Great unit, I have it paired with 4 Pioneer TS-A 3way 6.5 speakers. I was worried that the rms would be weak (14rms) to drive my speakers, but it does a great job delivering enough power to push clean sound and great range thru my 50rms speakers, they don't sound restricted at all. The Bluetooth works flawlessly and I'm very pleased with my purchase. The installation department (Derrick) is top notch. I was a little suprised by the rates BB charges, but after my experience I feel it's definitely a great deal considering the level of professionalism and the quality of work he does. I won't be going anywhere else for my install needs...

The directions included were not great, but with the help of a U-Tube video it went in pretty quickly. I installed this in my daughter's car and she said it sounded better than the $400 Alpine stereo I replaced. There is a Microphone that you can mount where it's most convenient, and hooking up to her Bluetooth phone was easy. There is no CD player, but the radio, USB and plug in jack provide plenty of alternatives so that you don't even miss it.

I was originally going for the pioneer model MVH-X380BT at my local Best Buy store, but after reading this car stereo was going for $39.99 on Black Friday, i decided on this stereo instead and i'm not disappointed. I was worried since there weren't any reviews on this product. This stereo does NOT PLAY CDS. It's meant for bluetooth streaming, hands free phone calls, radio, aux, and usb. I had it installed at my local shop. It does not have controller, everything is done from the main nob menu. I just turn on my bluetooth setting on my phone wait a few seconds and it automatically connects. I did have to set it up the first time. I can access my cell contacts from the stereo too, i used the hands free feature a couple of times and they tell me i sound clear. I was worried if the speakers were going to cause an echo while calling but no complaints. This car stereo comes with a microphone, i placed my mic next to the steering wheel. For some reason every time i connect my bluetooth it starts playing music from my spotify app. No biggie... i compared the other pioneers, kenwood, and sony car stereos and this stereo offers pretty much the same as the others except for the iPhone/ipod ready feature. For 40 dollars this is a steal, especially with a trusted brand like Pioneer. Very happy with my new car stereo. I have an 07 Scion TC.

Had a no name brand $25 unit from amazon and it was great, however, it did not have AM tuner. Picked this up on Thursday, day before black friday, and installed it the next. Bluetooth is awesome since it was able to access my iphone's address book. You can see missed and recent calls when you hit the telephone button and scroll through your contacts. Called my wife to test the sound quality and she didn't know I was in the car and said the sound was clear. I also like this unit better because it goes better with the red gauge and cluster lights in my Tacoma, which gives it a factory feel.

The stereo was an "upgrade" from a previous Pioneer system I had. In parts it is both a better and worse radio. It is only worse because I am no longer able to use a remote control with it which is super helpful when changing stations or raising/lowering the volume. It is better because it comes with an integrated USB port for connecting your phone to it for music playback or charging. It also comes equipped with Bluetooth which is why I got it. The Bluetooth works well, albeit me having to raise the volume all the way up on whatever media I am playing off the phone (or tablet), and then adjust the volume on the radio itself. For the price, it is a good head unit.

The radio reception is great in FM, much better than stock factory radio, also the sound quality is good, with adequate power output. The USB mp3 feature is great and I use it often in the radio wastelands driving between Fresno and LA, and LA and Texas. The Bluetooth cell phone feature is really great. I love these Pioneer stereos so much I have one in my Passat, one in my VW camper van, one in my Land Cruiser and one in my daily driver. Each time I got the newer version of the radio, so the control layout remained the same and familiar to me, and each newer model had more features. Awesome car stereos.

As in North Dakota, all that is butter is good! I purchased this stereo mainly because of the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only does it do that and sound great from the other end, it's also Apple/iPod compatible which is pretty cool for using iTunes and Pandora. Let my review serve as another reminder that this stereo is NOT equipped with a CD player (which is perfectly fine). Other than that, definitely 5-stars for the price I paid!

I was attracted to this car receiver by its low price and the compact mounting size. Easy to wire up using proper new beetle harness, and fit perfectly into adapter plate for the dash. Plays with nice sound. Sensitive receiver. USB and patch cord ports on front. Nice remote mic for Bluetooth phone. A bit convoluted to match iPhone, but phone works well and music sounds great. Easy connections for remote amp/subwoofer.

I bought this Pioneer for my son and got it on sale for 50% off the $80 price! The features are long from Bluetooth to MP3 and USB jack. It also has great sound with 200 watt power! When I was growing up a unit like this would have been at least $500. Crazy how technology has gotten a lot less expensive. A Pioneer back then for $80 would have been from a guy in a trench coat in an alleyway. Just sayin.

Bought this on Black Friday deal for $40 and it works just as good as any car stereo. For anyone else that's looking to buy this, just know that this unit DOES NOT plays CDs. It has USB port but it doesn't support iPod/iPhone control through the USB. I knew before hand about the lack of those two features but since I don't have any CDs anymore and was primarily looking to use its Bluetooth with my iPhone 7 Plus, it works really great for that and this stereo gives a lot more control through Bluetooth that a separate Bluetooth dongle will give you. Definitely recommend this and for this price it's a great deal

The radio is good. I was disappointed though, I thought it had a CD Player. I was thinking that I was getting everything you expect a radio to come with plus bluetooth. It worked well but I have no use for a radio that doesn't have a CD PLAYER so I took it back. I may not use my CD Player much, but I think every radio should have one. That's why I gave it 4 Stars.

Got this on Black Friday for cheap. Overall it is a good product with Bluetooth for what I paid. Because I did not pay more for one with more functionality, I didn't get things I overlooked like a 'Mute' button or a Remote. Geek Squad installers knew the product well and showed me how to use it and linked my phone to the Bluetooth. They were good and quick.

It was easy to install and looks really nice. I have a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu LS and it was easy to install it's just the deck wouldn't fit inside the installation kit with the faceplate on it as well. I had to take off the faceplate in order for it to fit. But even with out it , the stereo still looks really nice and the Bluetooth is great!

Nice cheap stereo for my backup vehicle. Easy install and sounds pretty good.
