But, this one works perfectly. I did not need the outside protector, which is more appropriate for someone needing more rugged protection. The inner protective shell is perfect for everyday hand drops and slips.

Best case, protects your phone

I drive tractor trailers, and this case has protected it every time. I have been using the OtterBox Defender case on my previous phone for about 3 years, and when it came to buying a new phone and new case, there was never a question of which case I HAD to get.

I had dropped on that was in an expensive case and yet the screen was shattered. I had replaced the phone and this one is very protective on all sides and absorbs the shock of dropping it. Great value and MUCH cheaper than replacing the phone.

The cover over the charger is also snug. This is my second otterbox. I bought this product for my previous phone as well, the Galaxy S5 and dropped it a full floor with no damage. So, is it a bit bulky.... yes... but the protection is worth it.

There are cheap versions out there but this thing fits perfectly. You can tell when something was made with quality. Care, and precision. Everything fit and clipped perfectly. I got lucky and found this one on sale. Five stars. No complaints
