I dropped my other phones so much, I wondered how they held up as long as they did. I've dropped this one a few times and it didn't bother it because of the case.

It is super protective which makes me feel safe about carrying my phone anywhere!! Otterbox is an awesome product!

Tough Case for drops

Mic a little harder to hear given thickness of case but dropped several times and no concerns. Typing is harder with built in screen. Need to take time to press keys. For protection 5, for size 3, for mic sound 3 and for typing 3.

Thanks for your honest feedback! The Defender should not hinder your touch screen interaction or audio experience. We are sorry that this is happening and we certainly want to help out. As far as it being a bit too bulky for your pockets, maybe our Commuter or Symmetry case would work out better. They are both slimmer than the Defender and they still offer great protection. It has saved my phone from damage time after time. I felt it was time to replace the case because it was starting to look a bit worn from my hard usage.

I took the plastic cover off and use a tempered glass screen protector. So far there has been no damage to my phone and I've dropped it quite a few times already.

The only issue I have had with it is that by its design, my clothing and my seatbelt sometimes interfere with my phone properly seating in the case, especially if I am seated when I try to return my phone to the case.

Only problem is I don’t have enough strength in my hands to pull the rubber case over the frame to make a good seal. Usually when I buy an item in the store, the staff do this for me! I miss that!
