I called my husbands cellphone and I walked around the house and to the mailbox I had great reception. We bought the four phone set and placed one in our barn to have when outside. I would recommend.

We want it for emergencies in particular and actually keeps our cable and internet bundle less expensive. Battery life is terrible.

They used Lithium batteries and these use cheap NiMh one that don't hold charge more that 7 or 8 hours even when phone is not used.
