I bought this item to record all my tests at my school able to listen to questions and answers anywhere I go and just got a 100% on my test— was worth every cent now I put all my address and customer in order as well as there address’ and I’m able to listened to all the information with my ear pods that came with it! I’m buying a second one to leave in my car in case I for get it at work or at home! Buy one— I’m telling you your life would be better-/ a time saver and it’s your memory in a nut shell

Once you read the manual the product becomes simple to use. You will want to familiarize yourself with the functions of the device. A couple newspaper articles were read into the device purchased. From fourteen to twenty inches of a person the device can record clearly. The device purchased has only been used as a toy. The design makes the device simple to store in a brief case or backpack.

I bought this recorder for my daughter. She likes to record herself playing the piano. The recorder is small but easy to use. Listening to the saved recordings are clear without any static noise.

This is a great little voice recorder. I am a paranormal investigator and use these constantly during an event. It is simple to use and very easy to connect to a computer. Plan on buying more.

too much electronics like 40 r so different tracks the instruction manual is a blur. For some one into this type recorder its a great buy. I just want a old fashion tape recorder start, record, stop, rewind listen

Having owned several Digital Voice Recorders during my working years, I decided that I needed a new one to use in my part-time self-employment function so that I could record issues in real-time rather than texting info into a phone. I give this Phillips - VoiceTracer Digital Voice Recorder 8 a relatively high rating of 4 - it was not difficult to figure out at all. It worked just like the old ones I used to use. Unfortunately, I could not give it a "5" rating due to a malfunction during the Recording process. This event began a week after my first usage of it. On a recording early one morning, I recorded about 30 seconds of information and stopped the recording process. However, I did not realize it until much later, that the unit had continued to record sounds for 45 minutes after I had 'stopped' the recording. This happens consistently and so my fail-safe processing is to dislodge one of the batteries in order to get the recorder to stop recording. Other than that, it works superbly well.

It is a good size recorder. However, I thought it was difficult to operate.

Easy to use, clear playback, convenient front shirt pocket size. Batteries last a long time.

Works great, sound is good and I am able to figure out through trial and error how to operate cause it does not come with paper manual. Box says use setting menu for manual but I am no able to pull it up. I did look at reviews before purchasing and thought it would fine for what I needed and the price was within my budget. I would not purchase again.

Unfortunately, I did lose this item. Before I did I found the unit below my expectations. The recordings weren't very crisp and the unit would turn itself on at inappropriate times.

The buttons are a bit confusing. I was testing some of the features and some don't work as the instructions say it should. It does what is meant, quality of sound is decent.
