I bought it 2 months ago with the intention of using it as a daily commute vehicle because my work is only about 1.5 miles from home. It's fast enough to get me to work in just 3 minutes and slow enough to keep me safe! The top speed is 25 mph and I weigh about 200lbs and the scooter still maxes out at 23 mph which is really not bad! It brings a completely new, fun and wonderful experience to ride ! The scooter's appearance is very modern and sporty! When I get to work I just fold the scooter and it's completely neat and very convenient when you find a place to store it! The thing is that because it doesn't have a suspension system, the chassis is a bit low. On rough roads, it shocks a bit and makes you feel not very smooth, but in return the ability to go uphill is quite good. ! I usually plug in the charger in the evening and by morning the battery is full and it's enough for me to travel from home to work for 1 week, it's great to save gas when I don't have to use my car! It doesn't have left or right turn signals, just 2 small red lights at the back and the headlights aren't strong enough, but that's not a problem as I can buy additional lights on Amazon All in all, it is a great scooter for beginners. In the entry level , this is an extremely worthy choice, from appearance to performance it will meet your expectations, with The 30% discount makes the scooter only $750, so why shouldn't you try it to see if it's worth the money you spent! Excellent scooter well worth the money, does 15.5mph top speed and I've had it going 18mph down hill. Long battery life as well, 25 miles in echo mode, but this reduces if in sports mode, down to about 15miles driving mostly at top speed. Very good build quality, comfortable and very easy to assemble. Just put the handle bars on and tighten up 6 hey key screws with the toll provided, charging time is around 7 hours from flat to full. and at a good price to. I would recommend this scooter to anyone for a first time scooter rider and I'm really pleased with it. I'd give it 6 stars if I could lol.

Surpassed all my expectations. Extremely well built and glides over the road. The wheels do soak up the bumps very nicely. Very happy with my purchase. The only thing I wish I could improve is the eco mode setting. It stops at 8 to 10mph. I wish you could increase that setting to a faster speed because in certain settings that throttle response is perfect. Still love the custom and sport settings which are fast off the line. Hill climbing is great as well. This is not paid review by any means. Will definitely continue to purchase Niu products.

Great little machine! Only goes it's top speed at above 90% charge but that's nothing to complain about. It still goes about 20 mph and I'm about 210 lbs and carry about 30lhs of gear with me. It charges quickly and the front and rear brakes are very strong. I should also mention it has no problem pulling fairly steep hills. I would definitely recommend!

This scooter is a great one been using it for about a year now and I can’t complain. The only thing I did not like was at the tire popped, but you can change them out for a tubeless one.

This is my first electric scooter so take this with a Grain of salt. It feels like a really solid construction and I am not worried about wear and tear overtime. I’ve put 60 miles, 100 km and have had zero issues other than my main sticking point, it does not reach the speed advertised. I am in an ongoing email conversation with NIU customer support and it has not been a heartening experience. You should also note that the speedometer on the unit consistently over estimates what the actual speed is. Even compared to the NIU app. If you are OK with only going 80 to 85% of the advertised speed then this is a good purchase. I’m already contemplating, selling and upgrading after only a month of ownership. For reference, I am 6 foot two and 205 pounds. Perhaps smaller riders would have better success, but even when going downhill, it never reaches the advertised speed.

Overall its an amazing scooter! Battery life is great youll get the 50miles. But the speed must be an error. I weight about 190-200 pounds it goes 20-21 miles on a full charge other than that I recommend it overall.

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He absolutely loved it easy to sync with the app and easy to use charged it up and it lasted all day.

My son loves it I can't get him off of it I love the app I can set the speed the Cruise control is awesome!!!!!!!!

Most everything is good about this scooter. I owned it two years now. The throttle broke and they are sending me a new one. The reason for 3 stars is the brakes. You cannot change the brake pads yourself. Unlike most scooters the brake pads are built into the calipers and so you need to change the entire calipers when the pads inside them wear out. This is way expensive with shipping it cost $80 for two of the proprietary calipers. so depending how much you ride you will be paying like $80 a year to own it. And who knows how long they will make the exact calipers for it. So this might what they call controlled obsolescence. 5 or 10 years down the road you will need to buy a new scooter if those calipers are no longer manufactured. You cannot ride the scooter without brakes so when they no longer produce the pads you are stuck with a useless scooter.

Makes my life routine easy and convenient. I can go faster to my work place.

The scooter it has a good amount of speed and its beuatiful and its easy to ride.

Really happy with the scooter. It's my first and I did a lot of research prior to the purchase. When I upgrade, my next one will definitely have blinkers and suspension like the KQI300 that was just announced.

This thing really gets up and goes. The app controlled options are user friendly and it's very easy to fold and carry with you. I would recommend this to a friend
