Water proof. Holds up great. Port covers are large and very easy to use. If you don't buy this high grade cover for your phone you are going to regret it the first time you drop it.

Especially the Defender series. While it does hold up to drops (not intentional), I have found that particles seem to attract to the inside case at will when the case is suppose to help keep out water. Will test for further update, but so far disappointed with this aspect of the product.

I must admit it was a little difficult to take off when I needed to, but I didn't complain because that was an indicator that the case wouldn't fall apart. Otter box is known for it's case. Only suggestion I wish I could have selected my inner shell color. Love it!

That being said I find no fault with this case and I am enjoying it quite a lot. It seems to be everything I need and does the job well.

I've had this one on an older phone that i just traded in and despite it been dropped a few dozen times it still works perfectly. You really don't need additional insurance if you have a case like this.

It is a a great device for most everything.The camera is a bit difficult for me because it is hi tech (& I am not) but most folks would likely do well with it. Takes great photos!
