The 3DS XL is the ultimate version of the 3DS line of handhelds. Offering two large high quality screens, 3D capability, an amazing software lineup and a nice collection of apps, the 3DS XL is the culmination of Nintendo's handhelds in a great package. The only issues I have are the finish collecting fingerprints and the fact that the 3D effect has a small viewing angle.

Great graphics and game play, will definitely take you back to your childhood

I purchased the Nintendo - 3DS XL for one of my sons under duress, he has gone through so many portable game machines that kept his interest at most a week that I didn't want to waist another dime. We bought a few games and to my surprise he can't put it down. This machine is what every parent needs, it's rugged, functions better than advertised, and reasonably priced, now my only problem is getting him to put it down. He liked it so much it made his younger brother jealous and as many of you parents know, there's very little sharing in video games so I had to buy another.

The large screen is great, the batteries last longer than the older versions and it feels pretty durable. It is larger overall which is good because it is less likely to fall out of your pocket and you won't notice... which is what happened with the previous one.

This was the #1 gift on our 17 yea old sons Christmas list lol! This kid has everything from the newest playstation's and xbox's to computers and brand new car, so when he asked for the 3DS we laughed and thought he is too old he must be joking, but nope he plays it all the time between school and work and I even catch my husband playing it lol! The 3D graphics are pretty cool too!

This is great fun and has cool 3d. You can play with other that have one too.

Its a wonderful device. Great battery. Easy to use. And just overall a wonderful device in the hand. And get the 2 year accidental just in case, because all they do i just switch it out for a new one.

My son likes it so much. it is convenient to play. he can take it anywhere.

So far there has been no problems and our son loves it. It is easy to use.

For the longest time, I was on the fence whether I should buy a DSi XL or not. My eyesight is pretty bad in that on a regular ds screen, I have trouble reading some texts in several games. The bigger screen definitely improves the experience. I have not tested the battery life on this system and people who care about image quality may notice problems associated with the enlargement of the visuals, such as jagged pixels and other things. I personally have not noticed any of these problems.

Definitely better to get the XL over other ones. Girlfriend loves it.
