I absolutely love my oura. I had the gen 3 for several years and made the jump to upgrade to the ceramic and it is such a beautiful color and fits so smooth compared to my gen3. Love love love!

Really happy with my purchase! I debated getting an Oura ring for years and am glad I finally pulled the trigger. The petal color is adorable and I really like the ceramic. I worried about scratching with wear and tear and thus far I don’t notice any blemishes. My job is really hands on so between that and the gym the ring quality is phenomenal. I love being able to track my sleep and see how environmental factors affect it. It has been a good wake up call for me to better monitor my stress. I recommend this product to anyone who has been on the fence! You won’t regret it.

As a night shift nurse, Oura ring has informed me of key factors of my health. At first, I thought I wouldn’t like the ring due to its bulky nature, but have found that it doesn’t bother me at all! It has been helpful to see the trend of my stress levels as well as get insight into how sleep affects my day to day. I love knowing my heart rate and other vitals. I would recommend this ring to anyone looking to improve their overall health, mind and body!

Got my ring 3 weeks ago. I was recently diagnosed with RA and it has already started helping me track when I’m about to have a flare up. Helps me understand a lot of what my body goes through each day. The ceramic white is so nice and goes with everything. I have small hands so it’s a little bulky for my fingers but I still love it.

Love the ring and the app. I gave 4 stars because I’ve only had the ring for a little over a week and it is already scratched in a couple of places. It shouldn’t be that fragile. I have to take it off when doing housework, washing dishes. Disappointing since the ceramic costs more than the metal - it should be more durable.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS I’ve never owned an Oura ring but have several friends that do and rave about them. As a long-time smart watch user, it was a nice change to have a more eloquent jewelry appearance. SETUP The app was easy to install, and it was very straightforward to link the ring to my account. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. The charger is compact and works with any USB-C charging cable. Initial charge took about an hour, and the ring was ready for use. The charger will turn green when ring is fully charged. USE Having never had a smart ring, I was a bit concerned about the comfort. I am not much of a jewelry wearer so getting used to it was probably more difficult than most. I did use the sizing-kit and it was very accurate. Due to all the sensors and features the ring is very thick. At first it was very uncomfortable, and I did not think I would be able to keep it for any length of time as it was more of an annoyance than I felt helpful. It took around 2 days for me to get used to wearing it and now I forget that I have it on. I do love the ceramic on the ring as I feel like it makes it more elegant and lowers the chance of scratching the ring with normal wear and tear. Also, I love that it is water resistant, so I don’t worry about leaving it on the counter while washing my hands. Oura claims a 5-to-8-day battery life. I have used the ring for five days and received a notification that I was at 22%. Recharging took approximately 45 minutes to get back to 100%. I love the battery life as I’ve owned some smart watches that need charged every day and because of this inconvenience I found myself missing out of the sleep activity. The Oura ring tracks so many things including sleep, activity, stress, readiness and women’s health. My two favorites are sleep tracking and readiness. While I have a competitor’s watch that tracks sleep, I love that this one tracks more sleep attributes. The Oura tracks total sleep, efficiency, restfulness, REM sleep, deep sleep, latency and timing. All of those are calculated to give you a sleep score and suggestions on how to improve your sleep. It also measures your average blood oxygen, your heart rate, your average HRV and lets you know if you are breathing regularly. I will say that compared to my watch my sleep score with the Oura is much higher, but it also measures far more data points to compute the score. I love the latency feature as I never knew in the past how long it took me to fall asleep. My time ranges from 5-20 minutes. At first, I was impressed until I read that target should be 15 to 20 minutes and less than 5 minutes is a sign of being overtired. The app also gives tips on how to get to sleep if having issues. My second favorite feature is the readiness tracking. This tracks your resting heart rate, your heart rate variability, your body temperature, and respiratory rate. They combine this data with your sleep, sleep balance, activity balance and recovery index to give you a readiness score between zero and 100. Since it is the weekend my readiness score was higher than the past week. Today it offered encouragement by saying I gave myself downtime and my body and mind thanked me for it. With the fast-paced life we live it is nice to get encouragement for taking a break to recharge. The activity tracker is standard with tracking steps, total calories burned, activity time and it sets a calorie burn goal for you and tracks progress towards that daily goal. The step count is within 200 steps of my watch so I would say, the Oura is very accurate. Heart rate and stress tracker are also standard and includes tracking your restorative time, stress (the amount of time your body has felt a high level of physiological stress), sleeping and activity to give you a stress time. CONCLUSIONS I am quite impressed with the Oura ring and all the features that come in such a small package. I am also impressed with the aesthetic of the Oura, it is fashionable and functional. I love all the data that is collected. I wake up and check it first thing to see how I slept and what my readiness is to prepare me for the day. There were two negatives with the Oura. First like I said prior I do not like are the initial getting used to wearing the ring and it was uncomfortable for the first 48 hours. I feel like it is thick due to all the sensors, so thick it makes my fingers seem un-natural as my pinky can’t touch my ring finger. The second thing I do not love is the annual fee to get the data. The ring is pricy compared to a smart watch and I do not get texts, or phone calls on the Oura. Even with these two negatives, I would purchase an Oura ring. I feel like the data collected is invaluable, incredibly insightful and helpful. RECOMMENDED

