Oculus Rift works excellently. Only 4 stars because of the limited amount of games and apps available as compared to the HTC Vive (take a look at Steam and see how many more things are available for the Vive). If you are getting this, I'd advise getting the Touch controllers (opens up a whole range of games and apps) and an extra camera for 360 degree coverage.

Be careful if you get motion sickness. Free stuff on oculus website.

The Oculus Rift is a step forward in VR technology, but by itself, it's just kind of like a 3D movie. A gimmick, and an expensive one at that. But when paired with the Touch Controllers, that give you lag-free virtual "hands", THEN the experience truly comes alive. Star Trek Bridge Crew is amazing with the Rift + Touch combo, as are many other VR games.

This is great VR headset. Motion are smooth and picture quality is great. The weight is ok, they could strain your head if worn too long (3+ hours for me then starting to twitch) . It is usable for any VR related use and mostly compatible with Steam VR. I recommend pairing it with touch for best experience.

I had heard how far VR headsets had come lately but had not tried it. I went ahead and made the purchase and am blown away by how well put together not only the headset hardware but the software available both for free and for purchase. I highly recommend this headset. You will not be disappointed.

I'm am thoroughly impressed with the Oculus Rift and the Touch Controllers. It really feels like you are dropped into another world. I've even caught myself trying to lean on tables in front of me because they seem so real. Controllers are easy to use too and the tutorials are easy to understand.

Got this for my Sim racing rig to replace my triple 40" monitor set up, money well spent. Best way to describe it is with 3 screens you see the track and with the oculus your on the track.

I've been a vive user since it was first released but the oculus rift is now a comparable product for half the cost. It's less convenient to set up and supports a smaller play space but makes up for that with a lighter and smaller headset. I'd say this is the way to go at current prices.

Demo at store was great. Should be fun after I finish the setup.Can't get past the sensor setup. Example is worthless. Oculus support is type, submit and wait. Should provide a phone # to talk to an agent or a detailed video to help with setup. Oculus, your support of a great product, stinks!

I bought this for my boyfriend since Iv noticed him looking at YouTube videos and reading all these reviews about the oculus rift so I decided to get him one , and oh boy he loves it . I tried it myself and it is so much fun , we invited a few people to play and they had a blast :)

This is by far the coolest thing I have experienced in a long time! Make sure you read hardware specs before purchasing. I had to upgrade my Video card and it made all the difference in the world. So pay attention to the recommended specs because it will affect your experience dramatically.

This system is great. I've had hours of fun with it.

I have been using the Oculus mainly for Elite Dangerous. It's pretty amazing. Haven't figured out how to get the in game text to be a little more clear but I think that's just a user error that I need to figure out. Text isn't bad, just a little difficult to read smaller fonts.

easy to setup as following step by step instruction when plug in the headset. Some games do have errors and lags, some need to restart to connect to internet. It's fun and givesgreat experience, need more great free games :)) Remember to restart the Oculus software or even the computer after installed each game if possible.
