I used the Norton Utilities Ultimate to clean all the clutters, fixed the broken registry keys and turned off some of the apps that slowed down my computer. Afterward, I ran Norton 360 and it found that nothing had been cleaned or fixed. I did it several times and still the same. So I don't know if the Utilities Ultimate did what it was supposed to do or not. Utilities Ultimate said it's clean & 360 said it's not.

I consider myself a tech and have always thought I would be smart enough to prevent my computer from getting any malware from malicious websites or emails but it happened! I am very careful when I browse the web and open up emails. I tend to just delete anything that I do not recognize or did not solicit myself. Anyway.. long story longer, one day a website kind of hijacked my calendar and contacts on my Mac! Wild! I never thought my MacBook would be able to get hijacked by a website. So I decided I'd give Norton 360 a shot and install it onto my MacBook for some peace of mind.The fact that it comes with a year of VPN service is an added bonus! VPNs are very helpful for preventing websites from tracking you and stealing your personal and financial information. It was very quick and easy to install on Mac OS. It is lightweight and does bog down my system resources. The VPN is very easy to set up and turn on and off. One thing to mention though, is that if you plan on using this with Mac OS, you'll have to kind of dig into your system security settings to allow the software access. If you are a longtime Mac User, you already know about this. It runs in the background without slowing down my M1 MacBook Pro at all. My Mac runs just as fast as the day I first booted it up even with Norton scanning my files. The subscription comes with a year of dark web monitoring. 10 GB of cloud storage, and a password manager if you would like to have a place to store all your passwords safely. All in All, I think the Norton 360 standard plan is a great value. It provides many security services to keep you and your information safe online. You can never be too careful these days. You and I know that there is people trying to scam and steal our information every day!

I haven’t been a Symantec/Norton/NortonLifeLock user in quite some time. Over the last 30+ years they’ve certainly had some ups and downs. The good news is that the current version of Norton 360 is a solid winner. Gone are the days of security software bogging down a system – Norton 360 had minimal impact on my system performance and according to online resources, does a pretty great job at malware detection. An added benefit with this package is that it also includes Norton Utilities. This suite includes a nice list of added value with a “no-log” VPN, dark web monitoring, 10Gb of secure storage, PC cleanup, application accelerator and Drivescrubber – a utility for permanently erasing sensitive data from your computer. I find the number of alerts generally irritating – whether advertising for other Norton products, features or service messages. By no means is Norton the worst either. I’ve used other comparable products with far more, but even so, I don’t like being advertised with constant add-ons and upsells. Overall, the whole suite is a top performer. If you plan to go with the added security of a 3rd party security package you won’t be disappointed in the 2022 iteration of Norton 360.

Installing the software and using it really couldn't be easier. It's honestly one of the simplest setups I've done on any software. While being able to get started quick is great, how it works once its installed is what really matters. One big pro with this software is that it comes with just about every security option you could need. From standard malware protection, to dark web monitoring, a VPN and more. As far as overall protection for your computer, Norton continues to provide the same standard of protection as it always has, although some of it may be redundant with what most OSs already provide. It still definitely gives you a bit more peace of mind and control. The dark web monitoring is interesting as well. Within a couple minutes of getting everything setup I already got an alert about one of my email addresses being found on the dark web. I'll admit it was a scary alert to get, but it wasn't anything I didn't already know about as the email address was one that was involved in a data leak where the hacked company had alerted all of its users to. And the info tied to it wasn't anything overly sensitive. Neither of those features however are the reason I wanted to get this software. It's the VPN that I really wanted, and for a specific reason and use. That use being that I was going on a 2 week road trip where the first week I'd be working remote out of my RV. To do so I already got a mobile hotspot to use from my company, but I was required to get my own VPN. I've now completed that week of work and unfortunately have to say the Norton VPN didn't work at all for me. Install and enabling/disabling it is about as easy as it gets, but when it was enabled, I may as well not even had a hotspot. It's known that you sacrifice some data speed when going through a VPN, but it was so slow that trying to do just about anything online ended up with timeout errors. I tried to use it at various times throughout the week and every time I was forced to disable it. Luckily, I was able to figure something out to allow me to actually work, but it wasn't anything to do with this Norton Software. At least it still does what its supposed to when it comes to protecting my laptop in other ways, but since the VPN is what I really needed I won't be renewing my subscription after the included year.

So far I am very happy with my Norton Utilities Ultimate. It has cleaned out a lot of junk from my computer. Which I needed because it was running a little slow.

CHEAPER THAN AT NORTON RENEWAL OR NORTON WEBSITE EASY TO USE VPN IS GREAT

Ii have been using Norton for years and have always been satisfied with their PC protection and optimization products. Recently my older PC was sluggish . After running Ultimate it is running so much faster. The dashboard is simple and easy to navigate. I also like the child protection when running the 360 standard. I recommend this for your day to day protection.

Since I moved out of California to Colorado last month, I needed to do my taxes and my pc I bought at best buys back in 2012. It was infected and best buys had Norton’s on sale. As old is my computer is Norton’s got my computer cleaned up and is running 10x better then before. :D
