Was hesitant to buy at the original price but with the summer sale including the oculus touch controls and headset I got it. Super great VR headset and the touch controllers make it even better and more immersive. Absolutely love it.

My husband had been testing the development kit and they really perfected the Oculus for full release. The headset is adjustable for a comfortable fit, which makes all the difference when playing. Love the freebie games.

The Oculus Rift is pretty cool. Coming with the Controllers and the extra sensor really make for an immediate advanced set up. Virtual Reality is the future, and it's now more affordable than ever. Would recommend giving it a shot.

It takes some getting used to, but my 1070 allows this to run very smoothly. Robo Recall is a blast. Again, once your use to putting it off and on and adjusting the straps. This is a nice piece of hardware. The cable are long but longer extension cables work just fine.

Ok, to start I am NOT an avid gamer, I am the type of person with a VERY SHORT attention span and never EVER have played a game to completion, well things have changed, when I first put these on and started the tutorial I was hooked, since then I ordered the touch to go with and now play the cliff climbing game... at times I found my legs shaking because of the realism of the experience, the shooting games are really cool also... I am 45 and feel a bit foolish with the mask on, but that all goes out the window as soon as the game starts..

This unit works really well, and with the Touch, the immersion is feels so real. As much as I love this new VR tech, I do look forward to when my entire family can play it together.

It's freaking awesome! It is amazing what you can do. I have virtually walked on the titanic, flown on Apollo 11, flown in the Mercury program, walked with dinosaurs, and played some very cool games. Don't be a fool by this unit!

Super immersive experience. Unlike anything else you've tried.

So clear and vivid. Sound is crisp. Prefer over other systems.

I love the Rift, I tell everyone i know about it in the hopes that they will get one as well. if you have a computer that can run it then you should definently buy one. even my wife who doesn't usually enjoy games, loves to use it.

If you are going VR, have a kick butt computer with high end graphics card, then the Oculus Rift is the only choice....playing Valkyrie alone is worth the price of admission....

Purchased the $400 bundle with the touch controllers. At this pricepoint I feel it's worthwhile for a first entry into VR. Games are great and a lot of fun, main complaint would be the godrays which are sometimes quite distracting. Overall still a good experience.

Did not plan on getting anything the day we went but a phone up grade! Then we tried this at the store and well loved it! The graphics are great. Good for the whole family too!

People keep saying it's too soon for VR, but I'm pretty sure they have never tried it before. VR is here, and it's here to stay. All we need is more content, and that's being added every day... with some phenomenal titles

I got this for my son to break into the be world. It was fairly easy to set up. It really does immerse you into the world of the game you are playing. We got the touch controllers shortly after purchasing. Great combo for games. Can't wait for new titles to be released.

I was a hard sell on VR because of the cost, but with the current prices, I took the plunge. I couldn't believe how immersive this is, and the software they've provided for free, such as Robo Recall and medium, is excellent.

Due to the price drop and the games becoming more polished is what pushed me to buy the rift. I don't think VR is perfect in it's current state for all games out there but for driving, flying, and simulation games it works great. Some of my favorite VR specific games have been Robo Recall, Arizona Sunshine, and Hot Dogs Horeshoes & Hand Grenades. The nice thing about the Rift is that you can use the Oculus store and SteamVR. Even Indiegala has been having VR game bundles. The only reason to wait is in the hopes of a higher resolution screen or better touch controls such as the knuckles but for now I feel the Touch Controls are great and at this price it's a great buy. Just make sure your computer can run it. I wouldn't purchase unless you have at least a gtx 1070.

Great real 3D gaming experience all around you, Love it.

Wanted to try vr for a while, I was waiting till they worked out the kinks. Blew me away how realistic everything is, the resolution could get better and the app selection should get much better as well. Overall good buy but only buy on sale, not worth 599.
