A: Any settings done in the factory radio will be retained after replacing it with the RP5-GM51 and your aftermarket radio. However, if you wish to modify the personal settings you would either need to reinstall the factory radio to do so, or purchase the PAC-UP interface updater and leave it connected in the truck, and use a laptop with the PAC-Audio Vehicle Settings App to change them
A: This is me answering my own questions after purchase. Yes, it does work with Bose, it has warning chimes & steering wheel controls. You WILL have to buy the antenna harness separately (does not come with).
