This case is made of a strong grade of plastic that greatly protects the phone if dropped. The shell for the phone itself is made up of a hard plastic that the phone sits inside of and then a rubber skin goes over the hard plastic case. And if the phone is dropped, the rubber helps absorb the shock of the drop nicely. The belt clip holster holds the phone firmly to your side, the case doubles as a stand for viewing videos while the phone sits on a flat surface.
