I wanted a case with protection but more color options, so I chose the defender. It does a great job of protecting the phone but the touch screen is not as responsive as I would have liked.

Very hard to text

There is a "gap" between the touchscreen and the front of the case that reduces the sensitivity of the touchscreen. You have to tap hard to ensure your touch registers. I returned the case.

Seal not as tight as I want it to be

I have purchased Otterboxes before and been happy with them. However, this case has a design flaw. The opening on case around the camera lens and flash is not designed properly and does NOT protect the phone in this area. Around a month after purchasing new phone and case, I realized that something had hit it in that area, and shattered the back of my new phone. So, now after paying for a new phone, I have to pay to get a replacement phone(which is not a new phone). GGRRRR, I will not purchase another Otterbox.

It fell from less than 2 feet off the ground and is no longer useable. Sad to pay for what i thought was a sturdy product and get such a bad experience
