This case took a little more time to put together than simpler cases, but is worth a little extra trouble. It is really easy to grip, and won't slide around on any surface. It also completely protects the phone, unlike a lot of the cases out there. The only issue is that because it's thick, it does make the phone a little bulky in your pocket.

Otterbox probably make the best protection for a phone you can get. I didn't feel I needed to research this before I bought it. It is incredibly durable, practical and stylish as well. It fits the model perfectly and attaches/detaches easily on the belt clip. An accessory I am pleased to have protecting a considerable investment.

I ALWAYS buy generic rugged cases. But Best Buy gave me a discount. This case is not bulky at all and allows me to keep a good grip on my new Samsung S7. I am a believer in Otterbox and I WILL buy a replacement if I ruin this one. It covers my glass screen without hindering the touch response. You get what you pay for!!!

I love the plastic cover over the front it totally protects the phone, I love it's durability, it wears well, I just got a new phone, and gave my husband my phone, when we took his S6 out of the otterbox it looked brand new, So when he got my S7 he wanted his otter box to go on it, since it doesn't fit it I had to find another Great otterbox to fit the S7 the new otterboxes for the S8 are not as protective, No plastic shield screen to protect the front of the phone

This case fit over my new S7 very well. The rubber/gel outer shell covers the plastic shell very tightly, so plan on using some force to get it to fit onto it. This makes the buttons a little harder to push as the rubber is very taught. This is not a LifeCase, so there are openings at the speakers and microphone on the bottom. The screen protector works pretty well, there is a small gap though. I have already seen where the protector sticks to the screen, but the rest doesn't on occasion. This isn't a huge deal for me. The front is a teal/blue color. I didn't know this until I actually pulled the case out of the box in the store.

I got a sale price which helped. It's a good tough 2 step case with pivoting position and belt hanger clamp on the outer protector. I often leave the entire assembly on the phone for extra protection and I can find it easy. The inner protector is a hard rubberized material with a clear screen cover. The phone is fully functional with just the inner protector. No pictures with the outer protector . I like it !

There is no substitute to Otterbox. Over the years, mine have survived drops and a good bit of water (never submerged, but the occasional monsoon). I have a magnet mount in my car, and placing the metal piece under the rubber part of the Otterbox still works great. I trust this more than any other brand. I've had friend make a warrant claim with zero issues resulting in a quick replacement. Would buy again.

Otter box for out Samsung phone fits perfect looks great/ provides outstanding protection

I bought this case because I do not like the bulky Otterboxes and this one is anything but bulky. I have dropped my phone twice since I bought it and the phone was protected both times. Also, it is convenient to take on and off to use the GearVR. The down side is that the Edge's screen sticks up higher than the case so if you ever drop the phone on its face it may crack. I like it a lot though.

Have been using the Otterboxes for years, never a broken or busted mobile the many times they have slipped from my hand to the concrete below. Very comfortable in the hand and the belt clip is great. A bit bulky but worth the size for the protection.

Easy to grip and doesnt slip out of my hands. Easy to put on and take off my phone.

Awesome case for galaxy S7. Easy to install, not too bulky but has great protection.

I have used Defender cases on my last 3 Galaxy phones. I have dropped them many times, accidentally thrown them across the room, etc --> it has always provided great protection. To be fair, I'm not slamming them down nor am I dropping them from great heights, but for any regular person, this case should protect very well. My only "complaint" is that it's bulky, but that's what adds to the protection. My understanding is that the "Commuter" cases are more for looks, less for protection. The rubber on my first case for the S3 began to get too soft and loose. The S5 case kept it's shape for the full 2 years I used it. The newest one on the S7 has worked well so far. The only other thing is that dust and debris get through the little holes for the home button and ear piece very easily. I have to take the phone out every couple of weeks to wipe it down. Otherwise, it protects very well!

I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants the maximum protection for your device. and do not want to worry if you drop it. This case is well made and fits my S7 perfect. I like the included belt clip that also flips around to protect the screen.

This is the second Otterbox - Defender Series that my husband has had. He is very rough on phones, constantly dropping and mishandling. This Otterbox has protected the phone time and time again. As a matter of fact, the case on the first Otterbox only broke because my husband had it off and was trying to modify it on his own! This is a great product and I would purchase again!

Pros: *Not too bulking, but I have big hands and the Galaxy S7 is pretty darn thin. *Very secure *Belt clip doubles as a stand, perfect for setting up when watching shows/movies/videos for hands free watching *Screen protector doesn't interfere with touch sensitivity *Extra water protection at charging and headphone ports on top of the water protection already built into the device Cons: *Screen protector covers areas that you touch only, so the front facing camera isn't covered or speaker for hands on phone calls; this allows dust/dirt/hair to get trapped under screen protector *Clips are so secure that it's difficult to remove to clean any dust/dirt/hair that gets trapped under screen protector *Rubber around case has some causes phone to grip to the inside of your pocket when not using the provided belt clip/phone holder

If you are afraid to drop and break your phone, get this case and you will have no more fears. There is good reason why Otter-box is the leader in the cell phone case market. The defender case is a little more bulky than other cases on the market, but it protects your phone so well that the little bit of added bulk makes it worth it. I've purchased a defender case for any phone I've had and have yet to be let down by it, and trust me I've dropped my phone many many times. The case fits my hands well, no accidental button presses unlike when I do not have a case on it. The only gripes I have about the case are that sometimes the phone runs hotter when in hotter weather and that the rubber outer shell will sometimes stretch , which isn't particularly in fault of anyone but myself. Great case with a built in screen protector, I can't say enough good things about this case compared to the many others that have saturated the market place. Scared to break your pretty new smart phone? Buy this case and be as rough with the phone as you want and believe me, you soon will also be praising the Otter-box defender case . This case is a little expensive at Best Buy compare to on-line retailers.

This case is like a vault for your phone. Its not nearly as impenetrable as my fry vault, but its good enough for a phone. Only gripe is that somehow dust has settled in between the screen protector and the phone screen.

I love otterbox protection. This protected my phone very well, I liked it even more before the belt clip broke. I started to get tired of the bulk of it though, and if water or something gets under the built in protector you have to take it all off and dry it to get the spaz to stop. However, if you drop your phone a lot and such, it really is good. I don't drop my phone so much, or else I would still be using it
