I absolutely love this machine! I used a Chemex pour over for over a year and just missed a traditional coffee pot. I love the option of making different size cups and a half or full carafe. I researched coffee makers for a while before I decided on this one. It does so much for the money. The cappuccino-like drink from the specialty function is so easy. I make one every morning. The attached frother is great and easy to use and clean.

Pros: built-in frother is awesome. Reusable coffee filter is a nice option--removes the filter taste you get from other filter-coffee makers. I like that you can make a cup or an entire pot, or any amount in between. You can choose the strength of brew with a touch of a button . I'm super pumped about this buy overall.
Cons: I wish it had a built-in coffee grinder. I got a separate grinder in this case. The stay warm-plate option doesn't seem to be as hot as my previous coffee maker. I'll drink a pot of coffee over the course of a few hours, so it needs to stay hot! Overall not too much to complain about!

You can make make coffee so many ways with this machine. Hot or iced
And uses any ground coffee you want... No more expensive k-cups... Easy to clean, and it comes with reusable filter or you can buy disposable filters. And the frother is fun! Who needs Starbucks?

Purchased just over 2 months ago after having a Cuisinart on demand carafe free maker for 12 years. Took me a couple weeks to get use to all the options but finding it very easy to operate. There are also button options for Classic or Rich coffee, however for myself I found the Rich resulting in too strong for my personal taste but occasionally like using the Classic setting. Bought on sale for almost $50 less than the regular price making it about the same as I purchased my Cuisinart which had no "bells and whistles".

We have had this coffee maker for right at year, and every single time we make a full pot of coffee, it leaks everywhere. We have lowered the amount of water we put in it as well, but still leaks.
We rarely make a full pot and have that many people
over, but when we do it leaks.
As far as everything else, it’s great! The leak is the ONLY reason this doesn’t get a perfect rating. My wife loves how hot the coffee is and the ability to make a single cup of coffee as well.

I received this Ninja Coffee maker about a week ago and have used it frequently to try the different settings that it comes with! When I received it my favorite part is the cold brew feature which is how I love my coffee. I'm from Texas and I already have to deal with heat so I like my coffee cold for the most part.
It was an easy set up and nothing fussy like pod coffee makers, nor did it have a bunch of pieces or parts to put together. So if you're like me and usually just need to brew a cup or two for yourself you'll love this Ninja coffee maker because it can brew coffee for one of my travel mugs or if I have family over I can brew a whole pot. All without having to remove or add parts.
The frother that comes with it was just a plus and I like that unlike other machines I didn't have to spend money to get the frother it just came with it.
Super huge thumbs up to Ninja for delivering a nice coffee maker that you can also set a timer so that when you wake up the coffee is brewed and... it keeps it at the perfect warm temperature based on the strength of coffee you are brewing! Oh and you get a small recipe book for different beverages in case you're a beginner with coffee. This machine came just in time for the holidays and all my family members are trying to get their hands on one when they head back home!

This is a pretty good coffee maker. I love the design of it and it fits perfectly in my kitch as a modern sort of retro design. It uses a #4 cone filter if you wish or it has an included wire filter that you can use and reuse. I found myself using paper filters to keep the grounds out of my sink. You can easily take the filter out with the bracket that it sits in so it makes clean up very easy. The frother on the side is a very neat addition for a coffee maker. It has a little wire loop circle that basically just vibrates around and turns your milk/creamer into a foamy substance. I found myself doing this with my coffee/creamer combo and it is a nice change for my regular coffee. This coffee maker also comes with a two sided measuring spoon to help guide you on how much grounds to use, a very welcome feature in my mind since I can never remember the correct ratio of water/coffee. However, the biggest feature that I love about this is the ability to remove the water tank and fill it away from the coffee maker. It makes it so easy now and I don't find myself trying to pour water into a little inlet that my old coffee maker had. I am really looking forward to my next cup of coffee as I write this right before bed. I have never had a coffee maker make me that excited about coffee before and it may just do the same for you. My only complaint is that the carafe only holds 10 cups, but it is super easy to make an additional pot that it really hasn't bothered me much.

