I bought this to replace an RCA sub I had. I mostly use it for movies in a 6 speaker system. Nice clear lows with no booming. Much nicer than the older RCA. Can't beat it for the money. I have heard subs costing much more that didn't sound as good.

Dollar for dollar, this subwoofer is really hard to beat from the standpoint of price and features. East to install and the performance is great!

Energy SW needed to be replaced. Price for Polk was about same as repair cost. Audio tech recommended buying new and updated vs repair. Easy to set up.

Had 2 12 inch subs over the years go out. Decided to go smaller and spend less. The Polk 10 inch is fantastic for my room size. Pack a punch I did not fully expect.

All in all performs relatively well. Not earth shattering lows, but enough to make movies and music very fun. Can bottom out pretty easily, so be mindful of your volume and crossover settings.

While it won't blow your socks off, if provides enough low end to fill out that sound that you're missing. Pairs very well (unsurprisingly) with the matching Polk bookshelf speakers and center speaker in a 5.1 setup.

This sub is very good for the mid range audio enthusiast. It is not as responsive as the Energy 10 which is comparable with a 10" woofer and also front firing. This sub does seem to be a little directional in the projection of sound and you shouldn't be able to discern where subwoofer sound is projecting from. Great value for the price though.

I got one on sale for 91.00. Two days later bought another one with price match for 103.00. They sound great. They are hooked to a Denon 7.2 receiver also got at Best Buy. The only way to listen to music and watch movies.

Powerful sound, I added two of these to my 100w setup. They look good and sound better. I only have them at 1/3 volume currently, and they still shake the house

Nice sub for the price. Filled a small secondary media area well. Will be a second for a more even response.

Needed something to finish of the stereo sound. This was it! It has great bass reproduction, with lower quantity sound files you will notice a lack of bass, this isn’t from the speaker as much as from the source. Only negative is how big the box is. You’re not hiding this inconspicuously. You could use it as an ottoman.

For $150 bucks and the sound quality, you can't beat it as long as you keep in mind that this is an ENTRY subwoofer. If you room is > 400 sq ft, then you might want something a little bit more powerful. With my setup: My bedroom is almost 400 sq ft and has carpet., All I'm using is the line sub out from my amplifier with the X-over at 90 Hz.

Replaced my old 8" sub with this 10" sub. Much cleaner lows and fills the room. Able to adjust to my listening preferences. Love the auto on feature.

Polk audio knows what they're doing when it comes to home and car audio. This is certainly no exception. Hits hard but can be just as subtle as you need it. Really brings movies to life and makes music just that much better

This sub slams! I use it for my garage set up for outdoor parties and I get tons of compliments! Great value and lots of adjustments and I would definitely buy it again!

Bought the Polk center, bookshelf and subwoofer to go with a Yamaha receiver and existing ceiling rear mounted speakers . Polk was a great value for car speakers and their home audio is just as good .

My husband convinced me to let him redo our speaker system from a regular sound bar to a full blow surround sound system. This particular subwoofer was just what we needed! It complements the rest of the system very well!

Great subwoofer, I have it paired up with a Denon receiver and it takes care of all my audio needs. There's no distortion even at high levels during the action packed scenes, and it works for gaming and music too.
