I bought this for my son for Xmas. He's at university so he waited to go back to school and his high end computer to try it out. The day he got back there he called me to tell me how amazing it was. Couldn't say enough good about it. Loves it.

This thing puts you in another dimension. It has plenty of games to download and it really immerses you into virtual reality. There are still a few bugs, but I am sure Oculus will iron them out. It is like no other I have experienced. I am not fond of heights and the roller coaster game is just awesome....

I tried the demo in the store, but it was nothing compared to what you can DL at home! Love this product!

Everything worked straight out of the box. Image quality was pretty good and performance seemed to be better than the Vive. Touch controls are sorely missed and more cameras would be a definite must for anything other than standing/ seated experiences facing forward. Software at this point is still pretty thin although there are some worthwhile titles out there.

The Oculus Rift and the games available for it are the absolute reason I love VR. I have the PSVR headset and I've owned an HTC Vive, but the Oculus is, in my opinion, the best of them all. It's lighter and less bulky, it has great quality built in headphones, and it's just a blast to play for hours.

You feel like you are out of your room and into this huge new world. This is the best purchase we have made in years. Unbelievable how real these worlds seem. You'll find yourself ducking creatures and holding on so that you don't fall off buildings. Love, love, love it. It's so much more than I expected.

After using the Oculus Rift now for a month, I can easily say that it was a great purchase. It makes playing games so much more immersive than ever before. Highly recommend it! The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because there is a glare once the headset is on. Although it could just be my less than great eyesight which is causing it.

I love this thing. It's so much more than I expected it to be. I was afraid I would get it and feel sick all the time. It's cool how it totally immerses you in the worlds. I stay away from the roller coaster rides and appreciate that the games come with a nausea factor to take into consideration.

All I can say is WOW! VR is amazing! My only issue with the Oculus Rift that I was expecting it to less full room experience. I was under the impression that the Rift was more for paling games in VR while sitting and the HTC Vive was more active, kind of like an Xbox Kinect. I have only discovered a few games that you can play while being seated.

I had wanted the Oculus for a while so when it went on sale I knew it was time. So far I have enjoyed it. I am able to connect with friends who have one and we can game play. It's pretty awesome. It can also be used to communicate with friends and others. This has so much potential beyond just gaming. I look forward and hopeful for all the ways they will find for using the Oculus aside from gaming, which it is great for. The only problem I have found is wearing glasses with the Oculus, they get foggy and it gets sweaty under the Oculus. These issue can be very annoying. I also wish you could press a button and see the world outside the Oculus in some way so we didn't have to always take them off when we get them just right, in order to see something in the room, like the computer if you have to change something with the mouse, or if someone comes into the room to ask you something. These are minor thing compared to the experience of using the Oculus though I wish there was a solution.

This Oculus Rift system is light years ahead of the cell phone headsets I had tried previously. The only downside was in the online setup instructions. Before connecting anything, you should update the video card driver for your video card. Once past that, my VR experience has been AWESOME!

The Rift is a really cool experience to have. VR is definitely worth trying, and at the price I got the Rift for I think it was worth it. It's something you have to do for yourself in order to really get. The only thing holding it back some right now is the resolution of the HMD, but when that is better it will be just incredible.

I must say that I am quite impressed with the overall quality of the HMD. Very lightweight and comfortable. The mounted headphones sound amazing as well. The visual quality of the displays are quite impressive with a very slight screen door effect that is not really noticeable during immersive gameplay. The only con I can point out is the god rays from bright text on dark backgrounds but once again they are not noticeable during gameplay. Another issue is you must have a pretty powerful PC to run the rift and the recommended GTX 970 just does not have enough power to run most of the games at a high fidelity and keep the 90fps needed for a smooth experience. After I upgraded to a GTX 1080 I can fully enjoy everything in a smooth experience. Overall I can say that I am quite happy with the rift.

The Oculus Rift is a blast to use with games like Robo Recall, Assetto Corsa and Eve Valkyrie. That I hope will only get better as the hardware advances. Using a recent gaming pc i5 7600k, GTX 1080, 16 gb of ram I've had no frame rate issues with any games on the Rift. It is super immersive coupling the visuals with the audio for an overall fantastic experience. The design of the lenses when on a dark background with a bright object can lead to noticeable "God Rays" which hopefully will be fixed in later revisions but I don't think it is a deal breaker. If you get the touch controllers and I'm not sure why you wouldn't be sure to use the wrist straps. The first time my fiance tried it one went flying at my computer monitor. Thank fully hit the bezel and the controller itself didn't have a scratch so they seem pretty durable. I've experience little to no motion sickness related issues but I've heard it varies from person to person. Glasses fit pretty well between the Rift and my face but I prefer to wear contacts for extended play. If you have a good setup for your PC and like flight/racing sims I would highly recommend this.

I would highly recommend anyone who has the money to spend on this to get it. It is a great experience and had never seen anything like it. Though I would recommend you buy the VR controllers to go with it, it was still a great product when I didn't have them.

I always wanted to try high end vr. I've tried Google cardboard, Gear vr, and Daydream. But they were limiting and I never felt immersed in what I was doing. That has changed with the Oculus Rift. You need a mid to high end pc to run but if you have that then you should pick one up.

My product arrived quickly with no issues. As soon as I put it on I was amazed, vr is awesome.

I bought this and did not know what to expect. I was amazed I was transformed into a new world.

Amazing experience. The game graphics are incredible and VR clips from programs such as Hulu really makes you feel like your there. The movie experience is like sitting in a theater!

I've owned an Oculus for a few years now and I never regretted buying one. Actually decided to buy a second one soon after. It's comfortable and even gives people who don't game a chance to play. Like my parents, grandparents etc. No regrets.
