I purchased this computer because my 9 years old Dell laptop was too slow. The HP Pavilion desktop is amazingly fast. If you had slow computer like me it'll surprise you by its speed. It takes ony 10 seconds to boot up & 5 seconds to shut down. The SSD really makes this desktop pc super fast. And it is too quiet too. I can barely hear it humming. I used it to livesream on youtube and it handled it well. My only wish is if the optical drive slides out instead of popping out. Over all this desktop is a must have with affordable price. Pros: - Fast, quiet, Space saver, well built, drop box cloud 25 GB storage free for one year, Cyberlink power media player Cons: - mouse is noisy when clicked, Keyboard is not professional standard (quality)

Despite the greater storage capabilities, it has a smaller footprint overall than my older Gateway. I have tons of pictures and files, so I wanted something that would handle it all for quite some time. Still learning the new software and what some of the new features are, but it's fast and quiet. Pleasure to use.

This model has more memory than the one that was a step down from it but I wish it had more SD slots like the cheaper one. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I have no complaints. I like the compact style. It does everything I need it to.

I had one of those crappy mini towers before I decided to upgrade to a regular size tower. This one has been good so far. No complaints, would definitely recommend it.

I cannot give a good review have not learned it yet. I have tried to use my Quicken program with this and it is not working proberly and it could possiblely be me because I am not very savey with computers. It keeps wanting me to use the Microsoft Edge when I have always used Chrome so I may have to take it into Geek Squard or call them and see what I am doing wrong.

Title says the main thing. For what this desktop cost it is a great buy. Though the I3 is slightly older, for home use it zips right along. With the SSD drive, boot up is practically instaneous, programs load right up, Tons of storage on the 1TB HDD. Graphics are good with just the onboard gpu, though for gaming I'd probably use an add-on card.

    Great Tower for Everyday Use

This tower came equipped with a Samsung 128 PCIE SSD and a Toshiba 1TB 7200RPM Drive. After configuring the computer to install everything new to the HDD instead of the small high speed SSD, this thing was amazing. Small form factor allowed me to put it right on my TV stand and use it as a media center PC using the HDMI connection to a surround sound receiver. Cons to consider: 1. Only comes with a 180 watt power supply. 2. Expansion for a graphics card is limited. Can only fit a single fan 1050TI max and would most likely need to replace the Power Supply. 3. Only saw 2 Sata connections 1 for your HDD and 1 for your CD/DVD drive. If you want to add another HDD you will need to unplug the CD/DVD Drive. (There is a spare Power connecter already in the tower). 4. AirFlow is a little weak with the only intake on the side of the case. This this is amazing for a media center PC or every day PC; however for gaming, you may want to choose another tower.

What a price for such a powerful toaster!

This is almost the size of a toaster but it is really powerful! First off I am not a fan of integrated graphics cards but wow this one didn't disappoint. First things first it sounds pricey but switch out the single 8gb memory and upgrade to a Corsair or PYN 3.2 ghz 16gb memory. 8 gb is fast but what a kick when you put in the 16gb one! My primary computer is a MAC, ...sorry. Anyway I bought this computer to run an arcade machine I set up and ohhh wow this thing is powerful and fast! The start up is lighting fast... yes faster than my new MAC book Pro. :( It's light and compact and great for so many uses. We ditched the family pc that was in the living room and now only use this one. Great computer no problems at all. Only cons for me is the integrated graphics card I had a plan to beef that up but it turned out to not be necessary. Great buy!.... Best Buy! ... see what I did there? LOL Honestly buy it you wont regret it.

    Good Home Computer

The SSD is small (128Gb), it is large enough to hold the operating system and my most frequently used programs and the 1 TB conventional drive has all the data storage I will ever need. I use a 3TB stand alone to store my pictures and music that do not need to be stored permanently on my computer so 1TB is more than what I will ever need. Because of the SSD, the computer boot up only takes a few seconds and power down is very fast as well. I do not game on this computer so I could not say how it would do for that. I do web browsing, watch videos, pay bills and stream movies occasionally and I have no issues there. Only things that I could see being an issue for some is the size of the keyboard and mouse (smaller than standard) but as I already had both items from my previous HP, not an issue for me and the second you have to get used to the CD/DVD ROM being vertical instead of horizontal. It seemed rather flimsy but since I do not use it a lot, it is not a big deal as I use USB flash drives for storage. And as always, you have to get thru the usual bloatware that comes pre-loaded on the computer. Overall it is a fast, quiet computer and a good value for the money.

