I already owned the cuff strap but once my gear load started getting heavier it was time to add this in my gear list. Perfect product. Holds my camera with my flash and removes slack from my hands. And the ability to remove with ease is a whole step within itself. On top of that you get a lifetime warranty with peak design on all of their products so you get a premium care service with the higher price you pay. Overall a great brand and product

I recently upgraded my camera strap from the strap that came with my camera (sony a7 IV) to this new model, and while I'm impressed with the overall quality and design, the release mechanism did take some getting used to. The first few times I tried to release the strap, I accidentally pinched my fingers. However, with a bit of practice, I've gotten the hang of it.
The strap itself is incredibly comfortable and well-made. The material feel premium, and the padding provides excellent support. The additional accessories were a pleasant surprise and add even more value to the purchase. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this camera strap.

I couldn't be happier with the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap. As an existing owner of other Peak Design products, this strap feels like the perfect, seamless addition to my kit. The quality and thoughtful design are exactly what I've come to expect from the brand.
From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a premium item. The strap itself is incredibly well-made, combining strength for my heavier gear with a surprising level of comfort for all-day shoots. The dual-sided webbing—smooth on one side for easy camera-to-eye access in sling mode, and grippy on the other for a secure over-the-shoulder carry—is simply brilliant.
The Anchor Link system is, as always, the star of the show. The quick-release mechanism is fast, secure, and makes swapping the strap between different bodies or removing it entirely for tripod use an absolute breeze. It's the kind of clever, integrated design that truly enhances the shooting experience.
An extra thank you goes out to the salesperson who assisted me with this purchase. Their helpfulness and product knowledge made the decision easy and reinforced the high-quality experience.
If you are already in the Peak Design ecosystem, the Slide strap is a natural and excellent upgrade. If you're new to the brand, this is the product that will make you a loyal customer. Highly recommended for its quality, versatility, and comfort!

Short Version: Very nice supple strap and well worth the price tag as it comes with a lifetime, zero-hassle warranty.
Long Version: I purchased this for my sony a6600 while I was out on vacation in California/Oregon/Washington State and it's been wonderful. Previously I used the peak design leash strap which is substantially thinner and henceforth digs into your neck. I found myself constantly not using the strap at all: resorting to the more barbaric single-handed no-strap method which was fine until I came very... very close to dropping my hard earned piece of magnesium bodied goodness off the side of a building.
You may think this strap is too big for the smaller mirrorless crop sensor lineup, but you'd be mistaken. The width and added neck support offer all day comfort by distributing your camera's weight over a larger surface area. That means the strap doesn't dig in and you're less likely to tuck away your camera because you won't notice any discomfort.
Adjustability? Uh, yes! This is the easiest most reliably adjustable strap I've ever seen/used. Flip the metal tab and slide to the length you desire, flip the tab again to lock it in place. Boom, just like that. The End.
Now to the price. I've seen reviews complaining that this is too expensive. Sure, in some regards it is, but I have an analogy for you. Imagine your camera is a very good rock climber. Now lets say instead of buying quality and durability prooven rope from an outdoors store, you buy a generic tweed rope at a quarter of the price. That rope if you haven't yet guessed is your strap. Are you going to trust a fall with a tweed rope and hope it holds, or get something that is specificlly built even over engineered to excel at what it's specifically made for? The choice is clear. And not to mention, you get a lifetime warranty with this peak design strap. In my own experience, Peak Design gives you zero trouble in making a claim and - for me at least - this is worth the price of admission.
Now the question is, will you put your trust in a tweed rope and deal with it's discomfort and possible failure? Or will you get something that's been tried and tested by thousands around the world and backed by a company that believes in it's products enough to offer lifetime warranties? Again, the choice is clear. Now get out of here and go take some pictures, gosh!

Peak Design is the go-to brand for anchors and ease of use straps.
I spent some detailed email threads with the Support team at Peak Design prior to making the purchase.
Looking for a solution to haul the Sony FE200600 G with a ILCE-7RM4 body and dual Z100 battery grip with comfort and strength. The PD support crew had directed me on the correct way to observe if there's any overuse of the anchors. The 3rd Generation of anchor materials appear to be much more formidable than the first two Gen sets I currently own.
The strap is so much easier on the shoulders and the ease of use allows for quick access so as not to miss any unexpected wildlife.
Most likely I'll go for a second kit of this strap to have in the quiver.
The key in any purchase at any price level is when in doubt, reach out to the support team and get your correct answers to your questions, this make the purchase easy, simple and without regret or returns.

Peak design makes the best accessories for camera gear. I cannot recommend their products enough. I bought this strap for a trip where I was going to be carrying the camera a lot. The strap is comfortable, light, and made with quality. The snaps allow me to remove the strap and switch to the wristband as needed. Absolutely fantastic ecosystem of camera accessories which Peak Design has made.

I was hesitant at first about using this on my $1,700 SONY RX10 iv, but I have been completely satisfied! I’ve used it at least a 1/2 dozen times now, several hours each time. It’s easy to put on the camera and easy to use. I (personally) can’t stand a strap around my neck and this works like a charm (over the shoulder/neck). The camera is easy to hold & use while the strap is attached. It’s very comfortable as well. The connections snap very tightly to ensure the camera stays on the strap, yet easily to unsnap as well when needed. I haven’t tried it with the tripod connect yet. I am very happy with this purchase. I had Rewards ($), so it made it even better when purchasing it.

This strap helps keep my camera secure. This is my second time purchasing this strap. I had my Nikon D810 with it's original strap and it did not secure it. My camera fell to the ground. I came across Peak Design and I love the comfort and how it holds my camera. My D810 has not fallen thankfully. I purchased this one for my D850

Exactly what i need it. The quality is the best, super strong, love that my camera doesn't have to keep the strap the whole time, which makes my shooting and experience waaay easier. Comes with a base that can be use with your camera aswell or like me that I use it on my 300mm F4 Lens.

Quick release adjust is fantastic, and able to adjust for different ways to use the strap. Also can easily remove with the anchor system when not using. Highly recommend.

This strap feels silky and it's way more comfortable than the basic Sony ones. I love the quick release and the fact that it comes with extra quick attachments makes it more convenient to switch carry positions. I put one on my 200-600 so i could carry it more

Wow is all I can say. I hate having a neck strap attached to my camera because if I put the camera on my tripod now I have the strap dangling and possibly blowing in the wind. I wanted a strap to help support the weight of my large lens and as a bit of security so the camera wouldn’t get knocked out of my hands while in large crowds. The ease of use and the ease at which I can remove this strap from my camera when I don’t need it is awesome. Even though this strap is a bit on the pricey side I would suggest it over and over again to anyone thinking about buying a good strap for their camera.

I love the long strap and the quick release; it is an essential part of my gear. This is my 3rd one, every camera I buy in the future will have one on it.
