3ds XL is awesome. Its great for the kids or adults. So many great games available for this system to keep you busy!

My son who is 7 has not set this down until I get him to take a break from it.Makes a car trip nice and pain free for me. He even brags about it to people he meets. I can take it anywhere and the battery life is pretty good. He loves it plain and simple and it was a great gift for him. I dont know what he would have enjoyed more

With Nintendo's 3DS XL your getting the best gaming handheld out there. The Nintendo 3DS XL also has a bigger screen size. This was a gift for a family member but I already own one also and I just love it. Mind you I'm a huge Playstation fan and I also own a PS Vita which is great but I always come back to my 3DS. Why? More games and more fun. Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong etc.. And it plays older " less expensive" DS games also. Great fun games you and your family can enjoy.

This is my second one that I bought , my first one I gave 2 grandson. Love the big screen, the console is the best.

The size is great for handling. My children love the 3-D option and the clarity of the screen display is very good.

got it for my son for Christmas and so far he has not put it down. It's had lots of use so far and still working flawlessly. battery life 3-4 hours constant use. Pinpoint calibration for the pen . And don't forget to do price match I got it $149.99

Ever since Mario Tennis on the Virtual Boy, I've always thought 3D gaming is a gimmick. It causes headaches, it darkens the picture, and it's a power drain. That being said, this handheld is spectacular. It turns out Nintendo was decades ahead of its time. With the slider, you can turn the 3D up or down or off entirely, but you would be cheating yourself if you didn't try it every chance you get. It is incredible 3D. The battery is dismal in comparison to previous iterations, but that can easily be managed by moderating 3D usage and internet connection. Augmented Reality cards come in the box and provide a few hours of actual gaming and, paired with the pre-installed games, make it feel like you bought a fully furnished house with a finished basement. On top of that, you can download demos of countless games from classic to upcoming to indie for free. There's a built in web browser which may be lacking to many, but that's because they're forgetting how crazy awesome it is to have the internet on a Game Boy (basically). It's also a huge asset when you're stuck on a particular level - you can pause, go back to the home screen, fire up the browser, look up a walkthrough, and go back to the game without missing a beat. If you're worried it's too much for you, don't. I had my technologically challenged mother try out an AR game and she picked it up like it was nothing. I had my five year old nephew try one and it blew his mind. If you're worried about the price point, don't. The extra bit pays for itself before you even buy your first game and will continue to pay off in time. Even if you don't play games on it it still has nifty fitness tracking features, Netflix capabilities, the entire internet, and doubles as a 3D flashlight. Did I mention you can take standard AND 3D pictures and video?

I purchased this gaming system for my son but I was very impressed with the graphics and games that are available.

Big or small get it all. Got for my son's 8th birthday along with Super Mario game. I shot off 3ds for now, until he gets older. He just loves it , so do I. As well as our entire family too. Makes a great gift. Right size screen, easy to follow instructions.

The larger size is very nice, and there's an extensive selection of games.

It's a great console for everyone. Easy to set up and use, plus you can turn the 3D off if it makes you nauseous.

My kid loves it and Nintendo has all the classics. Mario, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon and much more. 3D is nice too.

The 3ds xl is a dream for gamers like myself. It's easy to play, has beautiful graphics and has a large expanding library of games. I highly recommend the XL. The screen alone is worth it. Be sure however to buy a case for this since I managed to drop mine a few times. Overall a terrific system! Nintendo has done it again!

Was actually looking for the old DS but found this new bigger version. Excellent buy. No complaints from my son.

My son loves it. The graphics are very good. The sound is a bit low. Overall it is a very good portable console.

It looks super nice the 3d feature is awesome its so much fun to play online with friends and I highly recommend

The 3DS is awesome. The library of games for it has really fleshed out recently with things like Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion. I love to just kick back and play it for a few hours. The large screen looks beautiful and the 3D really does add a lot.

The upgraded screen was the selling point for us. A little does go a long way bought for little brother for Christmas he loves his Nintendo 3ds xl. Bonus the wifi capability camera and little extras quite a step up from when we had a game boy.