This is my first Oura ring, but used different smartwatches, and the ring has several benefits. The ring itself, mine in Midnight ceramic, is perfectly polished and with a blue hue. Almost black, slightly blue. It's a great color. The ring is a bit thick so it's taking me a while to get used to it. It also feels slightly loose because it has to fit through my thick knuckles. I spent a few days using the sizing kit before I ordered mine. The sizing kit is a great way to make sure to order the correct size and experience the feeling of wearing the ring. The charge lasts about a week, and the bigger the ring, the slightly larger the battery, or so it seems. It comes with an aluminum ring holder/charger that charges it fast, using an USB-C phone charger (not included). The ring doesn't vibrate nor generates any notifications, so it's not a replacement for a smart watch in that sense, but it collects some of the same information and more. Actual sensors include an accelerometer, temperature sensor and light sensors. The temperature sensor is not found on smartwatches and this is very important in context with other measures. For me the main point is that I can wear this to sleep and it's unobtrusive. It gave me a lot of information on sleep patterns that I didn't know for sure and needed to find out. It can determine the quality of sleep, including REM, light and deep sleep., duration and when each stage occurs, if there are any disturbances. During the day it can correlate stress levels. This information is very important and presented in a meaningful way that I have not seen anywhere else. The reason I got this ring is the quality of information it can infer and that I could not get with a smartwatch. The application is very polished and unobtrusive. While many smartwatches show mostly raw data, Oura provides more context. As my main objective was to track sleep, after the first week of use I have a better understanding of the phases in the sleep cycle, quality and quantity of sleep and what can I do with that information. Overall, it's a great complement if not a replacement for a smart watch. It can track physical activity as well as a watch but more consistently as I don't need to remove it, even while sleeping. Only downside is getting used to wearing a thicker ring.

Oura has made the sizing, setup and use of their latest ring effortless. The sizing kit makes identifying your perfect fit easy. You notice the quality and beauty of this device right of the box. All you need to do initially is set the ring on the charge stand. There is a small indent on the bottom of the ring that assist with orienting correctly and it will go one way for the sensors to connect to the charge port. The Oura app can be installed on your phone while it is charging. The app instantly identifies and connects to the ring as long as you have Bluetooth enabled. You will be prompted to setup your profile and the AI assistant will ask questions to identify your health and fitness goals. The AI assistance does a great job of responding and answering any questions you may have about use of your device. Charging is super quick and only takes between 20 to 40 minutes. You really start to appreciate the beauty when you start wearing. The Midnight Blue ceramic is very unique and has a deep blue glossy appearance. The Titanium inner band is super comfortable, and the sensors are not noticeable at all. The indent on the ring helps you to effortlessly orient the sensors for the best tracking. You will forget the wealth of data the ring is collecting with how comfortable and stylish the ring looks and feels. Tracking of your body temperature, heartrate, steps, activity and sleep are very accurate. You receive a detailed daily summary and suggestions on goals for the current day. You step count goal adjusts based upon your readiness and how well rested you are and recent activity. You can manually add events to your timeline, but it automatically tracks all key metabolic events. It can sync to Apple Fitness, Samsung Fitness or Strava for automatic connecting to activity on these apps as well. I like I can leave my phone at home when going on walks / jogs and the ring stores my data and imports the details activity data (distance, map routes, etc.) directly from fitness watch / phone. There is a 30-day subscription included, and you will need to subscribe for $5.99 per month to get all the benefits of the AI assistant. I believe this is a great value for all the data and insights that are provided to interpret the data. If you are looking to effortlessly track your health and activity data, the Oura ring is great option. The Ring 4 Ceramic will also get you an appealing fashion accessory that you will enjoy wearing on a daily basis. I have no problem wearing 24 / 7 and was able to get a full week on a charge. I would have been able to go even longer, but Oura recommends charging around 30% for better battery life. I highly recommend and you if know someone that currently has a ring, that can send you a referral and get an extra 10% of the already value price.

