The day before he lost his phone, he missed a stair and his phone in his hand struck the concrete and cracked. That never happens, I've dropped my phone from a height of 5 feet and not a scratch. I also had a server spill water on it in, while not complete waterproof, I was able to wipe it off quickly and no problem. I wouldn't own any other case.

Sounds like that included screen protector is sitting a little higher above the touchscreen than we would normally prefer, and we apologize. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.three or more years ago I bought an otter box defender case for my iPhone 5c.Idropped my phone hundreds of tome or it would fall out of my top pockets never broke my phone.the Otter Box protected my phone very well.i had to replace my iPhone 5c with anIphone 7,and after dropping my new phone 9 times in 4 days ,I figured my phones 9 lives were up.so I bought a new OtterBox defender........very pleased with it's performance!

Moooving (see what I did there?) away from a feisty cow, I tripped, and landed HARD on my back, on rocks with my phone in my back pocket. If not for the Otter Box, my phone would have been totaled! If you're an outdoors person and keep your phone on your person, you need this. I will not take it off my phone!
