This is a must before purchasing the oura ring. Wearing different size rings during the day and overnight makes you aware of how your fingers may swell from time to time. Really helps to identify which fingers the oura ring fits on the best. I also took a ring that was well fitting and placed it on one of the sizes, to assist with my decision.

Definitely needed and worth it before purchasing! I winged it and bought my normal size at first then had to return it and buy a sizing kit... They give you a $10 gift card to put towards the purchase of the ring (or anything in the store).

Don’t skip this important step. I wish I had gone a few more days. REVIEW At first, I was skeptical on the value of the ring kit. It was very helpful in finding the right finger and size. For example, I started with a size 11 and my left index finger. Overnight, I guess my fingers swell up a little, and the #11 was uncomfortable and I could not easily remove it, so I went to a size 12 which fit a lot better. Because I was leaving on a trip shortly, I called it good enough and ordered the #12. I wish I spent more time with the ring kit. As I went through my daily routines for a week with the real ring, I came to hate it on my Left Index Finger. I only had one other finger that fit, and that was my right middle finger. I would suggest that you take at least a full week to make sure that you give the ring a test run in all your situations. In my case I had only tested in on a weekend where I had nothing going on. As the week progressed, I found the ring getting in the way of a lot of things. RECOMMENDATION 100% recommend you get and use this sizing kit for at least a week before investing so much on a ring and not being perfectly happy.

The Oura ring sizing kit for OURA Ring 4 is pretty straight forward. It comes in a nice secure package that has ring sizes from 4-15. They are very durable plastic ring molds that mimic the Oura ring with its nodes and grooves. If you are looking to purchase an Oura ring, this kit is a must have to ensure you have the right size. For me I initially thought I would want a size 12, but after the recommended 24 hours I was more comfortable with a size 13. The main reason being is my activities and the snugness when doing activities felt uncomfortable at a size 12. I switched out to a size 13 and my finger did not have any discomfort at all. Testing out the ring, I would advise prospective buyers to do your normal routines and then some other activities. I mowed the lawn, cleaned the garage and even swam with it. These differetn activities gave me the idea of how my hands would swell and decrease. Nothing worse than an over snug ring when you are swollen from working outside in the heat. To buy an Oura ring, you first pick up their ring sizing kit, either in-store or have it shipped. Choose the size that fits and wear it for a day to make sure it's comfortable. To ensure your comfort while checking your size, the bumps and cutouts in each of the the sizer rings match the actual ring. I love that they go up to a size 15! Once you determine your best size, you can go back to your local Best Buy store to make your purchase and take home your ring immediately or you can scan the barcode on the back of the box and place the order with your phone and then have your ring shipped to you. My previous ring was shipped via FedEx and arrived very quickly. Having lost a significant amount of weight, this ring sizing kit made it easy for me to verify my ring size did go down. I am very glad that I got this ring sizing kit prior to receiving my new Oura ring. If you are going to invest in an Oura ring it is worth it to insure that you are buying the correct size. Included in the kit are twelve different ring sizes. The included ring sizes are 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. These are the standard ring sizes and will fit the vast majority of finger sizes. It is critically important that after a ring size is selected, that you wear the sizing ring for a minimum of at least 24 hours. If you are able to wear the sizing ring for a couple of days more, even better. I wore it for over 2 days before I selected a final size. This is because ringers swell and contract over time. Wearing the sizing ring for at least 24 hours will allow you to evaluate the selected size throughout the day. I was lucky enough to select a size that will fit more than one finger on each hand. Now that I have selected a size I am very much looking forward to receiving and wearing my new Oura ring.

I was planning to buy the Oura Ring 4 and decided to get the Free Sizing Kit. The sizing kit came with 12 different sizes ranging from 4 to 15. There are no half size and it is slightly different from the standard ring sizes which can be adjusted with half size. The ring kit made with strong plastic and very comfortable to wear it for 24 hours as suggested to measure the comfort level before buying the actual ring. I did not feel any discomfort of wearing this test kit for 24 hours even with summer heat and dry weather and the actual ring wearing experience definitely different than wearing a test kit. It would be great if Oura come up with half size rings in the near future to allow perfect fit for most of the users. I would suggest to get the next size rather than getting the exact finger size as the fingers can expand based on environmental factors. The free sizing kit is great idea to get the perfect size rather than buying the actual ring and returning it if the size did not fit well.

The nicely packaged kit consists of twelve white plastic rings on a card holder. Each ring is clearly marked with its size, ranging from tiny (#4) to Hulk size (#15). The sizing rings are accurate avatars of the actual Oura Ring 4, with the same exterior dimensions and indentations on their inner surfaces which reflect the actual sensors on the inside of the Oura Ring 4. Each of the white sizing rings has its size posted in raised letters on the side and the card holder has the matching numbers for easy selection. So how do you decide which finger to select for the Oura Fitness Ring? Oura says that the ring can function on any finger, but recommends that you place it on your index finger. I was a bit surprised when the Oura Ring 4 sizing kit arrived and I opened it up. There were twelve rings of various sizes all neatly laid out by size, from size 4 to size 15. But what surprised me was the quality of the rings. When I think of something being "free," I always tend to expect a cheap-ish low quality item. Not so with the Oura-Ring ring sizing kit. The rings are high quality plastic-like material made to look like the Oura Ring itself, grooves and all. I don't wear rings as a rule, and had no idea even what size I wear. I started off with the size 12 ring, but it only took an hour or so for me to realize it was too big, so I picked the size 11. I actually wore it for two days, and it fit perfectly. I was a little concerned when I washed my hands because I thought it might try to slip off, but not so. Like I said, I don't wear rings, so I got a good taste of what to expect even when washing my hands. Each ring in the kit is clearly embossed with its size so there will be no wondering later on as to what size you have on. This showed me there was a lot of thought that went into the design of this sizing kit, and that makes me even more comfortable knowing the actual Oura-Ring itself will no doubt be of outstanding quality as well. The sizing kit is well made of quality material, and should I decide to purchase rings to wear on any of my other fingers, the sizing kit will let me know exactly what size to get. I appreciated the full range of ring sizes in the kit. They recommend wearing it for 24 hours and that’s what I did. If you’re wondering if wearing an extra ring would bug you while you sleep, this is great for testing that out, too. By having the different sizes, I was able to try it on different fingers with different sizes at my leisure, as I was even trying to figure out which finger I want to wear this ring on. Since the sizers come in white, I could see what a light color might look like. I used a marker on one side to give me a feel for what a darker color might look like. If I’d just tried one on in the store for a few minutes, I may have selected the wrong size, so having a kit that lets you wear a size for many hours is helpful. The sizers even have little nibs on the inside and reassured me that the interior of the actual Oura ring won’t bother me, as I can be sensitive to textures.
