I bought it on 50% off sale and man I like it. From the looks this woofer is beautiful with nice finish. Quality of the sound is also amazing. I used it with compatible speakers also from Polk Audio and the result was impressive.

Great bang for the buck, it has enough boom for a medium size room. For the price you cant beat this thing. Set up correctly, you can rock the house.

Had 2 12 inch subs over the years go out. Decided to go smaller and spend less. The Polk 10 inch is fantastic for my room size. Pack a punch I did not fully expect.

I bought these for my husband to play xbox and WOW he loves them and so do I! The sound is superb. I swear I heard someone stepping on leaves, rocks falling, and vehicles from far away. These are a must have!

Does a nice job of filling in the lows in my home theater system. Have always been a polk speaker fan.

Powerful sound, I added two of these to my 100w setup. They look good and sound better. I only have them at 1/3 volume currently, and they still shake the house

I bought this to replace an RCA sub I had. I mostly use it for movies in a 6 speaker system. Nice clear lows with no booming. Much nicer than the older RCA. Can't beat it for the money. I have heard subs costing much more that didn't sound as good.

This sub slams! I use it for my garage set up for outdoor parties and I get tons of compliments! Great value and lots of adjustments and I would definitely buy it again!

While it won't blow your socks off, if provides enough low end to fill out that sound that you're missing. Pairs very well (unsurprisingly) with the matching Polk bookshelf speakers and center speaker in a 5.1 setup.

Energy SW needed to be replaced. Price for Polk was about same as repair cost. Audio tech recommended buying new and updated vs repair. Easy to set up.

This sub is very good for the mid range audio enthusiast. It is not as responsive as the Energy 10 which is comparable with a 10" woofer and also front firing. This sub does seem to be a little directional in the projection of sound and you shouldn't be able to discern where subwoofer sound is projecting from. Great value for the price though.

I got one on sale for 91.00. Two days later bought another one with price match for 103.00. They sound great. They are hooked to a Denon 7.2 receiver also got at Best Buy. The only way to listen to music and watch movies.

Needed something to finish of the stereo sound. This was it! It has great bass reproduction, with lower quantity sound files you will notice a lack of bass, this isn’t from the speaker as much as from the source. Only negative is how big the box is. You’re not hiding this inconspicuously. You could use it as an ottoman.

Replaced my old 8" sub with this 10" sub. Much cleaner lows and fills the room. Able to adjust to my listening preferences. Love the auto on feature.

Bought the Polk center, bookshelf and subwoofer to go with a Yamaha receiver and existing ceiling rear mounted speakers . Polk was a great value for car speakers and their home audio is just as good .

This was a great upgrade from a small 8 inch I had before. The cross over and set up was very easy. I do like the black finish and grill.

For $150 bucks and the sound quality, you can't beat it as long as you keep in mind that this is an ENTRY subwoofer. If you room is > 400 sq ft, then you might want something a little bit more powerful. With my setup: My bedroom is almost 400 sq ft and has carpet., All I'm using is the line sub out from my amplifier with the X-over at 90 Hz.

Got it on an open box special and it works great. I set it up behind the love seat (the one we sit in to watch tv). Action movies make it vibrate at just the right time without having to play the audio to loud. Makes moves more immersive than surround sound alone.
