Does a decent job when shaving wet, however burned my neck. I replaced it by 5700, $10 more but a much closer shave with much less burns

I got this because a regular razor gives me really bad razor burn. While I'm happy to report that the razor burn is gone, this razor misses sports and makes your shave look patchy instead of clean and smooth. I have found that using this razor with a shaving cream helps a little, but still not the shave I was expecting for a razor that cost more than $100.

Looks like a very good, special shaver, but in reality it is very average. Nothing special, works but that's about it. Would I recommend it to a friend, maybe

I like the way I can tilt it and get around the jaw and cheeks. It's also very good for trimming my mustache. The battery life is good, long enough for a good shave.

I would totally recommend this razor for anyone that wants a beginner type electric razor. A few questions that I did have were answered quickly by the staff at the Best Buy and I greatly appreciate all your help and I'm happy to have purchased this product.

I had used a manual double-blade shaver for over 5 years. Prior to that I was using an electric shaver. Back then my skin was well adjusted to the electric shaver in give and take 3 weeks. Now, my skin still not adjusted. I still get razor burns and the shaver doesn't do a clean shave. For now, I give it 3 stars. I will change this to 4 or 5 stars once my skin has fully adjusted, i.e. no more razor burns. I have had the electric shave for 4 weeks.

HS8420 gives much closer shave and te head thickness is small allowing easier access to contours of the face

Excellent blades. No rash at all. I am usually allergic to this kind of shavers but not with this one.

Great features. Does the job. Two year warranty is a plus from Phillips.

Great deal for the price, only issue I have is the head take a little bit to cut hair. Have to reshave some areas to get good shave

Good. hopefully taking the head off and on will not be a problem when you use the trimmer

The razor feels really good in my hand and is easy to manipulate around the face and in tough spots to reach. the only negative is that you Must remove head to put on trimmer attachment rather than it being a part of the razor.

Shaving around my protruding chin is much easier with the dual action movement of the head and the head surface. I like it.

Good product at a good price! It does, however, seems to have a little trouble with tough whiskers. Does well with square jaw.

Exactly what I expected gives a average shave for someone in a rush. Good if you want to get the sexie stubble look

This razor does a great job in a short amount of time. I have had no issues with irritation. It is the closest shave I have ever had with an electric razor.

My son loves the new shaver we bought him for his birthday. he likes that he can use it as a wet or dry shaver.
