Most people still think that VR is still a gimmick but the vive and rift both prove that VR is the future. They both put you into the game and the dated graphics they have dont matter once you are inside the game. You completely become enveloped in the gameplay. I can still only recommend them for people that like being ahead of the times since $800 for the rift and touch controllers is a bit pricey but they are definitely fun to show off to your buddies and blow their minds.

Works great on alienware aurora r5. A little long to set up but over all set up is easy.

All I can say is I`m glad that I can try VR Technology in our lifetimes. It is much better than 3D( I`m using 120" Screen with my 3D projector). The scale of things is just like it would be in real life. And with Oculus Touch controllers it is complete. You do need strong Pc to truly enjoy Oculus. MAKE SURE to Use OculusTrayTool-- This is important, It makes screen door effect almost none existent.

I recommend this product to any one who needs a virtual reality

First let me state that I have more than the required pc for this and yet after getting home I couldn't get it to work.. I tried for 4 days and even contacted oculus to see what could be wrong.. they suggested even though I was using a 295x2 that I may have to replace the video card to make this work .. From that perspective I can say they were very helpful and went above and beyond but in the end I wasn't ready to spend another $700 for another video card

I was buying a high end desktop for business use and realized it was also VR capable, so on a whim, added an Oculus headset and touch controllers. What a blast it has been. There is plenty of impressive content available and it has been fun exploring this new experience. The headset is comfortable (after a little adjusting) and the sound is quite impressive. I am very happy with the system.

Very cool device resolution sometimes an issue in a cockpit with small txt but it's an amazing feeling very real

I bought the headset and desktop as a bundle package. Therefore I thought it would be compatible but I was wrong there was only one bad review I knew I shouldve listened because they where correct. The vr headset won't even work on the desktop I purchased with the headset and since it's been more than 15 days but less than 30 days best buy won't even let me exchange it for a better computer and I even bought the extended warranty. I have rated two stars mainly becausr I'm writing a review on the headset and not the whole bundle package which is what I actually bought the headset with a cyberpower desktop bundle. I believe my problem is more the desk top that came with the bundle and not the headset it's self but since they where sold together that's why I wrote 2 stars on the headset I actually can't even use the headset yet since it's not compatible it will crash my computer within 5 minutes. I can't upload a picture right now because the headset and computer is actually at best buy right now and geek squad is looking at it for me.

A whole new gaming experience! Lot's of fun! Fortunately, I have a computer that is powerful enough to use. (check your computer specs before buying). You will need extra USB 3 and USB 2 ports and hubs. We downloaded a few free games and purchased a couple more. Make sure your play area is big enough to move around.

Although I haven't had a whole lot of time with it, this is really amazing hardware. Driving games with a wheel are a blast, the "tutorial" is awesome when you have the touch controllers. I have showed all my friends and family and they think it's really cool. Only complaint I have is most of the decent games seem expensive... but I can imagine a lot of work goes into them so I understand.

virtual reality is amazing. The rift is very comfortable to wear and a breeze to use.
