I won’t be losing these smart earbuds!

This is a handsome pair of earbuds from Plantronics and the Backbeat GO is really flexible with my day to day needs. I will be honest that I have a uses for different headphones and these are for my gaming and workout needs.
Often I am wearing uncomfortable headphones that cover my ears for long gaming periods and that is why I wanted earbuds so that my ears and head wouldn’t get hot from extreme games as silly as it sounds. The neckband is very comfortable and unnoticeable which I have really enjoyed. Controls on the wire are standard like other earbuds and they work with all my Bluetooth devices.
As a quick side note you can synch multiple devices, download the application for the Backbeat and it opens up a new world of features. My favorite being the “find my headphones” feature where if they are lost or stolen it triggers a tone to go off on the earbuds so that you can find them. I’m pretty sure this if my favorite part and I hope I never have to use it but it is very cool.
The pouch it comes with is flat and easy to store in my backpack and the earbuds come with a wire for when I travel and use the auxiliary port on my Nintendo Switch. I once watched a reality show and learned the term “Two-fer” where you get two for one and that’s how I feel about the Backbeat GO because I can be wireless or fully wired for gaming sessions. I am bummed the microphone doesn’t work when connected to auxiliary port and the microphone does echo a lot but that’s a concession I will forgive.
Music plays amazingly and at the gym I can’t hear people slamming weights or my own breathing which is what prevents me from long runs because it distracts me. I ran these guys through a series of tracks from: Ill Divo, Debussey, Marshmellow with Bastille, and Kenny Rogers. The acoustics are airy and well-rounded while the bass is full and strong which gets my gym sessions going. I’m glad I got these just in time for time off during the holiday!

I’ll start this off by saying that I hate things that rest on my neck. I won’t wear necklaces or heavy hoodies, it’s always bothered me but with getting the new iPhone with no AUX port, I needed new headphones. I regularly attend the gym and figured these would be solid option since they’re Bluetooth wireless and won’t get in the way of my active lifestyle but was still hesitant about how comfortable they’d be on me.
Glad to report that my fears were unjustified.these headphones have a sleek look and are quite comfortable. Obviously you’ll be conscious of a wire hanging between your ears but it’s pretty discreet and not heavy at all. The material is plastic/rubber but smooth and doesn’t interfere.
The sound quality is surprisingly good, obviously it won’t be Bose quality but the bass is very noticeable in a good way.
You’ll notice in the attached pictures that the headphone had magnets in each end so that when the headphones come off, the magnets attach which turns off the power and Bluetooth, conserving the battery.
The battery has been averaging about nine to ten hours of run time between charges which is a bit above the standard for these type of headphones, another positive note.
A couple inches below the side of the headphone is a touch pad for volume control, voice control, and pausing/playing music. It’s easy to use, easy to learn, and very user friendly.
The last positive note for anyone who has an AUX jack in their phone is that, as pictured, the USB port can pop off and become an AUX plug, that way if the headphones lose battery and you aren’t near a charging port, you can plug the AUX cord in and start using the headphones without Bluetooth. It’s an incredibly intelligent design
In closing this is user friendly with good sound, structure, and quality features. I’d absolutely recommend this and look forward to continuing to use these headphones in the future.

I’m huge listednr to music and mostly use headset for better enjoyment. These earbuds are good dit and very comfortable in ears. Buds don’t fall off my ears and stay in. Qulaity of sound is good but not the best, the Actove noise canceling is great welcome. The most feature I liked in these pair is the magnetic sensors when latched it shuts off Active noise cancelling and BT to save bettery life for longer performance. Quality is super and storage pouch and USB charging cable with an option to use 3.5 audio is handy. PLT companion app on smart phone is useful to customiize audio from bass to bright and shows battery life.

I use these headphones for work. I've had them for about a month now, I find them pretty good. I've owned 3 LG headsets with retractable earbuds that I liked a lot, but their lifespan was pretty short. These are not heavy, the are comfortable, and have a great noise cancelling feature.
Integration with Google voice is pretty seamless. They aren't anything I would consider incredible, but I think they were worth the sale price I paid for them at $99. I do wish they were totally waterproof, but I'm happy with them. I was interested in good battery life, and solid noise cancelling as the primary features. These are not "the best ever", but quality to price ratio is on point. I did consider totally wireless ear buds, but I didn't want the opportunity to lose a single ear bud, so I bought these. I'm happy with my purchase.