This is my first time using an Oura smart ring. Into it with low expectations because I already have an apple watch that tells me health information. However, the Oura ring goes into way more detail and gives advice which is much better than the apple watch. Make sure you use the Oura sizing kit before purchasing. I'm glad I did because I would have bought the wrong size ring without that kit. The price for the kit is a small amount compared to the ring itself. Setting up the Oura ring was very simple. Download the app and following the instructions. My ring needed a firmware update that it automatically did on its own. After that just start wearing the device so it can track your information. It will take a few days of wearing to get you targeted information about yourself. The ring itself is a little thick, but that's because it has to house a battery and sensors, etc. I normally do not wear rings, so it took me a few days to get used to. Thankfully the ring itself is pretty resilient as I have smashed it into things, scrapped it on things, etc and it still looks brand new. I know the metal rings show wear, but I think the ceramic will stay looking good for a long time. My biggest issue is sleep. I have trouble falling asleep or feeling well rested the next day. I cannot wear my apple watch at night to track issues because it needs to be charged. The Oura ring has lasted me 6-8 days on a charge, so this is perfect for using to track sleep. The detailed sleep information has been helpful as I'm seeing a trend of why I'm struggling. I have noticed that I'm laying in bed for a long time without falling asleep. This is because I'm playing on my phone/tablet for hours. The Oura ring app showed my sleep efficiency not great, because of my endless scrolling on my phone. So with that information I can slowly start to make changes to help get better sleep efficiency. The information is presented in such an easy way to see everything. I'm sure my apple watch can do something similar, but Oura just makes it simple to see the issues (highlighted in red in the app) and gives you information on why it could be happened and ways to remedy the issue. Since wearing the Oura ring and making the suggested changes, I have noticed that I'm starting to feel better and sleeping better. This is huge for me as I have seen many doctors who only want to prescribe medications and not get the root cause of the issue. The Oura ring app tracks more than just sleep and is a whole-body tracking device. I was really surprised at how it picked up that I was stressed. Earlier today I was having trouble logging into a website that is very important, and I was getting stressed/frustrated that I couldn't get in. When I looked at the Oura ring app it showed that information along with the time the stress happened. I really love how accurate and precise the information that the Oura ring collects and displays in the app. I know in my prior job I was stressed out about certain aspects so having it accurately measure stress would have helped me figure out the exact triggers to possibly change them. I'm so happy to have this ring as I really do see it making changes for the positive in my life. It is a little pricey, but the amount of detailed information along with help to make fixes is really worth it to me. If you are looking for an all-in-one health tracker I would recommend an Oura ring over a smart watch. The Oura ring has so much great information and help in the app that it just blows a smart watch out of the water.

I've thought about smart rings for a while but wondered why I would need one when I already have a smart watch. One reason would be to basically get another opinion. Don't place all your reliance on one device. You can double check and see how well they match. Another reason is I don't really like my watch on when I sleep. I almost always wear rings. At first I wanted the regular silver but I'm glad I got the midnight color. It's not really a true navy and it's never looked to me like the online photos. It's got a hint of grey and teal in it. It's definitely not a vibrant color, more understated. Depending on the light your in, it changes colors. Kinda neat. It has definitely grown on me. The sizing is the only thing I've really had an issue with. You get the sizing kit beforehand so you can try them on, see how they fit, and where you want to wear the ring. I ended up choosing the 11 as it was snug but not uncomfortable. When the ring came and I tried it on, it was tight. I could still fit on my finger but definitely would have chosen the size 12. I placed the sizing ring onto the Oura charging base to check, and indeed it does wiggle around a bit. The actual ring fits snugly. It is also thicker on the outside due to the ceramic shell. I don't think it would be comfortable to wear next to other rings. Oura needs to update the sizing kit. So far it has been durable. I've worn it since I've gotten it aside from one charge up. I see absolutely no marks or scratches on it as of yet. Oura says to just wipe with soap and water. I've heard of a special cloth if it gets scuffs, but it wasn't included. Battery life has been great. Definitely a week of use with 15% left. It takes about an hour and twenty minutes back to full. I'll probably pop it on the charger every day when I shower, then never really worry about it. The app is really nice. There is a lot of data but it's well laid out and easy to learn. It's impressive how much this little ring can track. You'll use it for tracking workouts, running, taking walks, tracking your sleep and stress levels and more. You can join up with family, friends, or coworkers with the circles for fun competitions. There's a food section so you can keep track of and better monitor what you eat through out the day. Women can monitor their cycles. After enough data it can help give warning when and if your getting sick. There's soo much stuff. I've heard a lot of people complain about the monthly six dollar fee and while it's not great, the app is soo comprehensive it's worth it. Just skip one coffee out and there's your month paid. I really think this ring will improve you're overall wellness.

