Q: Do i need a parking brake bypass ?
A: If you want to avoid having to be in Park to access the settings, just crimp the parking brake wire (color codes included) to your 12V switched from your ignition. The receiver will think you're always in park, and all settings will be accessible.
Q: Does this retain Bose system speakers to work on install with nothing else needed?
A: Yes you can use the original Bose system with this. Please read the instructions when installing it. The part has two options where to plug harness into. 1) amplified 2) non amplified. The sound between the two is a big difference.
