I'm a big gamer and own many systems but I held out buying the original 3DS. The 3D sweet spot seemed small, the battery life seemed low, the ergonomics were not great and the game selection was not enticing. But now that the 3DS XL is out, it solves all of those problems while the library of games has grown to include great titles like Super Mario 3D Land and Luigi's Mansion 2. it's a great time to buy a 3DS XL and this blue unit is really attractive.

I loved the idea of 3D without glasses, but I thought the original 3DS felt and looked cheap. Combine that with awful battery life and tiny screens, and I was content to wait for the redesign. I was not disappointed. They fixed pretty much everything I didn't like about the original. In addition to what I mentioned above, StreetPass is surprisingly fun.

This was the hit of the Christmas gifts. And it was fun hiding the 3DS games -- so he thought there wasn't anything to play with. The extra large screen made the difference. AAA+

I though my kids would not like the larger screen due to size & not being able to carry in their pockets. They LOVE the bigger screens, and the size is not an issue for them.

Great portable System for a great price too bad the new 3DS comes out right after this one and nobody knew it but it's okay I can wait a little bit to get a new one and thanks

My son tripped and broke his last DS. We exchanged it for this one and Its just as awesome.

The 3ds xl is more enjoyable and has a way bigger screen than the normal 3ds'. My little sister has one of each now and she says she loves the bigger screen for her games.

The Nintendo 3DS LX has a larger screen which is easier to see and game on. The 3D screen makes the games more lifelike without needing special glasses. My son loves it!

My daughter loves her 3ds! She seldom puts It down!

I bought this for my five yr old grandson and he plays with every day. It so convenient to take everywhere to keep him occupied in our travels or just on the couch.

It's a lot of fun playing with the 3ds xl and the bigger screens are a nice added touch. The 3d is amazing and though the screens are stretched it's difficult to notice the difference between this and the original 3ds unless you're looking for it in terms of pixels. The only thing that worries me is the circle pad breaking because at times I would put a lot of pressure onto it when things become intense during a game.

I bought this item for my son for Christmas since his old DS was kicking the bucket. What a great device. The screen size is amazing and makes portable gaming fun.

I can take this everywhere I go, especially for the kids to keep them busy. Its fun quick. and small so no trouble carrying it around in a purse or a small bag.

I have had my 3dsXL for a few weeks and it has already been worth the money. It is a great system with great graphics and I cannot wait to buy some more of the great games that are in the systems library. The price of the system is very reasonable and features like a virtual console and wifi make the 3ds even more of a good deal.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it.. He is a Nintendo fan. He loves the newer size because he can put it in his pocket whenever we go places.

Bought for a seven year old to replace a regular 3ds. The bigger screens are really nice and double the size of the memory card lets him download more games.

Everything on it is bigger than the original 3ds. It's not too big but not too small either. It's the perfect size. I enjoyed it and my brother did too.

My daughters words: It is a wonderful Nintendo 3ds xl to play on and to take pictures with. I love it when you can see in 3D. As you can see, she loves it.
