Strong bass at a good price. I'm using this is a 5.1 system and it meets my needs.

Bass thumps really deep and smooth especially for its size.

I have a large crawl space under my living room floor which causes an unpleasant feedback when the bass is up too much. I tried many different sub woofers which just seemed to make the condition increase. To have the sound balanced required turning up the volume to the level of "not being able to hear anyone talk". This speaker is kind when sharing the air with guests and is articulate in sound reproduction while still being able to blow out a cigarette lighter. I later found out that it was the perfect critic's choice to match my center channel. Feeling satisfied.

Subwoofer is great at low volumes , really fills a room pretty well. But at louder volumes the unit breaks up.

It a decent powered subwoofer I got it on sale for 130 so no complaints at all bass is good and loud and pretty good and the price point

While watching tv one day, I suddenly realized that something seemed to be missing. We were constantly changing the volume up and down as hearing voices was at a comfortable level but music in movies and commercials seemed to always be too loud. This subwoofer has made all the difference!!! I am able to have my volume at a decent level for voices and music. Although there were many brands to choose from, the Polk Audio PSW108 met our needs both in quality and cost!!!!

This is a great value subwoofer. Powerful, adjustable, and just the right amount of bass for my system, and I like bass. I'm using it along with 2 bookshelf and 2 floor standing speakers from Polk Audio.

For the price this thing is very powerful, has its own adjustments on the back, it works perfect with my 7 now 7.1 surround sound. Very happy with it, nice punch of bass with music and movies.

Not a evpensive sub I added this to my denon reciever and some old speakers and the quality sounds very good.

I needed a replacement sub for me basement sound system, and this one was inexpensive and sounds great! It's even smaller than the previous one, which means it fits better in the cabinet, I recommend it!

It is a good sub for the money. It's good with movies/ music and will give you a extra kick in action scenes

Replaced a 12-year-old Polk sub with this subwoofer. It's a great speaker for the price and fills up a decent size room. I'd definitely recommend for the price.

I bought this sub to pair with my T50 floor towers and I just love what it did to the sound ! Towers can now focus more on voice and detail and leave the base channel to this beast!
