Loving This Thing

What do you expect from the first mainstream model. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth it. I do not have the touch controls but I ordered them so I can't imagine home much better the experience will be. I highly recommend!

Great product

I have only had it several weeks so I am still gaining experience with it but I have found that gaming with the Rift is far better than with just a monitor. You do need a good PC to run the Rift and I have a 6700k and 1080TI and have had no issues. I was on the fence about purchasing it due to the cost but now have no regrets. Many are purchasing high end monitors that cost much more than the Rift but I consider the Rift a better addition to my gaming.

Did the Research

I really wanted to see if VR was something that I was going to want to get into and I believe it is. I feel that both systems can deliver the quality that they promise but I do feel like Vive has the better technology out of the two. So far no complaints from this system tho would recommend getting if you want the cheaper one of the two.

Over Priced Novelty

But that feeling fades very quickly when playing the games available. Often made me feel sick and the games available get boring very quickly. The price on this is way too high for the actual game play and there is a screen door effect when playing. The excitement about VR will probably die out just like 3D TV did.

Setup is Insane