I really like this unit; the ability to easily brew one cup or a whole carafe makes it an excellent choice for coffee lovers, in my opinion.
When I first unpacked the Ninja, I was surprised at how little it weighted; I was expecting something heavier. On top of that, there was virtually no 'assembly'; other than the frothing tool that attaches to a pivoting arm at the back of the brewer. After reading through the quick start guide, I filled the reservoir with water, ran the brewer thru two cleaning cycles, and then brewed my first cup. Setting the machine up took under 10 minutes, but the two cleaning cycles took quite while; there's a built-in timer for the cleaning cycle, so that whole process took a few hours. To compare with my current pod system, I bought a few bags of ground coffee for which I also have pods. The ground coffee had much more flavor, but the brewing options on the Ninja give you even more control over flavor and body, and the brewing time for a single cup is comparable to the pod system.
The unit doesn't have an overly large footprint; it's a bit larger than my pod system. It has a very stylish appearance that looks great with my stainless steel appliances. One of the things I liked from the start was how easy the reservoir was to grab and remove; there's a built-in 'handle', making it very easy to remove/replace the reservoir with one hand. Another nice feature is the folding platform used to hold normal sized mugs; it can be folded up and out of the way if you're brewing an oversize/travel mug/carafe. The carafe sits on a 'smart' warming plate that you can turn on to keep the coffee in the carafe warm. Another nice feature is the delayed brewing ability; you simply put your coffee in the unit, press a button, set the delay time and it will start brewing at that time. It's also nice that there's a two-sized scoop that hides nicely on the side of the unit; almost everything you need is right at your fingertips. With regard to the frothing tool, I haven't used it that much, but it does work, and if you want froth on your drink, then I'm sure you'll like it. The only thing I didn't like about it is that you have to microwave the milk separately if you want it hot. Not a huge deal, but it'd be great if they could run steam to the froth tool. The unit has a reusable filter (what I've been using), but you can use paper filters, which would result in a quicker cleanup, but even with the reusable filter, cleanup is only about 2-3 minutes.
All of the things I've mentioned above, coupled with the fact that bagged coffee is probably 3-4 times cheaper than the same coffee in pods, makes a compelling case for buying this brewing system. Yes, it takes a few minutes to scoop the coffee into the filter, and yes, cleanup takes a few minutes (less if you use paper filters), but the difference in taste is worth those extra 4-5 minutes, if you have them.

I’m a big coffee drinker. So much so that I’m a gold member at Starbucks, 3 years running. That’s a lot of coffee, cappuccino and Frappuccino, latte’s cold brew. My hubby doesn’t like coffee, so the carafe probably won’t be used much.
With that being said, I wanted a machine that gave me all of these options without spending too much money and not have to leave my house.
Ninja has figured it out. I now have a barista in my kitchen. Con: I have a small kitchen and this little guy isn’t so little. So be prepared to make some space and try not to move it once you’ve planted it. Not as easy to relocate as a regular coffee maker.
I read the instructions and watched YouTube videos for the previous model and others like it. Seemed easy, so I gave it a go only to realize I didn’t have all the ingredients I wanted. So I ran to HEB and spent $25, ouch. (caramel, marshmallow crème, whip crème, almond milk, vanilla syrup, baileys liquor) What I didn’t have to buy was a coffee scooper because it comes with a smart scoop. Makes adding coffee grinds to the filter super easy and its hides away on the system. Don’t forget to clean it after each use. The permanent filter will save $. Can you imagine making 20, 30, 100 cups of coffee (not pots) and how many replaceable filters it would take? Ninja actually thought about us when they gave us this filter that you clean and reuse.
Back to the first drink…… Cappuccino. I was more excited about frothing the milk than anything. And I did……immediately pulled the cup from the frother and its was beautiful (up and down motion is suggested). You can do hot or cold milk. Con: after you froth milk, keep the cup under the frother until you are ready to wipe it off, otherwise, frothed milk will be splattered all over your counter and old milk is gross if not cleaned quickly. Suggestion, buy a frother cup that has a pouring spout. This will allow you to do a smooth pour and possible design of some sort. Or if you want to cheat the system, you can buy cappuccino stencils (99cents on eBay). Ninja, ya might consider adding all these accessories in the kit.
Moving on, be patient. You will have to read through the instructions a few times before you memorize your favorite drink. Key, keep the recipe’s close by. One tip I’ve noted is for cappuccino, you will want to preheat the cup. Hot drinks should go in a hot cup and cold drinks should go in a cold cup. (best tip yet)
Con: if you make one single cup after the other, be careful when you pull out the filter, it may have hot coffee grains in it and some liquid may spill out as well. So caution, clean thoroughly after using, just common sense really. Oh and the drip stop lever comes in handy when not in use as well. It will beep at you if you try to make a cup and the drip stop is on (rain drop with a line through it) just switch and keep it moving.
After all was said and done, I made a decent cup of Cappuccino. There are some things I will try differently but overall I made a product that I would normally pay $3-5 in a café for but I’m in my pajamas. Win Win. Ask me, would I recommend this to others………. Hhhhheeeeccckkk yeah (if you love coffee) Hope you enjoyed my review.

