I picked this up on impulse, and while it doesn't do anything that you can't do with a pan and standalone silicone molds, it is a pretty nifty idea. I would recommend mixing and heating your gelatin in a saucepan, though, as making the recommended maximum of a cup of gummi mixture makes it very difficult to stir in the provided heating cup. The molds are very useful and by far the best part about this set - two for bears, one for worms, and one for fish. I'd also recommend reducing the amount of gelatin; the default recipe they provide uses a box of Jell-O (or off-brand equivalent) plus four envelopes of unflavored gelatin, and that will create some very chewy gummies. Go with three, or even two, envelopes of unflavored gelatin for a better texture. (That said, you will probably not be able to get anything close to store-bought gummy flavor/texture without finding a from-scratch recipe.)

Overall this was easy to use! The gummy bears and other products are more jello like then a real gummy bear though! Taste is good but texture is off.

My husband and kids love gummies so we bought this to make our own. It does its job however I learned later that really you can prepare the mixture quicker in the microwave. I used it once and now have only used the molds. Its a cute machine and the idea is great but I can make bigger batches on my own.

I bought the Gummy Maker primarily for my kids, but quickly learned that it is great for melting chocolate for molding candy. The removable bowl is ideal for this. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make a larger capacity bowl/unit so as to fill all the gummy molds in one batch.

The Gummy maker is a fabulous way to introduce youngsters to the kitchen. It doesn't require a lot of time so kids can see and enjoy their accomplishments fairly quick. Another plus is that the gummy treats are made with jello and gelatin hence they are a better choice than candy. The gummy maker is a fun, easy way to fit a project with your child into a busy schedule.

Wife thought it would be pretty fun to let the kids make gummies for my daughters B-day sleep over. the kids made theme but they made me their tester. only bad thing is you have to by your on ingredients and adjust it to your liking.

My 5 year old daughter received this for Christmas and loves it. My only complaint is that the company should put a specific list of what else is needed, like plain gelatin, on the outside of the box. It was fun to make the candy though!

Grandkids had to wait for grandma to buy gelatin to make the product. Wish that had been noted larger on box like batteries not included.

It's been a hit. Very easy to use, tastes as good or not better than store bought gummies. The recipe was so easy, just went to the store bought a bunch of flavors of Jello, and a box of unflavored gelatin and we were in business. No need for anything else.

I use it every weekend when my nephews come over they love to make them it easy and they love that they can do it them selves and i have told there friends where to pick 1 up.

I bought this for my niece and she loved it. She likes to cook and make things herself and she was able to do this with little supervision.

Really cute candy maker and real easy to make candy with. My kids love making the candy u just have to buy non flavored jello and flavored to make the candy.

I finally tried this and it works great. I didn't know gummies were so easy. With this machine you can make them real healthy too!
