I've made a few smoothies and daiquiris with this, and the blender makes very quick work out of these with both the full-sized pitcher and single-serve cup attachments. I wasn't keeping track of time, but I'd say about a minute is all you need to avoid any large chunks of ice or frozen fruit/veggies. It's also good for making dips or mixes for sandwiches, so I know this will help to save some prep time for when the holidays come around. One thing to note is that the base of the blender is pretty big, about 7 inches wide, and once the pitcher is placed, the whole thing stands at around 19 inches, so make sure you have adequate counter space. The only real downside is that this blender is fairly loud, especially with the small single-serve container. Though I don't really think there's such a thing as a quiet blender. If you're in a shared living space you may want to be careful at the times you use it, as well as if there are any easily-startled pets around. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with this, and I'm eager to see what else I can make with this.

For the last week I've been testing the Ninja UltraCrush Professional blender system. Overall it is a perfect starter blender system that performs well. I've had multiple Ninja blenders, and in my experience they have been very reliable. This blender system provides all the basic functionality required for blending and chopping. The main unit has a simple design with suction cup feet to keep it from moving on the counter, four strong blend speeds and a pulse button. It comes with one small blender cup and lid, a large pitcher with a pour spout lid, and a medium-sized chopper pitcher and lid. Basically, covering all major bases. When it's time to clean, everything effortlessly disassembles and is easy to hand wash. Just watch your fingers on the blades. Also, it is dishwasher safe if you prefer that cleaning method; however, I highly recommend handwashing the lids. The only drawbacks I found is that I cannot use any of my previous generation attachments, such as my zucchini noodle attachment. Also, the suction cups on the bottom lack a quick release mechanism. That said, It works great and I would recommend it.

So Much More Than Just A Blender

If you are looking to save some space on your kitchen counters or cupboard this could be just the thing you need. My counter is usually cluttered with different appliances and this has helped my kitchen look so much nicer since it has replaced three different small appliances I had out on the counter. The Ninja UltraCrush Kitchen System is a blender, food processor and smoothie/frozen drink maker all in one. The system comes with the 1500w base, huge 72 oz. pitcher/blender and lid, an 8 cup food processor bowl and lid, an 18 oz single serve cup, the Total Crushing blade, Pro Extractor blades, and the chopping blade assembly. The pitcher and ice crushing blade has made a big difference. I can make frozen margaritas for the adults and flavorful ices for the kids. The power from this system has made these types of drinks effortlessly. I hadn’t had a snow cone in ages and it will easily turn ice into snow in seconds. I had forgotten how good they actually are. The 18 oz single serve cup is great for making my morning smoothie. The lid that comes with it is great when you are on the go or doing your workout. The 8 cup food processor will chop and puree with ease. I have made fresh salsa and I had no uneven bits and it didn’t over process like some machines do. I just have to have tortilla chips and salsa with my margaritas. The system can be a bit noisy, but with the power this has, it is no surprise. What blender or food processor isn’t noisy? Clean up is a breeze as most of the attachments are dishwasher safe. Overall I have replaced three different small appliances with this one system. I keep the base on the counter with the food processor attached and just keep the single serve cup and pitcher in the cupboard. The quality and ease of use has made this my new go-to blender plus system. I would highly recommend it. It being such a space saver on my counter is a big plus.