I was able to unbox, setup, and brew my first carafe of coffee in less than 15 mins! The setup is super easy, as the machine is basically ready to brew right out of the box. I simply added my coffee, selected the brew style that I wanted, and away it went. Full carafe of great tasting coffee in less than 10 mins. I even frothed the milk with the built in frothing device. and the auto warmer kept the carafe nice and warm/hot until it was gone. the flip down single cup tray is perfect for when you only want a single cup, and clean up is super easy and quick. I have family that use the K-cup machines, and I honestly think that this machine overall is easier to use, and brews better tasting coffee. You can brew hot or cold, regular, rich and even "specialty" which gives you that espresso/french press boldness, and sizes from small cups, large travel mugs and half or full carafe. I just can't get over how simple the Ninja machine is to use. Just add your favorite coffee and push the button. Done! This might be my new favorite kitchen appliance in the house!!!

Ninja knocked it out of the park with this coffee maker! I have used a Keurig for years and have become accustom to the ease of use. However, I didn't realize I was sacrificing quality for convenience. Enter the Ninja Coffee Bar. The Ninja uses traditional ground coffee instead of pods or k-cups, but it isn't an ordinary coffee maker. The Auto-IQ feature adjusts brew time, temperature, and flow of the water to make every coffee beverage imaginable. My first drink was a flat white with cheap coffee grounds and 2 percent milk. Surprisingly, it was as good as one from a Coffee shop! I like how you can make as little as a single cup or as much as a full carafe. I can't wait to buy some quality coffee and try more of the recipes included with the coffeemaker! If I could find something negative to say, it would be the size. It is too tall to fit under my cabinets at 15" high. I still highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a better cup of coffee or more variety than a Keurig can offer.

Beware! The model advertised in the photo is not the same as the one I obtained, the model that is delivered to you in the store is one cheaper than the one illustrated here on the website. compare the photo illustrated here with the coffee machine that you have in the store before buying. It is a deceptive advertisement.

Great Coffee Machine for Anyone

I am not much of a regular coffee drinker, but I enjoy the specialty beverages like flavored lattes and blended ice drinks (i.e. Frappuccino) from time to time. I didn't think it would be economical to buy a machine (or multiple machines) that would be able to make these high end drinks at home. However, the Ninja Coffee bar is great and makes all this possible for a reasonable price!
The key is it's "Specialty Brew" option. With 4 tablespoons of ground coffee, the machine can brew 4 oz of concentrated coffee that can be mixed/layered with milk, frothed milk, ice, or blended with ice and what every flavor you like. The included recipe book and website have a bunch of recipes that are great on their own, but you can modify them to your taste as well. The included frother works great as well. One tip is to make sure you milk is very hot before frothing, as the frothing process will cool it significantly as air is incorporated into the milk.
So far I have made a mocha latte and a pumpkin spice latte. Both have been equivalent to what I have received in cafes, but at a fraction of the cost. I will try to do a blended mocha drink next - my own homemade mocha Frappuccino.
I am looking forward to trying many new recipes over the next few weeks, but my initial impressions leave me confident that I will be enjoying many more delicious drinks in the future thanks to this machine.