The specs and build quality made this a win on paper but in seeing it next to a lot of other systems on the showroom, it was an easy choice. It has a fast and well optimized ssd that Windows 10 boots on and a larger storage drive in addition. There is no space in the case for an additional drive. It was easy setup and had very little bloatware. McAfee had a laughable 30 day trial that was uninstalled. Office 365 has a laughable yearly renewal which I removed. Lastly, the price was right.

Bought the HP Pavilion 570 with 128 GB SSD + 1T HD to upgrade from a 14 year old HP desktop. Taking a while to get used to Windows 10 but no complaints about the new machine. Set up was relatively easy, even for a 72 yr old with limited tech knowledge. Removed a number of preinstalled programs I won't use, eg games, Installed MS Office Home and Webroot. Start-up is fast and overall performance is a big upgrade from what I was using. At $400 on sale it seems like a bargain.

I've bought two of these HP Desktop for my clients. The Specs are very good for a mid level computer. It's got an SSD to hold the Windows 10, 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB Hard drive for your data. But what I don't understand is why HP sets this up out of the box with the 1 TB drive unused. They should have your data files stored here, but instead, on the 2 units I received, everything was set up to be stored on the SSD. I even went to the step of calling HP about this and the entry level tech said it was because the SSD was faster and more reliable than the mechanical Hard Drive. Then why even put the hard drive in the machine if your not going to set it up to hold your data. So moving your data files from the SSD is about a 20 miinute task, but you need to do it correctly, you just can't copy and move the data folders to the drive, or the computer will not recognise them as the special system files that they are. But other than that, to get an i3 CPU, 8 GB of RAM, both a SSD and a large HDD, is a value buy in my book. Just make sure your data's being stored on the 1 TB and not the SSD. I would have given this 5 stars had it been set up corrrectly at the factory.

Only had this a short while and I'm very pleased with it so far..doesn't take up much space, it's on my table (instead of the floor) where I can easily put a cd or disc drive in the slots without bending ..it's fast too, have no problem with multiple tabs. I'm a light gamer, so don't need a super-duper pc--mainly use for browsing, emails, docs, etc. Plus, the price was great for me at the time I bought it!

I had never tried a PC with a SSD. My old quad core Win 7 machine used to take many minutes to boot. Even after I installed all the software I needed, this PC boots in 15-25 seconds. Backups and virus scans are so much faster too. The on chip graphics are not the fastest. However, they are good enough to run the Flightgear simulator with no issues.

I bought this PC to use in my office, mainly for SOHO activities. I do not game, so the performance is adequate for my needs; gamers look elsewhere. I upgraded the 8GB RAM to 16GB, seemed to help somewhat. The Boot-drive is a M.2 SSD, data is stored on the 1TB HDD. Boot times are not as fast as my 2 year old I3 laptop, so maybe the SSD they used is of low-quality (it is only 128GB). I am planning to upgrade the boot-drive to a Samsung 970 SSD, so will post the results at that time. If you plan on installing a separate graphics card, note that there isn't a lot of room to do so. The power supply is insufficient for a graphics card too. Overall, for a basic simple PC it works fine.

I purchased this for one of my property managers to use for everything from application processing to some light creative work (creation of flyers). I was initially attracted by the price but this is not your Dad's budget computer! It is FAST, and can do everything a computer 4 times it's cost will do.

After using this computer for 2 years now i can definitely say that this computer can pull its weight. I usually only use this computer for light work loads and internet browsing. It has a fast start up because of the SSD and overall is pretty fast when using applications. It has lasted 2 years with no problems, would recommend for light to medium use.

I chose this computer over similarly priced alternatives because of the solid state drive. While the SSD is small (128Gb), it is large enough to hold the operating system and my most frequently used programs and the 1 TB conventional drive has all the data storage I will ever need. Because of the SSD, boot up only takes a few seconds and software kept on this drive loads fast. Web browsing is more enjoyable as pages load much faster since the computer is no longer a limiting factor. I use the computer mainly for web surfing, MS Excel and Word, and Quicken so I don't know how it would perform for heavy computational needs but I suspect it would be great for the majority of uses.

Easy to set up and very quick. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's exactly what was needed to replace my 10 year old HP tower that was so obsolete it didn't even have a wireless card when I bought it in 2008. This tower is top notch and the best one for the money. Starts up FAST and shuts down in seconds.
