    COMPACT AND CLUTTER-FREE

This product is small and compact, which is dramatically different compared to the original. Makes it great for traveling. Having the MANY games pre-installed also makes this product great, as you avoid the clutter of cartridges. Kids love it and entertains them on bad-weather days. We have no issues with the length of the controller cord, but ours is set up on a Lego table for kids. So I would say, depending on your set-up situation...it could or could not be an issue. I would suggest purchasing an extra controller, unless you plan on playing games by yourself.

Almost perfect, what a rush to bring back so many games in one small package for such a low price. Controller cord is ridiculously too short and there’s no way to add more games, but other than that it’s perfect.

I loved the original NES when I was a kid. My brother and I spent countless hours on many of the titles included in this little console. The selection of games is great, and the console is so small you could take it with you if you wanted to. Plus, it's powered by USB cable so it doesn't even need an AC adapter and outlet close by. My only complaint is that there is only one controller included, and the wire for the controller is so short that you have to sit practically right next to the console to play.

The mini Nintendo NES is a must have for anyone who grew up playing the original Nintendo in the late 80s/early 90s. The game selection is pretty diverse, and while there's a few personal favorites that are missing...there's more than enough for just about anyone to enjoy. The only downside would be the length of the cord (extremely short so buy an extension) and the inability to add games at a later date. But otherwise it's a great product at a great value. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one!

Growing up with a NES in my house I knew I had to get this. The nostalgia is great and the game lineup was well thought out. The controller cords are too short yes. And there’s only one controller. These are both some of the reasons I think the SNES classic is better by comparison. However, there is no better way to play many of these legendary games such as Mario 3. You could spend hours upon hours playing through these titles and reminiscing of the old days.

I love this little gaming console and it has a great selection of games on it. I only gave it four stars because the cords are so dang short. I got a ten foot HDMI cord so I don't have to sit at my television. I am going to order longer connections from Amazon, but it would be nice if Nintendo thought this out. Seriously, not even a child would want to sit that close to the TV to play. Most TV's are not on the floor. I can hook the USB to my computer to power it when using the 10 foot HDMI, but it is hard to keep it stable because the little gaming unit is so lightweight. Overall, though I do enjoy playing the old games without pulling out my NES and without changing cartridges.

Before we begin I must confess to being a "Nintendo Fan Boy". I grew up playing on the Original NES and subsequent SNES. My brother and I would spend hours playing on them, particularly when a new premier titles were released like any of the Super Marion Bros or Zelda games. When we grew up and my parents were cleaning the house to downsize, by brother was the one who got the old game systems and I was left out. When Nintendo announced the NES Classic Edition, I knew I would be getting it without a second thought. After purchasing it I primarily played it myself but managed to talk my than 11 year old son into giving it a try. Before we knew it hours had passed as my son and I fell into the same routine my brother and I once had, playing until one of us died and passing the controller to the other for their turn. It now also gets played at large family gatherings where my brother and I still play as if we are children ourselves again, and watch with smiles as our children now play on it together. If I had to say on negative thing, the comment would not be about NES Classic Edition itself but that Nintendo has announced they are done doing classic edition consoles and we are not going to see an N64 Classic Edition.

This started the whole mini consoles trend and good thing too! The system itself is so cute and compact. All the cables needed to plug in is there and has 30 games. For the actual retail price it was a fair price but I only wished they already contained a second controller. Buying another controller from nintendo or a third party isn't too bad but I also wished the length of the controller cable was longer as well. Other then those little pet peeves and gripes honestly plays great and perfect any retro gaming collector out there. Highly recommend and hope they bring it back out for sale!

A great little system that bundles some of the best games of the NES era. Relive your childhood memories! Great quality and sturdily made. Controller length is short, but there are extensions to remedy that or other 3rd party options. Affordable at only $60. The issue has been finding one. If you have the opportunity to snag one, do not let it pass you up. It is well worth the money and rumored to be discontinued (with a rumor of a snes one in the works!)

