Had the TV for a few months and ut was shut off one day crapy service

Just bought receiver, now orby shut the doors....want my money back...

Sucks. The service discontinued shortly after I bought it.

Returned this item due to Orby going out of business.

Does exactly as advertised and works well. Much less sophisticated system and lesser programming options then the big guys but integrates your local channels through the DVR and online guide seamlessly. Very basic DVR and on screen program guide but is adequate. One-third to one-half the cost of DirecTV and no BS that comes with dealing with that company. I'm extremely handy and self-installed the dish using the signal meter in the DVR if you're not handy or experienced with dish pointing you may want to pay for the pro install. Watch for sales at Best Buy I picked mine up for 25% off having just missed a 50% off sale.

I was tired of paying my high cost of cable for channels I never watch and decided to get OrbyTV. I am happy with it! My satellite picture is crytal clear and it has the channels I want. I am not receiving the atenna channels as clear as I'd like, but I don't think that is the fault of OrbyTV as I went and bought another antenna and am experiencing the same issue. It does not have the Hallmark channel or National Geographic (keep that in mind), but it has all the other channels I want. I could care less about ESPN.

The equipment seems OK, but the software on the receiver is terrible.... First off, if you loose satellite signal for any reason, be it snow, storm clouds or a large bird, there is a huge notification box that takes up half of your screen telling you that you lost satellite signal... That's good and all, but you can't get rid of it...Even when watching a recording, it's there.. Even called customer service... What a joke... They said "we are the satellite service, not customer support for equipment"... When asked about equipment support, he said that there is NONE..... The guide won't let you record multiple shows in a series without selecting each one individually.. You are unable to search for shows of any type, movie or series... Very bare bones... Not intuitive at all... Returning to the store and sticking with Dish Network until Orby gets it right...

Recording all my shows. Science channel, Discovery, History, Cooking and Travel channels are my favorites so this is perfect for me. 54 a month for 3 rooms is great price too

I got sick of paying so much for cable and got rid of it a while back. I kind of missed having a DVR and I don’t have time to set up a bunch of streaming stuff. My friend told me about OrbyTV and I figured out I can record my shows on local TV and also get some cable channels. I called the company because I did not believe that there is no contract but it is true. I am happy with it.

Orby TV is Awesome! The DVR is so simple to use, the picture quality is outstanding, and not to mention it only cost $25 for the install with the dish! Awesome value, and extremely happy!

OrbyTV DVR works great! I am very satisfied with the DVR box I recommend it to anyone looking at Orby TV very easy to use and the installation was only $25 with the dish and everything.

I had one of these and it continually locked up. No pause of play. Returned it and they sent a new one out. SAME problem except worse. Locked up more often. Reboot and it would work for a day. WHen you reboot it takes hours to reload the guide so you use it blind. After putting up with this for over a year I decided to buy a NEW? Unit from Best Buy at an end of year clearance. SAME problem. Called Orby and they want $80.00 to send someone to check it out. I asked about warranty and they said in this case there would be an $80.00 charge. Junk....DON”T BUY. If I get any favorable response from Best Buy I will let you know. Last time they told me to call Orby. JUNK

I kept on seeing the commercial on TV so I went online and checked it out. CNN is really the only channel we constantly stream online because it's not available in our local air waves. To their credit they do tell you what you get. Put in your ZIP code and you'll see what channels are available in your area via their product. For us only 29 channels that we already get for free with a simple antenna. I wonder how many people are paying for this when all they need is a well placed antenna.

Purchased this as an option to another contract satellite solutions. Once installation was done, activation and set-up were a breeze. Watching quality TV in minutes and loving all the choices!

I do not have Orby, but anyone looking at this product needs to be aware that the SERVICE HAS SHUT DOWN. Don't take my work for it, do a quick google search. Instead of clearance prices on this product, BestBuy needs to remove it from sale as you'd only be purchasing a expensive paperweight.

Orby is not who they say they are. They do not spell out everything you need to know. Orby charges an additional $75.00 right now at this point and time FOR A POLE TO BE PUT IN THE GROUND. Just a pole to put their antenna / Dish on.