As the name implies, these headphones are suitable if you need a quality Bluetooth 5, noise canceling headset while on the go.
The around the neck design means you won't lose or leave them behind if they fall out of your ear.
These are great for running errands around town, traveling in a busy airport, driving, biking, walking, cleaning the garage, working on the car, yardwork, etc.
The magnetic heads put it to sleep to save battery and prevent tangles.
They're equipped with Bluetooth 5. This means it's easier to switch between multiple devices (especially other BT5 devices).
The included 3.5mm cable allows you to use it with a headphone jack if it runs out of power and you can't charge it.
There were only two negatives.
1. The microphone placement allows it to scrape against clothing during calls, producing a loud, ruffling noise. I can't recommend it for work scenarios as this could be off-putting to your colleagues.
2. They lack USB-C charging

Good, but has some limitations

Let's start with the most important factor - they work as advertised. The bluetooth is easy to set up, it seems consistent, the sound is good, and they're pretty darn comfortable (and stay) in my ears. The bottom line is that for the price, they seem like a really good purchase after a couple months of use. I recommend them without hesitation.
The limitations are: The band is bigger than I expected - a little more bulk hanging on the sides than they appear in the picture. The controls can be a little challenging when stop/start, power off/on, or activating the assistant. The weakest point of the product is the battery life. I haven't measured it, but it is less than half of my previous inexpensive (also not noise cancelling) pair, so keeping it charged when not in use is pretty important to remember. I've done a couple runs with them on, failed to charge it for the third, and ran out of batteries half way through the third a couple times.

the battery is ok, 8 hours is fine but will require a daily charge if you use it while working.
I wish the volume went a little higher as well
Ear buds are definitely comfortable and the magnetic blue tooth disabler is helpful for a quick disconnect when i want to speak on my phone itself.
My previous headset was the Sony c400 (purchased through bestbuy). Cheaper and better in my opinion.

I've had these for more than a year, and absolutely love these wireless headphones. They are extremely comfortable. I use them for jogging and working out, and added 'ear tips' to help keep them supported in my ears. The neck support works well for me too.
I also use them for longer phone calls. The mic seems very good and bluetooth connectivity is great.
They hold a good length of charge. I flew for six hours using them on one charge. The charging adapters are great.
The sound, I think is fantastic. I use the Plantronics app which allows for turning on the 'bass boost' and this makes the sound similar to some of my music mixing headphones.
Also the noise-reduction is quite good. Use the application to switch between two gradations of noise reduction, or turn it off completely. I keep these on high if traveling (airplane) or even working with loud droning things at home like a vacuum-cleaner, and I keep the noise reduction on low or off when out jogging.
Overall I'd recommend these. They are solid, comfortable, good charge, good noise reduction, great sound, no complaints!

Just what I needed!

I bought these so that I don't have to keep using a splitter for charging and ear buds at the same time. No regrets!
They charge fairly rapidly and I can get almost a full day out of using them before I have to charge them again. I didn't expect the noise cancelling to be as good as it is, but I found that when I put them in and was listening to music or watching a movie on my iPhone, I could barely hear my sister in the background as she was recording lectures for her on-line classes.
I find them to be comfortable for wearing several hours at a time and the BlueTooth range is excellent. I was able to go from one end of house to the other and not lose my connection.
They have a convenient feature where they magnetically connect to each other (left and right ear piece) if they're not in your ears (like when they're hanging around your neck, or just sitting on the table). This magnet shuts off the power, so they don't stay "on" and drain the battery.
I love these and if I could would buy everyone in my family a set for Christmas.

I was looking for some headphones for my iPhone X, for phone calls, but also for music. Noise cancelling was a bonus for me. I didn't realize how good it was until one day I realized suddenly that my brother was trying to get my attention. He had been about 7 feet away, calling louder and louder, and I didn't hear him.
Battery life is good. I plug it in at night, but I don't think it's dropped below 50%. I have used it for maybe 45 minutes at a time.
The sound quality is good to me. I'm not an expert, but music comes off well.
I have two minor things that bother me. One is the documentation. It's weak. I like to have everything spelled out, like whether I need to charge it all the way the first time.
The second thing is, I use it on the iPhone and on my iPad pro. During phone conversations, every time I got out of range of the iPad, I had to hear, "Phone 2 disconnected." Of course, when I came back, I got the "Phone 2 connected" message. The caller does not hear it, of course. There are a couple of ways I can work around it, though.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the GO 410. I've held off three weeks on the review to give me time to put it through it's paces.

I’ve been searching for a headset that would do the job. It does cancel out a lot of noise and the bass is amazing. The sound quality is great and the microphone is clear so those who speak to me can really hear me. The only con I have is that they don’t have an extra small size earpiece. My ear canal is super small and it does stay in, but I would rather it fit more in. A cool feature is that I can use this headset as regular headphones when the battery goes out. That is an a plus. I’m so glad I was able to find the right headset that met my needs.