The Oura ring is quite impressive. I’ve used watches and bands before but I really think this is the way to go. I was skeptical at first but I absolutely love it. Build quality is amazing. I lift weights 5 days a week and I haven’t had any issues with scratches on the ceramic or anything yet. I mainly use machines at the gym that typically have plastic, rubber or foam handles so that may be why. I’m a little nervous to put it up against a steel/metal dumbbell or barbell. That being said, I think if you use gloves, you won’t have to worry about it. I also was able to get a polishing cloth sent by Oura for free but I haven’t had to use it yet. Setup was quick and easy and the app is very intuitive and easy to use. I enjoy using it. It’s a little overwhelming with all the different tabs, features, and options but once you go through it a couple of times it’s easy to get the hang of. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve discovered everything it has to offer because each time I go through the app, I learn something new. It is very comfortable. I don’t like to wear anything. Not watches, not rings, bands or anything. I just find it more comfortable to wear nothing but this ring is surprisingly comfortable. They say it’s a little thicker than the metal Oura rings but you get used to it. Or at least I did. It doesn’t bother me at all to wear it all day and night. I really wanted it to keep track of my sleep so I was a bit worried about comfort and wearing it at night but I’ve been wearing it for over a week and have no complaints on comfort at all. I wear a smart watch as well and I can tell the statistics of the ring appear to be very accurate. Especially the sleep metrics. I know when I have a bad nights sleep and every time, the Oura ring has been spot on letting me know I had a bad nights sleep and why. It’s also very accurate when I’ve had a good nights sleep. Activity, workouts, everything. The health metrics appear to be very accurate. Battery life is great. I will typically charge it when I take a shower or need to take it off to do something and don’t want to get it dirty or scratch it. It charges very fast. I’ve been able to wear it pretty much all day everyday with no battery issues by using this routine. Overall I feel like this is a great investment if you are wanting to track your health metrics and do it comfortably. I like the ring for this because it’s a no distraction, almost invisible way to track your health. It’s the only purpose. I don’t get texts or email alerts with it. It’s sole purpose is to track your health. I highly recommend it!

I Love How This Ring Looks and Works!

I took some time writing this review because the Oura Ring 4 has a lot to offer, and I wanted to make sure I experienced as much of it as I could before I submitted this review. To start. I wanted to address the initial question that I had about this product. My question being is the price worth the cost? After using it for several days, the answer to this question I came to is an unequivocal YES!. I absolutely love the Oura Ring 4. It is so worth the cost. It looks and feels great on my hand. In addition to the attractive finish, the performance is likewise great. It does everything a smart watch or fitness band does, but in a much smaller form factor. I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for the features it provides and enjoys wearing rings. The product that I am reviewing is the Oura Ring 4 2025 version. The device packaging is simple and easy to open. In the package is the ring and the charging cradle. Make sure you don't throw the cradle away because without it the ring can't be charged. Likewise make sure you don't misplace the cradle. Download the Oura App to set up the ring for use. The App walks you through the setup process and explains the ring and App features. An email address is required to complete the setup and create an account. After the ring was paired to my iPhone I just wore the ring and forgot about it. After a while I checked the App and was greeted with a nice assortment of features to dive into and get information about myself and my daily activities. I have a few smart watches and found that the information provided is similar to what I get from a smart watch. One thing I especially liked was that I was not bombarded by notifications. I set a few areas to get notifications from and was subtly reminded that it was: time to get up and stretch my legs or that bedtime was approaching. One area that I was looking forward to testing was how well the Oura ring tracked my sleep. I made sure to check it in the morning for the first few days to see what the results would be. The first day it tracked and rated my sleep quality very accurately. It consistently not only measured my sleep times, but it also rated my sleep quality and perfectly separated the various stages of sleep. During the course of the week I checked my body measurements and was able to track my heart rate and exercise levels. I compared the Oura Ring measurements to my smart watch and found the results to match well. I have a high degree of confidence in the Oura Riing 4 and the readings it provides. I strongly recommend getting the Oura sizing kit if you are seriously considering this product. It helped me size the ring perfectly, and I chose a size that would allow me to wear it on several fingers on both hands. The ring is ceramic and feels very light weight. If you are used to wearing rings you will barely notice that it is there. It has a stylish look to it and I love how it looks and feels on my hand. After wearing it for about a week I have not noticed any scratches or damage to the ring surface from the occasional scrape or hit. So far the finish is holding up quite well. It is water resistant and I showered with it every day and the ring was completely unaffected by the shower water. After I set up the App, I received an offer from Oura for a free ceramic cleaning pad. I accepted the offer and received the cleaning pad in a few days. Included with the ring is a 1 month of free service. After that a monthly subscription fee will apply to use some of the rings features. I am still in the full service phase, so I can not comment intelligently on how well the App functions after the free trial expires. After using the Oura Ring 4 for about a week I can say that I absolutely love it! It has an attractive finish that goes well with any outfit and in any environment. I especially like that I can choose to not wear my smart watch and wear this product instead in situations where I don't want to wear a watch. Yes it is expensive, but in my opinion well worth the price. I have been wearing this ring constantly since I received it, and plan to continue doing so. That vote of confidence in of itself, should completely relay my complete satisfaction with the Oura Ring 4.
