I chose the Omen HP 870-224 because its specs matched the system requirements for Corel Painter (and my budget limits). Painter runs smoothly--there is no lag even with the watercolor brushes. It's very quiet and the internal temperatures stay low. I would recommend the Omen to anyone who enjoys digital painting.

I bought it mainly to play simulator type games and it don’t miss a beat. I have settings on ultra ats and it runs flawlessly. For the price you can’t beat it and it’s ultra quiet.

Started off buying a Cyperpower PC but after a few hours that PC decided to just stop working. Returned that machine and got an HP Omen Desktop. I already owned a HP Omen laptop so I knew their gaming systems are actually good. I am now using this PC for everyday use, streaming, and mining

One of the things I look for in a PC is the ability to be upgraded in order to not be obsolete quite so fast. This PC lacks that. The amount of RAM can only be increased to 16GB which, as of now, might be alright. However, as these things tend to go, it definitely will not be later. Also, the Nvidia GTX 1060-3GB is a bit under-powered for my liking, even for an entry-to-mid level gaming PC. While there are no real performance issues that I have noticed as of yet (save for a bit of a long boot-up), the limitations for the future are a deal breaker for me. I will be taking this one back and exchanging it for something with a little more room to grow. It was time to upgrade my 5 year old budget PC I bought in 2013. After doing a good bit of research and comparing, I found this to be the best PC in terms of value and power. I've been using it for the last few weeks playing Battle for Azeroth and everything is running smoothly. It is also very quiet, which is great! *The LED light on the front of the computer can be changed to any color, not just red *Although the PC looks silver in the picture, it is almost black *The video card requires an HDMI or DVI input, there is no VGA input, so make sure you have the proper cable for your monitor.

I purchased this PC when it was on sale, and wow - definite bang for the buck! It runs heavy games smoothly, Adobe Premiere without an issue (all while allowing for smooth multitasking). Since this purchase, we've bought several more for our office.

It is a great PC for the price. I5 7th gen processor, dual channel Wi-Fi, plus an Nvidia GTX 1060 card. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the bloat ware installed and I wish it would have had the ability to SLI or Xfire a new set of cards when it comes time to upgrade it.

It’s better than any other brand out there, for an i5. Don’t worry about the gigs and memory. It’s cheap to upgrade an extra 8gigs and there’s also a big list of internal and external hard drives for cheap prices, instead of paying extra for a better computer to start of with.

I've been using this for about a year, and it's great. it's able to run Grand Theft Auto 5, Fortnite, PUBG, etc. with no problem. I've had close to no problems with this PC, and I recommend to anyone looking for a budget gaming PC under $1000.

This computer is easy to use and is fast at loading pages. We love it and would recommend to everyone. Great gaming computer as well.

it is a great desktop. i enjoyed it so far. The speed is very fast. but it would be nice to have a notice on the desktop saying the hdmi1 and hdmi2 plug doesn't work. It took me a week to find that out through hp company.

Till this day I am still absolutely obsessed with the performance of this desktop and can play high quality demanding games like Grandtheft auto five Fortnite etc. at at least 60 frames per second with absolutely no issue. I’ve had this unit for about two years and three months now and the only change that I’ve made to the unit is I upgraded ram to 32 gigs capacity max and it works perfectly just fine with Corsair

This may not be the highest-end PC out there, but it is excellent. It runs without hiccups and is very quiet. It is also aesthetically pleasing. This is a very capable PC that runs several Microsoft accounts seamlessly.

I haven't had the computer for very long, so we will see how it fares over time, but so far it has been running very smoothly. I haven't experienced any issues and am very happy with how it runs the games that I play (League of Legends, Fortnite, and Overwatch). I bought it with the Omen monitor ($189.00) and together they produce very minimal screen tear and have very clean graphics. Would recommend for someone who likes to game but for whom gaming isn't necessarily their whole life.

This was purchase both for work and for gaming--and it worked great! Other than having to remove some junk programs that comes with the computer (e.g., McAfee, etc), everything worked well right out of the box. There was a microsoft update that significantly slowed the computer. I had to call the HP help to remove that update and the computer went back to it's original blazing speed. It was a pain contacting HP support though--waited on the phone for 30+min twice, had to hang up. Eventually I tried the online support and that solved the problem in <10 minutes. Would give this 5 stars if the tech support answered the phone faster.

I bought this computer to replace an older one I had. The use I needed to get out of it was to have something to do work from home and to play videogames on. So far, I have been very satisfied. I have been able to run the games Fallout 4 and Space Engineer smoothly, both of which barely ran on my older PC. I also find the case for the tower to be very aesthetic. The ability to mess with the colours is always fun. The only "complaint" I have is that the computer starts up a bit slower than my laptop. My laptop does have a SSD so this is just me going back to a computer with a HDD. The Omen does have space to put in a SSD so this can easily be fixed. 10/10 would buy again

I highly recomend to get this pc is great for fortnite, gta, first person shooter games, and editing. Also this pc is really great for streaming games. Almost every game rans in ultra graphics settings great for a gaming setup. Also it comes with Keyboard and mouse but I recomend to get a gaming mouse and keyboard for the best experience.

Got this on sale for 699.00 what a bargain. I5 7400 with GTX 1060 3Gb card - added 8Gb ram for total of 16Gb and could not be more happier. Got it on 12 months no interest- Thanks Best Buy

This PC is absolutely amazing. Plays multiple games plenty of storage graphics are amazing!

The computer runs great. Didn't want to go through the hassle of building a computer so this computer that was bundled with an oculus was a great deal. It runs all of the current VR games smooth and it runs most other games on the highest settings. There is only 1 HDMI slot that works but there are also 3 other display ports that work on the GPU. Make sure your monitor can use a Display port if you are planning on using this for Oculus.
