It was awesome to play the old games again without buying a refurbished NES. The games play and sound the same, so they nailed it. Yes, the controller cord is as short as everyone says, but if you have a long HDMI cable you can get some distance that way, or get a wireless. Brings back many memories !

Other than the controller cord being to short this is a perfect gaming system for anyone looking to bring back childhood memories or introduce your child to Nintendo. Games play just like the old ones. Havent had any issues within the first month.

This is a really neat idea from Nintendo. It just wasn't executed as well as it should have been. The 30 preloaded games are awesome, and if that is all you are looking for, definitely don't hesitate to buy. Nintendo should have allowed for the addition of more titles. Also, the cords are comically short. Make sure you get extenders if you don't plan on standing 2 feet in front of the television

This product was definitely worth the wait. It wasn't too expensive and my brother seemed to enjoy it so much. It works well. The only thing I do wish is that it came with more games or that you could buy other games for it like with other consoles.

But once I got my hands on this system I was amazed! I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity in getting one of these systems. What is not to like? 30 classic games all in 1080. It's a beautiful thing and I can not wait for the SNES Classic.

I love my NES Mini. I am glad I stayed in line early in the morning to get it. I have not had any hiccups with it at all. The downside is the One controller that comes with it you have to buy an extension for it.. other than that I'm in love with it

This is the thing to get to re-live old memories playing NES games in higher quality. Once you've filled up on playing the included games you can Mod the system and add a ton more, and still be able to use the features in the UI.

It's like 1988 all over again. It's been great reliving all these memories and sharing them with my kids. Simple to use, plug it it to power and HDMI and that's it. Interface is easy to use. Well worth it to relive the memories.

We just recently started letting our 5 year old start playing video games and this console is perfect for a new gamer. Plus, my husband has fun playing the old school games with him. We bought longer cords for remotes. The only thing that would make it better was if there was a way to get to “home” from the remote instead of having to push button on the console.

The NES classic is great if you really enjoyed the NES era of games. It has 30 games on it so make sure to check if there are games you will enjoy. It only comes with one controller so be sure to grab a second one if you want to play with Player 2. The controllers are wired so remember that. An awesome buy for people who had a great time with the NES.

Love the NES classic. It's small, easy set up, do I even have to mention all the games on it? Only thing I don't like is the controllers 2 foot wire. I don't remember the original controller with that shoe of a wire. Other than that it's AWESOME!!!

I love this NES Classic. I only hope that there will be a way to add more games in the future. As the connection is there for a USB cable for power to the device; it is possible that this same port would make it capable of software updates. The only other issue that concerns me is the cord length for the controller. 3 feet! Really? All above said; I love it despite the drawbacks.

I'M SO MIND BLOWN ABOUT THE CONTROLLERS CORD LENGTH... 3-4X SHORTER THAN THE ORIGINAL... AND NO YOU CANT USE THE ORIGINAL ONE... SO, REALLY NINTENDO, YOU COULDN'T HAVE MADE THE CONTROLLER CORD LONGER... IM BASICLY SITTING ON TOP OF THE TV TO PLAY IT... I CAN HEAR MY MOTHER YELLING AT ME, YOU'RE SITTING TOO CLOSE... MOVE BACK!! HAHA HA...BUT STILL A GOOD PRODUCT

I have always loved the classic Nintendo system. My kids have grown up playing the newer systems. However when we got this the kids started to love the older stuff. They play it all the time. It is really enjoyed in the house.

There are not really many things that need to be said about the NES Classic. If you grew up with the original NES, then this is a must have. If you didn't, then be wary, gaming has come a very long way and a 2 button controller might confuse you!

Some of the most classic, and difficult games I played as a kid are here. From the campy retro music on the game selection screen to the CTR Filter display option, it's a step back into childhood. The controller could've used a longer cord though.

I remember having this console in the 80s and 90s and man it was a blast to have it again, small and simply everything in HD! Cannot go wrong with this console as it is simply the best of all NINTENDO ever made!

Quality retro games console that anyone playing in the 80s and 90s will enjoy. Younger generations who love the simpler retro life will also have a great time playing! Make sure you buy an extension cable for the controller!!