Reliable and effective, Ninja does blenders right

INTRODUCTION: I love smoothies (and frozen margaritas) and wanted to start making them at home, but I didn’t have a blender. So, when the opportunity came to get one, this was the model I chose. I have had the Ninja – UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System for a week now, and so far, I am not regretting my decision to pick this blender. For starters, Ninja’s blenders typically last a few years and have a decent amount of power. From my family’s experience, this company makes reliable blenders; they just work exactly as you need them to do, period. While my mother and sister have owned multiple Ninja products over the years, this is my first blender, so I was excited to try it out. PROS: The blades are huge and sharp, clearly designed for quickly crushing ice as the name suggests. The blender itself is fast, it takes seconds to chop and blend contents, which matters if you’re impatient (like me) or simply in a rush. Two to three minutes or less is usually all you need, depending on the recipe. A big pro is that the blender is easy to clean. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe (which is standard for most Ninja blenders), and if you choose to clean it manually, all it takes is a squirt of dish soap and adding some hot water to the pitcher, mount it to the base and turn it on for a minute or two, and it basically cleans itself. All you need to do afterwards is rinse out the soapy water then dry it and voila, it’s clean and ready to go for future use. To clean the base, you just need a damp towel to wipe it down. Another pro is that the blender comes with a large food processor in addition to the pitcher. The food processor is perfect for making salsa, hummus, chunky tomato sauce, some meat sauces, and any other dips and sauces you desire. This model also includes an 18-oz cup that converts into a travel tumbler which is convenient for taking a breakfast shake or smoothie on the go. Unlike some other Ninja blenders, the UltraCrush doesn’t have dedicated “smoothie” or “crush” buttons. Instead, the UltraCrush has “total crushing power” buttons that are labeled by speed: low, medium, high, and max. The high setting is probably best for making drinks. The medium setting is probably best for using the food processor, depending on what ingredients you use, while the max setting is best for making thick smoothies with chunkier ingredients. CONS: If you are thinking of getting this model, make sure you have the space for it. I personally hate the size of it; it’s huge and takes up a lot of my counter space, but people with larger kitchens might not have this issue. It’s also heavy to lift, with the base estimated to weigh almost 15 pounds, so if you have physical limitations that will make picking up and moving the blender an issue, I don’t recommend this model for you. There are also suction cups on the bottom of the base, and they are strong. I almost panicked and thought they were stuck to my counter when I tried to slide the machine over; it was that hard to move! Also, the 72-oz pitcher is tall and bulky, and the 8-cup food processor is wide and bulky, so make sure you consider where you’re going to store the attachments prior to purchasing this blender. I recommend going to the store to see the Ninja – UltraCrush in person first and making your determination then. The size will be more of an issue for people with small kitchens and/or limited space to store large appliances. Speaking of storage cons, another con for me is that after you set up the blender and secure the lid to the pitcher, once you remove the lid, you can’t push the lid’s handle back down ever again. The handle on the lid stays up perpetually except for when it’s attached to the pitcher. Apparently, this is a safety mechanism, but it makes storing the unit difficult unless I store the pitcher with the lid on it. This feature is odd to me and very annoying. Fresh out the box, the lid’s handle is completely down and locked in place, but as soon as you lift the handle up, the only way to get it to go back down again is to attach it to the pitcher. This isn’t the only Ninja blender with this feature, so it must be standard for them. I personally think they should re-think this design. I also find it a little hard to turn and lock the accessories in place into the base, but I think with additional usage, that will cease to be a problem. CONCLUSION: Size and quirky lids aside, this blender is powerful, fast, and efficient. The Ninja – UltraCrush is safe to use and simple to clean. Aesthetically, it looks nice on your kitchen counter and does remind me of something a professional chef might use. It’s a Ninja product so it’s reliable and will likely last you a while. I think if you are someone that likes to cook and entertain, you will get a lot of use out of this. It’s great for making large batches of margaritas, daiquiris, mudslides, and even milkshakes; while the pitcher is heavy, its lid includes a spout that makes it easier to pour out the contents. If you are a single person that doesn’t have the time in the morning for breakfast, use this to make a smoothie or protein shake. If its size is not an issue for you, the Ninja – UltraCrush is a great purchase. I also think it makes a great gift for the “chefs” in your life.

The Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System in Machine Gray is the ultimate all in one blender, food processor, and smoothie maker to go. It comes with an extra large 72 oz. pitcher, an 8 cup processor bowl, an 18 oz. single serve cup, perfect for smoothies on the go. The containers are easy to clean and can even be washed in the dishwasher. The UltraCrush has 1500 watts of power with Total Crushing Technology to be able to crush just about anything you decide to put in it. Not only is it powerful, it run smooth and quiet compared to other blenders I have used in the past. It instantly goes through ice and frozen fruit. When I first tested it out, I filled the pitcher full of ice, and hit "Low". The ice instantly became like snow. My wife was very excited when the UltraCrush arrived. She quickly put the food processor bowl to work making home made bread crumbs for chicken. She also likes the ability to make a smoothie, and drink it from the same container, making less of a mess to clean up later on. But she does sometimes put her smoothies into a insulated tumbler to keep the smoothie cold for longer periods of time. We've also made some margaritas, which were phenomenal. Overall I'm very impressed with the Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System.

