Mother always loved her tetris and Dr Mario and was constantly asking me to hook up the old Nintendo. When I finally got this ordered and setup. She was in heaven. Dad said all he hears is Tetris. I guess she loves it :)

Nostalgia and all, growing up in the 80s, this was a must buy to experience it all over again! Also great way to get my kids started with old-school games! Need to buy an extra controller and cable extensions. Rock on!

the NES classic is a lot of fun...some excellent games included in the package. very easy set up and play...only negative is the short 3foot cord on the controller...easily over come with an adapter or wireless controller.

Even though there were several games I loved that aren’t on this it’s awesome to have some of the greats all in one without having to store a bunch of cartridges. Also nice and compcoand does not take up a lot of space.

Okay, I was already familiar with all the limitations behind this game system and already aware of the extra short cables, but just being able to feel like I am revisting my youth in a modern day form...it's awesome. Yes, I had to get the authentic Nintendo version. Yes, there is the raberry pi or other chinese knockoffs, but having the authentic version just makes me appreciate being one of the first gaming systems to spur on competition and help evolve gaming into what we know today. NES was the first time I had gaming addiction, even as much as I loved the atari 2600 or 5200 or even the other systems that proceeded those. At 59.99 retail, it is worth it just for the novelty of gaming and must have for all gamers and non-gamers who remember. #KnowYourRoots

Kids love it and it’s great to share the games that my wife and I grew up with kids. ....and we’re still better at them than the kids are. Probably the only video games we can beat them in.

A lot of great titles are preloaded to this, they could have switched a few out better titles but all in all it is good. One issue is you have to go to the unit itself to select another game when you want to switch

Bought this beauty for my Son..... Ok for me and my husband and we all love it! Only complaint is the controller that it comes with is on a super short cord :(

I wish it comes with two controllers and with longer cords. The games are just like the old games. It's super cool and brought back good old memories. It's a nice game console or gift if you can get your hands on at the regular price.

30 NES games all in one tiny package, although I wish all of Nintendo's black box games were represented here. (Where's Clu Clu Land?) Invest in extension cables because the controller cables are short as all get out.

I wasn't expecting much from this, but the games are timeless! I had a lot of fun playing the games I played during my childhood. The graphics look great on an HDTV and I am really glad I got this. My kids love it too!

This 30 game NES mini is well worth the 50 dollar price tag. Many of the RPGs included provide days gameplay, making 50 dollar well worth the return in entertainment. However, the single detractor is the single game paddle... why only one when the mini has two player games? Second controllers can be purchased, but it would be better if system came with 2.

Definitely brings back childhood memories playing games like Super Mario Bros., Castlevania and Punch-Out. I would recommend it to people that grew up with playing Nintendo, and for newbies that haven't played it yet.

It was great to play some of the old games from when I was growing up through our modern TV, it comes with 30 games and my only complaint is I wish it came with more. There was probably hundreds of choices and to only include 30 seems kind of cheap. Hopefully they offer some kind of a downloadable expansion to add more games or something.

I have to say, it's great to be able to go back to my younger years and share the fun of playing some of the most iconic games of their day. My kids and I have made a weekly family evening playing games together.

After hooking up the NES Classic (almost 2yrs after it first came out), it brought back so many memories. A lot of fun playing the classic games of my youth. The only drawback is that it only comes with one controller and the cord is so short. The SNES Classic changed that and in my opinion makes the SNES slightly better. Overall though a lot of fun.

This was harder to find than I thought but I'm glad I finally got my hands on one. All the games are just as good as I remember, but even better on a nice TV. I hope Nintendo rolls something out that enables the system to have more games.

I remember getting the original and my excitement was almost on par! The family and I love it!! I only wish Nintendo had done the right thing so we didn’t have to wait two years to get one thanks to all of the scalpers.

I was really looking forward to this game system. It plays well and does not freeze up like the original did. There is a bit of a lag between the controller and the response on screen. Also, the controller cords are SO SHORT it's ridiculous! You can buy an extension, but given that I've just purchased a game console, I think that's asking a bit much.

I bought the NES Classic for my girlfriend, thinking it would be a nostalgic gift from our younger years. Turns out we simply can't stop playing it, which is exactly why it was such a powerhouse back in the 80's! Sooooo worth the $65.00!!
