It's like an armored suit for your phone. I've always had Otterbox Defender cases for most of my phones and they have all been great. HOWEVER... A heads up for those who use wireless charger pads(Such as the Samsung Fast Wireless Charging Pad) Due to the thickness of the Defender case, the wireless charging feature is affected. It still works but not that great and it's much slower than without the case. I had to return this case because of that problem. HOWEVER the Otterbox Commuter case works well with wireless charging.

I have always bought Samsung phones for myself and the only thing that I didn't like about the new S7 was the fact that you are not able to access the battery to switch it out. I tend to be on the run and away from outlets and carrying a second battery has kept me going some days. My phone get used a lot between my apps and the kids games so battery life is drained quickly.
