This is by far the best performing electric razor I have ever owned. In the original Norelco style, Braun and other competitors cannot compare to this model.

The second best razor available, but still not in 3d.

Throughout that entire year, 2015, I went through 4 replacement handles. The handle contains the rechargeable batteries. The batteries that originally came with the unit started not fully recharging and than stopped all together. I was sent replacement that all did the same thing. I would be better off, taking this unit to Goodwill, getting a tax right off and starting over with another brand. Think twice before purchasing a Phillips Norelco product.

I bought this one to replace my other nerelco shaver that lasted for the past 3 years. This one was a great upgrade, and I can tell its going to last a long time. Great value

I've always owned a Norelco razor. This one is even better than my old one.

I have been using electrics for 30 plus years. I have used various brands including Norelco and have always had good luck even with some of the bargain priced shavers I have used. This one simply doesn't work very well. Performance is lousy, takes longer to shave with other electrics, the charging system is cumbersome and the trimmer is a separate attachment. I thought I was getting a decent product but definitely not. Stay away from this model.

I bought this model as an replacement for my older one. It is OK to use but the close share which I was expecting is not there. Will have to wait and see for how long these blades will last.

I don't have a thick beard by any means & have given this shaver two months to break in, shaving every day to every other day. Before the 1150x, I had a Norelco CoolSkin (6711x) that I've had for about 7 years & only replaced the heads once. it gave me a clean, close shave after the first or second pass. Using the 1150x I have to go very slow with multiple passes & directions while looking in the mirror to get the hairs it missed. Looking at the shave heads, the 1150x has only 9 blades compared to 15 in my older model, which could be part of the reason. Regardless, I am very disappointed & have actually went back to using my older shaver.

I purchased this shaver last spring, and though it worked like an average shaver for a couple of months, it is not worth the money. One of the shaving heads got loose and came off, and I, after spending MUCH time on trying to fix it, could not. I ended up throwing it away. I will go with a Remington Shaver, and will never, never, purchase a Norelco shaver again! Take warning, and you'll save yourself much money and time.

Doesn't cut close enough and you keep having to go over the same spot a number of times, therefore takes longer to shave. never feels The detachable trimmer stinks. The charging stand is combersome and awkward.
