Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Poké Ball Plus for Nintendo Switch for its compatibility with both the Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Go, its easy-to-use design, and its portability. It also includes Mew, a mythical Pokémon, which is a plus for many customers. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have experienced connectivity issues with Pokémon Go.

Trainers gotta get one
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you play Pokémon Go you need one of these. It spins Pokestops for you and, if you have regular Pokeballs, it will try to catch Pokémon for you to. Just open the app, push a button and the device lets you know if a Pokémon is nearby. Click one button and it does the rest!

More than Just a Pokeball!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised at how many features are packed in this little device. While the only game confirmed to use the controller is Pokemon Let' Go Pikachu and Eevee, I believe that the controller does an amazing job by making the player enter the shoes of a Pokemon trainer. Great for family and children!

Fun Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works as expected. My son was excited to receive this. It was much smaller than I anticipated and I was a bit disappointed that it only works on a select few Pokemon games. I thought it would work on all Pokemon games.

Pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son (12), who loves Pokemon. He plays Pokemon Go as well as the Switch game. He begged for it in order to get the Mew. It is a little awkward to use but he seems to have figured it out just fine.

Worth the price based on circumstances
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Pokeball plus is a lovely product that rewards you in Pokemon Let's Go Eevee, Let's Go Pikachu, Sword, and Shield based on your physical activity. It's a great way to make some progress and get some extra in-game goodies if you're going to be doing a lot of walking.

Cool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really only got this to get Mew for Let’s Go. Found out about Mew is only able to be used for one game, so if you want to start a new Let’s go game you will do it without Mew. Used the device itself a few times and works good. Takes time to get used to using it to navigate the menu selections.

Best way to train pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this just cause it's Nintendo and I'm a fanboy when it comes to anything they sell. However as a college student who walks to campus I found this convenient to bring my pokeball along and train my pokemon! I find this to be motivating to remain active, it is definitely a win-win!

Solid tool, could use more buttos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Like how it can automatically collect at Pokestops, but it prioritizes wild pokemon over pokestops...leading to some missed stops and lost items. 2. Decent when playing Pokemon Let's Go for navigating the world and better at "throwing" pokeballs than the Joy Cons, but still not perfect.

Good Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good product. I have not tried with a Switch yet but have attempted to pair it with Pokémon Go as it is also advertised to work with this app on Apple or Android; however, it is very difficult to get it to pair. The process is easy, it just does not connect well.

I want to be a master
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This pokeball plus is an okay accessory but it is obviously designed for someone with either small hands or a child and it is the fact that you can't use it to exit to the home screen on the switch is a major negative

a great way to feel more like a Pokemon trainer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my kids to play Pokemon... the controller adds more realism to the game. Be sure you wear the wrist strap otherwise you'll lose a tv. I can see why this controller was so expensive when it was released, a lot of tech in a small package.

Free MEW, Excellent Accessory!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for 19.99$ on Black Friday. I love this thing!!! I mainly got it for the mew that comes with it. And on shield it’s making getting your Pokémon friends with you way too easy and you get lots of cool items to use in game. It’s so worth it and very well made.

Limited functionality with Pokemon Sword & Shield
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you buy it for SwSh, then you can only use it to get the mew and put a pokemon in it to take out wile walking. Your pokemon won't gain XP but will collect items. No controller functionality is present in SwSh either. All that stuff works great in Let's go series.

Eh
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's nice to get Mew and bring other Pokemon in it but other than that its not the best controller. Haven't tried it on Sword or Shield but you lose a lot of buttons when you use this in Let's Go

Fun for kids and collectors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun way to play the "go" mechanic of Pokemon Let's Go. But limited buttons makes for clunky controls in game. There are no announced plans to support this beyond this game release, so may have limited appeal long term. Fun for kids to "take" their pokemon with them out in the wild.

My son loves it but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loves using this to play let’s go pikachu on the switch. Great product. Was disappointed to find out that the special character that is supposed to come with it was somehow already redeemed.

Superb Peripheral!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very fun peripheral to use while playing Pokemon Go or Let's Go. I wish it had more compatibility with Sword and Shield, but I think that may be getting added in. I procured this specifically because I wanted the Pokemon inside ball for Sword and Shield.

The Kid Loves It
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not a necessary controller for the Switch by any stretch of the imagination. But... If you or your child are in to Pokemon, nothing feels better than using a Pokeball to actually catch and fight Pokemon. Worth it for sheer novelty's sake.

Great and unique controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.USB-C charging, the ability to load Pokemon and walk around in the real world with them, and support for both the Switch games (Hey You series, not Sword and Shield) and Pokemon Go make this an essential item to get if you're interested in Pokemon.

This Pokeball plus is excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a avid pokehunter and the pokeball plus works great with pokemon go. I have caught so many more pokemon with it and also it tracks a better measure of my distance. Only con is that the app has to be open in background. Oh well lol would buy again
