Only lasted a few months before it died but thankfully got the Best Buy warranty so I had it swapped out but a few months later it died again. That time I upgraded to a Klipsch brand subwoofer and haven't had a problem since.

Price matched through Amazon and had it shipped to my house. Hits deep deep bass. Taking this polk back was the best decision ive made. Bic F12 FTW!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My system consists of a Denon X4000 avr, B&W 683 S2 mains, B&W HTM61 S2 center channel, and 6.5" in ceiling rear speakers. I originally bought the matching $650 B&W ASW610 10" sealed subwoofer to fill in the low end, but was unsatisfied. The B&W subwoofer was very tight and clean for music, but lacked in overall output for movies. I didn't want to spend any more money on an additional matching B&W subwoofer, so I figured I'd now try 2 less expensive 10" ported subwoofers instead for increased output. After reading many great reviews for this $200 Polk Audio PSW108, I exchanged the B&W for 2 of them. They are not quite as tight and detailed as the B&W for music, however they make up for it with much more power and impact for movies. With 2 subs vs 1 I also get much more uniform bass response throughout my listening area. I am more than satisfied!

Your hear the Polk sounds hummmmzzzzz . So if you like sound of the bees , get this one !!!

However I was not sold A cord thst is needed to hook THIS up to my system. Spoke to a couple of people but nothing yet....purchased 6/4th...mostly installed 6/18th..not finished by the cheek Squad yet. Still waiting.....i can't recommend or give stars until it is hooked up.

Nobody had any knowledge on receivers or anything. Only what speakers are the loudest. Awesome... I can't get the other speakers to run through this with any sound other than bass. The people at the store wouldn't return it because it was "open box". This just sucks