The Ninja - UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System is remarkable. It comes with a very small (Says 18 Oz) cup for your personal smoothie, a food processor style container, and of course, the big blender style container. Getting it all out of the box was a breeze, and figuring out which parts goes to what, was pretty simple, even without using the instructions, which you should always read. After I placed my frozen fruit, some water, and protein powder into the personalized size cup, I set it to low. The Ninja turned that frozen fruit into a puree like it was nothing. I mean, in less than 5 seconds, I had a super smoothie ready to go. Later on in the day, I needed my second shake, so I proceeded to double up the amount of fruit, water, and of course, protein. I was impressed. I did use pulse on this one, and it did great. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Ninja, and I’m astonished at how well it does without an ounce of fight. Oh, one last thing, the bottom of it does have suction cups, which is a plus, unless you’re trying to move it out of the way one-handed while in the other hand you have hot food. So be aware of that. Overall, great, and I love this thing. I use it daily, multiple times a day.

So Ninja just keeps making stuff we didn't know we needed. I will start with the pros and the cons later. Pros: Mini cup blender. Love that I can make a single server smoothie and hit the road with the included travel lid. Helps with the budget so I don't stop by a convenience store and buy a smoothie on the way home from work. The processor is clutch for making bread and pretty much anything else. It runs smooth as silk. Onions didn't stand a chance in it. It also has a nice hole in the top to be able to add liquids in it while blending. The blender is pretty big and good for all kinds of delicious drinks. I was able to mix a bad batch of rice and beans (black beans never got soft after cooking them for 6 hours. It has suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place. Cons: Well it is not quiet but what blender is? You are going to need additional storage space because of the extra accessories but outside of that I can't find any fault with this unit. All in all this is a solid pickup. I would definitely recommend buying this.

This is one very powerful machine than makes frozen beverages perfectly. It also does a pretty good job of both chopping vegetables and juicing them. I've been very impressed so far but as it's from Ninja I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. it's got one very powerful motor but that leads to my one and only complaint about this mixer/blender/crusher and that is it's rather loud. It includes several accessories that make it more useful for different things. The main container/blender/crusher is great for making stuff from perfect frozen beverages to using it as a plain blender. The smaller one is perfect for smaller "batch' uss for when you don't need s lot. The smallest is perefect for a simple fruit smoothie. The fact that Ninja included all these different attachments show just how thoughtful the company can be for making the most of your purchase. Just like everything else I've gotten from Ninja this kitchen system provides both ease os usse and the perfect utility for the kitchen. I'm rather happy and satisfied.

I have been using the Ninja UltraCrush Professional Kitchen System for a few days, and it has already become one of my favorite appliances at home. It was very easy to set up, and cleaning it afterward is just as simple, which makes it even more convenient to use regularly. I have used it with both dry and wet ingredients, and everything has come out exactly the way I wanted. Whether I am blending, crushing, or processing, it delivers smooth and consistent results every time. The 2-horsepower motor, at 1500 watts, delivers impressive performance in this kitchen system. It easily crushes ice into snow in the XL 72-ounce pitcher, which is perfect for smoothies, frozen drinks, and other blended recipes. The four speed settings give me better control depending on what I am making, and the 18-ounce single-serve cup is great when I want something quick to take on the go. Another feature I appreciate is that the cups can be used for different purposes, making this system very versatile. With its strong performance, convenience, and easy cleanup, this is a wonderful blender and food processor to have at home.

This a complete blender set revolved around "crushing" food items. Whether it's ice, or fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, this set has the capabilities to execute the task. Starting with the motor itself, it is a simple and user friendly interface. I like the four speed setting with the addition of a pulse button. Each speed setting is on a 60sec timer that turns off automatically, which is good that the base has suction cup feet that keep it down during operation. The blender pitcher has a 72 oz capacity, good for smoothies and slushies for the family. The 8-cup (64 oz) food processor is perfect for aiding in prepping meals. The 18 oz single serve cup is ideal for a shake or smoothie on the go. The blender and processor lids are not interchangeble and they do lock open for easy pours. My issue is the lids don't close back until they are back on the body of the pitcher or processor. The blades of this set are very sharp and capable of handling a lot of solid foods, and even comes with a recipe book. This is gold!
