by coffee
4) Frother works great and is easy to clean
5) Makes great coffee and tea with correct temperature.
6) Resovoir detaches for easy filling.
7) Baskets can be used with or without filters. I use filters for easy cleaning.
8). If you forget to fill resovoir is stops and reminds you and after you fill it it starts where it left off with a push of a button.
9) It comes with a glass pot version with heater that lowers temperature over time so as not to over cook coffee, but I got the insulated pot and like it. (costs a little more).
10) I love that it saves my setting as I usually only get travel mug size each morning. No pooring water, just add coffee and push button and fill resovoir every other day.
11) Has altitude calibration since water boils at lower temp.
Bestbuy price was cheaper than Amazon for insulated pot version.

I was initially going to upgrade my Keurig but saw the great price on this Ninja and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the idea of getting away from the Kcups. I like all the different size settings so I can brew a reg cup of coffee up to a full carafe. The stainless steel carafe keeps hot for at least 2hrs after brewing. The milk frother is a breeze to use. I like that it's easy to clean after using since you just unscrew it from the Ninja and rinse it in the sink. I also like that I can brew loose tea or tea bags with the included tea filter in place. For brewing coffee, you can use the included filter or cone filters if preferred. I've had my Ninja for 1 month already and have had absolutely no issues and I already live it so much better than my old Keurig. Very happy with my purchase.

Is it the best coffee maker out there? Probably not. Is it the best value for money? Yes!
It makes excellent coffee (assuming you are putting decent coffee in of course). What more do you want? It's easy to clean and easy to use - there's that I suppose.

I love this coffee maker! This is my second Ninja and I don’t think I’ll ever change. I love the assortment of sizes. I also love that I can make iced tea... I’ve drank so much iced tea lately because I can have a 1/2 pot made so quickly. I’ve used the frother to make a couple of expresso drinks. It worked great and was kind of fun to play with. This pot is pricey, but if it lasts me as long as my last Ninja, it will be well worth it.
