Great product easy to install plug and play for a trailblazer 2007

I paid more for this than the aftermarket stereo that I purchased, because I wanted my OnStar to still work, and my steering wheel controls to still be functional. Check the boxes on both...it worked. However, you need a cavernous space to fit the control box, chime module, and all of the wiring. I installed in a Buick Rendezvous, which fortunately had a cavernous space. It also had a pretty large plastic intrusion into the space behind the radio, which interfaced with the old head unit, but was rendered totally useless with the new head unit. I cut it out with a dremel tool...not a major deal. Nevertheless, it was extremely difficult to fit in the large control box, chime module and all of the wiring and still have room for the stereo unit. I made it work by stacking the control box ON TOP OF the stereo unit. If you really don't have a large space behind the radio, you will have major difficulty getting all of the components to fit behind the stereo. Also, the head unit I bought (Pioneer, which Best Buy recommended as the best fit for my vehicle) came with a wired external microphone. I was hoping that the system would interface with, and incorporate, the integrated OnStar microphone...but no such luck. To synch it with a cell phone (the main reason I replaced the factory stereo), you MUST connect and use the small wired microphone. I must say, though, that with the wired mic, it works very well...seamlessly synched with my iPhone, and even allows voice dialing, which has worked flawlessly so far.

This is great unit- no wire cutting, no headaches deciding what wire is what in a dark cavernous hole where the factory radio once sat. You can literally wire 95% of the radio sitting at your kitchen table (I did). Follow the guide that accompanies this unit and match the colors up to the wire harness that came with the radio going back in. It’s as simple as that!! I soldered each connection and heat shrunk (shrinked?!?!) each wire for a secure, long lasting connection and then TESA taped the harness for security and OEM looks. Walked it outside, plugged in the harnesses (the other 5%) and bolted the radio back into place. Eureka! A quick turn of the key powered up the radio and EVERYTHING factory still worked too!! Door chimes, steering wheel controls, Seatbelt dinger (grrr) and even the turn signal clicker still clicks. It’s a beautiful piece of equipment to so seamlessly integrate a new piece of tech into such an aging vehicle. Gives the vehicle such a new life and adds features that would cost thousands in a new vehicle. My wife absolutely loves her old TrailBlazer and now wants to rim it out and put a lift on it... thanks PAC... not exactly what I wanted to do with that vehicle. Lol- your device and our aftermarket radio have breathed a new life into the old Chevy for sure. Thanks!

Worked as should and very easy to install. Was glad to have steering wheel controls work. Still working great after 2 years. Installed on 2003 Silverado 1500

Definitely worth the money in my opinion, especially when most of the new car stereos don't have any actual knobs! I hate having to navigate through screens just to adjust the volume or jump to the next song. Makes it so much easier the be able to retain the factory steering wheel controls.

This worked better than expected. Everything worked as factory. The Onstar, rear seat entertainment system and the steering wheel controls worked seamlessly. Very happy with this module.

Was able to wire this up to a aftermarket stereo for my 07 z06 Corvette easily. Everything including the steering wheel controls and key in ignition ding still worked.

This made my install of my Pioneer AVH-2550NEX so easy. The wires were perfectly colored and easily identified so wiring was super simple with no real experience required. Maintained my steering wheel controls and made wiring in a backup camera a snap.

I've used this interface on 3 different GMT800 trucks and it has always worked like a charm, and is an install with easy to understand instructions. It has all the features you could need.

Had to purchase this interface kit to link my Avalanche and the new radio together. Didn’t want to, HAD to. If you want the steering wheel controls, and Onstar features your truck has, it is a must. And with all the wires for cameras and other things it is a bear to figure out. Had the installer wire it together and I installed it. That part was easy. Our installer was not qualified yet to do any work as he was still taking tests. Had to wait for almost 2 months to get that wiring done.

This wiring harness made connecting my new head unit to my 06 pontiac grand prix 1000x easier than without it. Good luck trying to do it without it. I can still use my steering wheel controls with it. I didn't give it 5 stars because as we were putting the new head unit in its place, the power connection would keep disconnecting. We just had to push in the head unit and hope the power stayed on. Now that it's in, the power has never disconnected. Just a nuisance while installing

This product works really well just as described only problem was that it’s a universal dash kit him that was not explained to me so I had to do a little research to figure out exactly how to make it fit in my 2002 GMC envoy SLE. But it’s in looks great love it and would change it if I could it was a learning experience and I always appreciate. If you’re looking for a radio – install kit this is definitely the one that I go with

This item was needed so my steering wheel controls continued to work with the new Kenwood radio. This weekend I had aa chance to try it out and everything worked as promised. Thanks Joe Barbaro!

I bought this a year ago as part of a new system installation, also dome at Best Buy, so I would have hands free operation of my phone and the ability to play music from my phone. Everything works great together. Clean professional installation. Hard to tell it's not factory. A year later and absolutely no issues. This made all my factory steering wheel controls work perfectly.

The radio works well. There are mixed reviews on the web about whether or not you need to install a microphone in your car. (You will…it is not in the radio itself.). There are other items you have to purchase before the radio can be installed and used. Another item is the XM antenna. Ours had to be mounted outside of our vehicle otherwise we didn’t have good XM service. The installers said the antenna will probably need to be replaced every couple years wirh it being out the outside of the Hummer. It is easy to use and now works well wirh the antenna being moved to the outside of the vehicle. Just know that you will have additional expenses but the Best Buy left me know before the install. This was helpful so I knew all parts were in stock before taking the car to the install appt. Best Buy installers were very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Best Buy installers but I may look at other radios before making the final decision on this one.

Well they worked, not much more to say. Price was good, shipping was good….installation was great, had Best Buy install …they did a very good job. My new stereo sounds wonderful.