Great console!!!! As a kid who grew up playing NES I was really excited when this was announced. I'm glad Best Buy was able to continually stock more. The device is palm top sized and a cute little replica of the original. The controller has a short cable but the power/HDMI cables are long enough to make up for it. The games included are a nice variety so everyone should have something they like. The hardest part has been finding a second controller.

The nostalgia is real! I cannot get enough of this gaming system! There are so many classic games to choose from with the greatest of the mario games and so many vintage games I never had the chance to play before. The only drawback is how short the controller cords are, but there are plenty of options to upgrade. I debated buying this for over a year and I'm so glad I finally got one.

I mean what can I say about this system. I played it when I was 4 years old and loved it so much that I just had to have this classic edition. It doesn’t disappoint at all. All the games are gems, yes I love some more than other but they are all so cool to play in this little replica, just so much fun. I won’t complain about the short chord nor that it only comes with one controller, it’s fine I bought an extension for the controller and bought a second controller that has a longer chord, i spent like 20 more for that but it’s fine. I love it so much, so if you love Nintendo is a must have!

I'm very happy with this. This is exactly what I need to preserve some of my favorite games as backups should my regular NES stop working and I need to buy a new one or If I don't feel like blowing into cartridges. I'd say $60 for 30 games that are ready to go and not limited to the virtual console for Wii U that could eventually stop working at some point or if it gets stolen, is a bargain and a lifesaver. I don't want to make retropies, that's too much work for me and the thought of it bores me when I can just buy it already done for me. Don't pay more than retail price for this. These are no longer hard to come by, I've seen them at several stores, so if you want one, there's no excuse why you can't come across one unless you're in the middle of nowhere. You might have to call stores or show up early but if you want one, it's certainly not Impossible to find. I bought an extra one as a gift on a busy Sunday evening and they still had plenty just sitting there. It's easy to use, fun to play and not just for nostalgia, (some of us actually do play these regularly) and you might have to play close to the tv but most of our parents put up with it when they were our age now and they still had fun with it, people need to stop acting entitled and complaining about something that is not a big deal. Get a chair, take a seat, and stop being prissy.

This Nintendo entertainment system brings back the classic games played in the 80s & 90s. It comes with 30 preinstalled popular games. No more cartridges! It's an excellent mini game system where you can take anywhere. It's an easy plug and play and comes with the included hdmi. All you need is a TV. Highly recommend for those who loves the classic video games of the past.

It brings back some childhood memories! It’s small and compact so storing it doesn’t take up space. Set up is extremely easy. Only thing I wished was it had more games. Don’t get me wrong it has a lot pre-loaded, but there are other games that were made for the SNES that are much better. But Zelda is loaded on there, Super Mario is loaded and a few other awesome games.

There's plenty of games on this compact unit which make it great! I'm glad they had more of these in stock, it's easy to setup. The cable is short for the controller, so if you plan on connecting it to say, a living room tv, expect to purchase the adapters to length it. Good for a small space if you'd like to use it right out of the box.

I'm loving this mini nes console. Some great classic games on this lil thingy. Con: controller wires way to short ( easy fix with extended wires ) , getting up to rest the game , and 1 controller. Pros: the quality. easy to use, the games with like no lag. And the memories you can share with the kids

30 games for $60 is a great deal, and the console is super tiny and adorable. The only downside is the single controller included and the controller cable is way too short. But I make it work with a longer HDMI cable so I can still sit far enough away from the TV. The music and graphics are superb and a great way to relive my childhood.

This was the best thing the Nintendo could do. They put all of their great classics into one tiny machine that can literally be brought anywhere you travel. You do need to buy a second controller but that's nothing compared to the hours of classic game play you will get out this tiny machine.

So I was shopping for other things and finally saw they had this in stock. While I still have my original NES, I could not resist this due to the great selection of games on it. Easy to hookup, easy to use. My biggest complaint is the length of the controller cords. Unless you are hooking this up to a monitor on a desk or you do want to play pretty close to your TV, the cord is way too short. Also why can't they add a second controller! The SNES classic did! Oh well, still fun to play!
