It might be fun

I have 5 USB 3.0 ports on a new board I got specifically for the rift. The response from Oculus was to get a different maker of USB. Strange that it wouldn't work better on such a high priced item. Can't play it till I buy a USB adapter.

Very good experience but lots of optic artifacts?

It has better graphics than I expected, and you really can't beat the immersion. However I notice that the "God Ray" artifacts are really annoying with my unit. I'm wondering if this is a common issue or is it just my unit.

The only product on the market with a true vr experience design is the Vive. Without full roomscale in mind, this will always be a half baked product. Nothing will change when Oculus Touch arrives. It just wasn't designed to be a full wide open 360 degree experience. Not only that but the company behind this product tracks everything you do on your computer. There is a background service that constantly sends information to their parent company even when you don't have the unit turned on. There's no option to even turn this off. It's something you agree to when installing the necessary software to run this hardware. Stay away from the Rift and stop supporting paid exclusives and non-optional customer marketing.