These headphones are a great value. They block a good amount of noise that make my train ride more bearable. They do not block out all sounds, which some people might like. The battery lasts a full day. I do wish that the volume would go a bit higher.

This works very well with Android or Samsung Phone and not Apple devices. With iPhone the connections sucks. I lost time connecting while driving and other times it will not connect at all. After 8 months with going back and forth, I have decided to returned it. I was not worth a headache trying to connect to headphone with Apple devices. My Apple devices are iPhone 11 Max Pro, Mac Book Pro mid 2015 and iPad 6 gen.
The noise cancellation on this headset is awesome! With an 8 hrs long battery was amazing from DC to LAX. Once the power goes out you still have 3.5 jack to charge and connect.

I did have an issue with the first pair I bought (which is why I deducted one stay). I contacted Plantronics and their support was great. However, I did have to return the first pair and exchange them. So far my second pair is working great.
These sounds great. I like the design and the earbuds are comfortable. I bought these after my BeatsX headphone stopped working after 18 months. The noise canceling was a great additional feature. It's not a powerful as the noise canceling in Bose, but works fine for what I need and drowns out airplane, lawn mower, and office noise just enough to allow the music to come through great without having to turn the volume too high. I love these.

I purchased these to use while driving a tractor at the golf course where I work. They don't completely shut out the noise of the tractor, but I really didn't expect them to. They do , however, make listening to music while driving the tractor possible, and that is exactly why I purchased them. When I use them at home, I have no complaints. ANC works well and they sound good. I would have liked more equalization options, but they are good sounding headphones with the two equalization options that are available through the app. Only 4 stars because I can't pair it with my SanDisk MP3 player. Works well with my Android phone though.

Great for music, not so good for calls

I thought music quality was pretty good. Decent bass, nice mid-range, and crisp highs.
The earbuds are very comfortable, and fit securely. These are probably some of the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever owned. Can easily wear them for hours, with absolutely no discomfort. Most other earbuds I’ve tried are only good for an hour or two before they get uncomfortable. Definitely not a problem with these.
Over the course of 4 days, I got almost 9 hours out of a charge. I heard a low battery announcement 45 minutes before power off. Then heard recharge warnings 10 & 5 minutes before power out. Much better than another brand I have that gives you about a 10 minute low battery warning, before giving up.
Comes with a small carry pouch, that you pretty much just stuff the headset & charging cable in, which was a little weird since you have to crumple/fold up the headset band a bit to get it in the pouch.
The charging cable has micro USB on the headset end, and regular USB on the other side. The best part - the regular USB side is actually an adapter (that has a short lanyard so it doesn’t get lost) that’s covering a 3.5mm audio plug. The 3.5mm plug can be plugged in to your phone if the headset battery dies, and you can keep right on jammin. Obviously, ANC won’t still work, but at least you still have tunes!
ANC is about what you’d expect from earbuds; not stellar, but decent for office environment
The Plantronics Backbeat app is pretty minimal, and probably mainly useful for firmware updates to the headset. The app only has two EQ presets, emphasizing bass or treble - no sliders, which is pretty lame.
Call quality is acceptable, UNLESS, there’s any environmental noise. While on a conversation, I simply opened a plastic bag, and my wife said she could hear a ton of ‘static’ on the call. I happened to be in the garage when I was talking to her, and when the garage door opened, she said the noise level was almost painful. Our garage opener is belt drive, so it really isn’t that loud. Definitely can’t recommend if you’re going to be talking on it much.
Call/music controls can be difficult to differentiate. Hard to tell if you’re pressing one of the volume buttons, or the middle function button. I imagine this would get easier with time, but I didn’t have this issue with some other headsets I have.
Overall, great for music, but not so good for calls.

My older headphones went belly up while traveling and I wanted to still connect to my airline's audio to watch movies and still have the option for bluetooth and/or noise cancellation. When I looked for a replacement, this is the only set that filled the bill. There is one catch in that the ANC only works while using bluetooth but he earbuds do a good job of blocking out the airplane noise. With the price matching I was able to get these at almost half price so I'm very happy despite the issues with ANC use. Very comfortable, would recommend.

I love these! The battery life is great for wireless earbuds, the ear pieces are oval shaped and very comfortable, and the noise cancelling works better than I expected. Cuts out lots of background noise at the local Starbucks so I can hear my music at lower volume levels. Safer for my hearing and helps me concentrate on whatever I am doing.
